Been watching for this one! Exactly the build I’m wanting for my 2017! Although I’m back in forth on the s366 or the s363. I’ll be towing more often soon and not sure which one I’ll be more happy with. Any advice would be much appreciated.
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE 37’s currently. But I’m thinking of going back to 35’s. Don’t care for the 37” ride. Lol. What would be the advantage of the s400? Not as educated with turbos as I’d like to be.
@@jasoncox2132 My personal opinion a S400 is a better choice because you can beat on it . Shaft is bigger , less issues with possible failures of bearing , yes they spool different , trans shift points will be different but when properly don’t they drive nice ! They engine also like the larger turbine wheel because it’s not wound tight 24/7 cruising down the drag strip at 80 mph ! The 300 series will drive more like stock and spool faster . So it goes both ways !
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE Will the 464 work well with stock injectors? Not looking to upgrade anytime soon. But definitely wanna go with the exergy 10mm stroker.
Wonder what that costs, I have a 14 with the retrofit turbo and hpfp from a 17+(OEM parts) truck cause i still pull and haul, I put 566 down. Sometimes wish I would've went a little bigger but I feel the lag would be to much for pulling. 566 still good enough to wipe the smirk off most muscle car drivers faces, very little smoke as well.
Their is a little more that charger can do we’ve pushed them to 590 if you wanting to push it a little harder ! The S300 swap is in the 5k range depending on exact speck sir !
What would you recommend if I wanted to turn this truck into the ultimate work horse? I’m not looking for a race truck or crazy high HP. What if I want consistent good torque, a little HP bump, but making it as reliable and fuel efficient as possible
Was reading through some of the comments on here and you all caught my attention with the 400 frame turbos do you all have any more information about these or where to find them I currently have a 2017 psd i’d like to get better performance out of it is a working truck so i’d like to keep it reliable too. Thanks

Personally if your gonna be working it hard I prefer a 464! What size tire and that will help ?

@@jasoncox2132 Yes sir you’ll have plenty of injector to make clean power and spool the charger !

Was the gear ratio ever changed?
No sir
Whats the max whp possible of a s366?and the max whp of this cp4.2 ?
On a Stroker we’ve hit 750 and started to loose rail pressure a 366 personally iver never pushed one hard let’s say 650 / 700 !
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE the cp4.2 did 750whp or crankhp? And for the s366 its 650/700crankhp or whp?
@@Haya3usaGsxr We measure everything Rwhp
@@POINTBLANKPERFORMANCE thank you ! I have a stock cp4.2 in hand,i ll see if i can do 750whp also
