    This video was 10x more useful then the included manual

    Thanks for the video! I had the first part but didn't realize I had to tighten the second screw. Anyways all good now. Just curious if you have adjusted the rates and gains to make the drone possibly more receptive to the stick movements. I think one thing everyone has to remember is this is kind of like taking any of our FPV drones and flying it with a lion pack compared to a lipo. The lion packs do not have the zip like a lipo. It would be interesting to see if they could make a lipo style battery for this drone., but I think it's defeating the purpose of this drone. It's really not designed for that in the first place

    Nice! Now what's the hack for 3D flying?

    i have tightened f1 and f2, but the stick does not stop at the lowest position. it still moves back slightly. what could be the reason for this?

      I think you’re supposed to loosen not tighten

    I have the Avata 1, but the fpv controller 2 isnt in stock since forever, in a future firmware update, will the FPV controller 3 be able to connect with the avata 1

      Hopefully yes, I have the FPV3 and it's really no different from the FPV 2.
      We have no confirmation though, But hopefully in a month or two yes they will unlock it and all of the related hardware to be more compatible

      @@brandon9689 The FPV3 actually has less in it as it now only talks to the headset and not the drone directly

      @@brandon9689 hello is it ok to use fpv2 and goggles3 at the same time?

      @@rexteeveenot at the moment. You need to use both of the same generation. You can't mix and match.
      Avata 2 with goggles 2 and controller 2. Or Avata 2 with goggles 3 and controller 3.

    • @Mayday.Aerial
      @Mayday.Aerial  4 місяці тому +3

      it's because in full manual you have to control the throttle at all times, this way it stays where you take it, otherwise the resting position would be at 50% throttle, it's not ideal for manual flight.

    • @pash846
      @pash846 4 місяці тому

      @@Mayday.Aerial So if the middle is 50% throttle and the bottom is 0% throttle. How do you go backwards?
      I've seen so many videos where the drone is ripping through a small window and then suddenly going backwards through that same small window. It looks impossible! Are they fake videos?

      @@pash846imagine a helicopter, throttle is only up and down, they pitch forwards or backwards so up and down becomes slightly forwards or backwards

    • @brandon9689

      The throttle just revs the motors in FPV. You need to roll and pitch the drone to push the drone in a given direction.
      It's really hard to appreciate how much those self hovering drones are thinking for you. Until you fly an FPV drone and the left stick is literally a gas pedal and you're fully responsible for keeping the drone from hitting the ground.
