      We got taught in school that a warm shower was essential for recovery after training. It's amazing how the stretches I got taught and loads of other things we took as the gold standard has been shown to be completely wrong and sometimes detrimental over the years.

    • @ADU17
      @ADU17 2 роки тому +1

      @@SD-ym1rt yh we don’t even get taught to stretch at school lol, also if you have a shower, cold showers are a lot better than warm showers especially for recovery, not sure if you already knew or not but thought it was worth mentioning

    (TL;DR of my comment: make sure your diet or supplements have plenty of B1, B6, and B12)
    The neurotropic B vitamins (thiamine (B1), pyridoxine (B6), cobalamin (B12) ) are KEY; they're used in the metabolism of carbohydrates for peripheral nerve fibres. Nerves not just for controlling muscles, but also for reflex. Diet (especially in America) may not cover what you need.
    Acute B vitamin deficiency can result in fatigue and brain fog, while chronic B vitamin deficiency can lead to neuropathy (numbness, pain and weakness) and can contribute to Alzheimer's.
