You could always modify a wine display as a greenhouse. Some homes now have wine displays that are floor to ceiling in a main room on the main floor for aesthetics. It’s usually behind glass to control the temp. They do look quite modern but to me glass is timeless. Glass can easily fit into any aesthetic. Whenever I see them I always think I would get rid of the racks and use it for plants😂
With the first one you potted, ive seen people put a layer of lecca in first, then put in the pon. Im just learning about plants, and everyone does things a little different.
@@marnieclifford8604 yes I've seen people do that as well! And absolutely, everyone finds what works well for them and the great thing about this hobby is trying new things!
@@wkay4124 thanks so much for watching! I grow all of my philodendrons in leca/semi hydroponics so my advice may differ if you don't grow in that type of medium! @@boopeepope56-ey5gz thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the video. I get my tiny leca from a hydroponic store closest to me. So I would start there (wherever you're located)!
Hi Brandon! Found your channel recently and loving the vids. Are you located near Toronto? I've been living here a couple years now and I'm wanting to make some planty friends/get to know people in the community!
@philobrandon nice! Let me know if you'd like some guidance on stained glass making, it's something my partner and I do and it's definitely an expensive hobby to get into but it's really rewarding!
You should put your monstera in hydrogen peroxide. It’s the only thing I know that can rid the rot without cutting it. I am going through this same thing with my monstera Deliciosa.
@ What I was told originally by other creators was only an hour or so, but what I do is not that. 😊 I have found that it gives a big boost to the roots too. I have the video on it scheduled to come out on 12-23 if you’re interested. I put my plants in half water and half hydrogen peroxide for about 5 days (depending the size to of the plant). I will alternate then only water and mycho the next 5 days and if the rot isn’t quite gone do it again. It’s not a 100% cure all, but I have found it is the best thing for it.
weird question butttt did you do a TESOL class in heredia costa rica ? i think it was in 2019 ? you remind me sooooo much of one of my classmates and you have the same name haha
I like both music and talking, but sometimes I get tired of the “noise” of the talking. I am not a chatty person I don’t think in my videos and tend to speed up using music so people don’t lose interest. I watch so many planty videos and really I love them all in most cases.
Definitely likes the chatty content, keeps us accompanied while I'm doing my own plant chores

I don't have anthurium, yet.
But, I am hoping to get the pallidiforum one day.
I have seen other plant tubers top off with sphagnum moss.
