Seriously the adverts they did spoofing the Professionals and the Sweeney should have got an award, they were so clever and spot on with the characters and references to original shows.
@@gj003f6898 Blimey, mate, I’d literally just commented on another thread that Lewis clearly taught Zoolander everything he knew. Collins was likely on some Spec Ops in the States and “Blue Steel” is pure plagiarism.
0:32 ~ "Go faster!...." ~ "I'm doin' nearly 30??...." ~ "Naughty boy!!....!" Absolute quality!....What an advert..and "The Sweeney" one the following year. They had them down to a "T"....
Awesome Ad. My Car (Morris Marina) was used in this ad, they had the car for 2 days but sadly its only in a couple of frames at about 41 seconds in. Paid well though :-)
Also I would always imagine enjoy watching the TV series Hart to Hart, Magnum PI, Hunter, Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, Dempsey and Makepeace including, KNIGHT RIDER, LA Law including many other
if they ever do a movie version - Tom Hardy/Bodie, Jude Law/Doyle, Bill Nighy/Cowley? either a sequel set in the mid/late 80s as a continuation of the show (abit like the Starsky & Hutch movie but that was a prequel and a comedy), or a full on remake set present day (like The Sweeny remake)

I’d forgotten this one. Made me smile.
Amazing performance by Ray Trickett as Lewis Collins
Sod Zoolander's "Blue Steel"! It'll always be The Bodie Pout!

"Cover me!" Just the best car ad, ever
Had a '96 P-reg 1.4 Si, bought 2nd hand in Jan '02. Owned it for 5 years & never failed an MOT. Brilliant car
The Lewis Collins character is spot on
He actually looks like bodie and has his mannerisms
That was Phil Cornwell as Doyle
I would enjoy the Professionals more also the with watching Edward Woodward as Robert McCall in a TV series the Equalizer
Also I would always imagine enjoy watching the TV series Hart to Hart, Magnum PI, Hunter, Starsky and Hutch, Charlie's Angels, Dempsey and Makepeace including, KNIGHT RIDER, LA Law including many other
Add to that list Kojak, Hawaii-5-0, Chips, streethawk, A team, The equalizer, the sweeney, Matt houston & the fall guy
bet this is better than the entire reboot series lol
reboot series/????
Yes best not to talk about that train wreck 😨
You're not wrong there...
@@johnbanks4761The New Professionals.....with Edward Woodward.....it was appalling

0:01 is that the actress who played Jackie Tyler from Dr Who? (Rose Tyler/billie pipers mother)
i do not think so , it is the lass at 00:04 out of the tub
Correct. Camille Coduri.
I thought it was the glamour model Michelle Collins.
@@gedhession your correct. Formally Vera Collins. Brummie.
The actor playing Doyle plays Dave Clifton in I'm Alan Partridge.
Phil Cornwell. Also does a decent Michael Caine impression.
And Stella Street, and voices Car S.O.S bizarrely.
日産がこんなの作ってたなんて、知らなかった
Ah, yes, I remember when British adverts had white people in them. Good times.
