The original rainbow flag represented inclusivity, since it has all the colors of the visible light spectrum. So it represented everyone, regardless of identity. Now it just represents a bunch of different identities, including non-existent ones, because people need attention and have to make it about themselves. I am going to demand my own color since I identify as a quaternary protein structure.

@@Uarehere Just FYI the rainbow coalition name was co-opted by Jesse Jackson but was founded by Fred Hampton, who wanted a cross-racial class-centric people's movement (as opposed to a black-centric movement), which united people instead of dividing them based on identity. That is why Fred Hampton was murdered. The owners of this country want division and identity politics are a great way to keep people divided.
