There's theories and then there's THEORIES. This is the latter. I can't wait to see how these come true, I think this also really ties in with the mystery surrounding the title of the series. W take, 13/10 will watch again

This is why I subscribed all those years ago. This is the content that makes One Piece great. Excellent stuff my dude. I have no doubt you'll surpass our expectations again.
Also what if the poneglyphs are indestructible because someone who had the barrier fruit used they're awakening on them so they could never be destroyed. We know that Bart's DF was in Wano as we saw it in in Oden's flashback
Even if Oda doesn't go this route, your analysis and deep dives into numbers, lore, and real life history is unparalleled! This is one of your best bangers yet Ran D. 🔥

I like this idea because it involves everything and brings everything together. Really love the connection between Rayleigh and Blackbeard, with Rayleigh knowing why Blackbeard wants the Mero-Mero no mi. It makes sense that he would know because he knows all the secrets of the world. Also interesting that Sabaody isn’t that far away. Maybe he is on Sabaody so he can watch over Amazon Lily from afar, since he’s a male and wouldn’t be allowed there in the first place. And saw he was pretty much able to swim halfway there.
I always find it interesting how Luffy and buggy have so many parallels and things align for them naturally but blackbeard (and maybe shanks) have to manipulate things. Can’t wait to see buggy’s awakening, I was thinking about his fruit just a few days ago and how important it will be in the end.
I know you can’t comment or elaborate further on things but my late self just saw you’ll be in the writers room for OP season 2. I am so excited for you and for all of us. Nothing screams a shows success more than having people in the room who truly love the story. Congratulations Randy! Savage!
Also, if the original Oars IS Joy boy, it's interesting that Ace (Possible Potential Joy boy candidate) made a descendent of Joy boy a giant straw hat, (the one little Oars Jr. wears) and that of all places, Wano is the place that Ace learns how to weave a giant hat.
Imo one and only Joyboy candidate was Luffy. Look at it, he just making true all promises of Joyboy on way to one piece. + His goofy style of being Luffy from the start making him ideal user to his goofy devil fruit. Ace was too smart to even make though about gear 3 or 4....
29:40 Then again, Shyarly's prophecy and the Sea Kings talking about "the two sovereigns" trumps that, it's a moment in time where both the inheritor of JoyBoy's will and Poseidon are alive at the same time and in contact with one another. And no, JoyBoy is not coming back to life because inherited will is one of the main themes of the entire series, not being dead as long as you are remembered, because as long as you are remembered others will continue to do what you were doing, you'll stay alive through their actions in your memory, because they inherited your will. If you believe Oda would scrap that, one of the backbones of the series themes, then sure, the poneglyphs are parts of JoyBoy that will be reassembled and reawakened and JoyBoy himself, Oars, I, father of the continent puller, will reclaim his hat from the vaults of Marie Geoise, and the 1500 chapters prior to that were just the prologue to awaken the main character of the story, and nothing that happened in them actually matters
Joy Boy being a giant makes some sense regarding the Lore of Zunesha, that thing is incredible huge. Only a giant with a powerful devil fruit could beat zunisha
I like it (mostly for that cool poneglyph golem art) but also because it brings together many elements throughout the series. One piece is long but a validation of that length would be if almost everywhere and everyone met along the way played some role in the climax and key elements of the series. Also buggy playing a key role in the series is always funny to me considering he could have just been a one off villain. Side note. Leo could be the stitcher rather than doffy.
Love this theory. Love when a great amalgamation of theories build to an even stronger one. Really reinforces the lore and builds upon it. Best quality one piece videos imo!!
It also doesn't hurt to mention that probably besides the Gorosei and Imu, Blackbeard most likely is the most knowledgeable about devil fruits considering he spent decades reading the Df encyclopedia on Whitebeards ship. He knows what he's doing in terms if collecting certain fruits but I wonder if he doesn't need every single one he's gone after. There can be some exceptions to his plan and that's why he backed of off Boa's when the resistance to get it was too much hassle to make it worth it
You don't need the memories of a sentient being for an item to have a purpose. Roger still needed Oden to translate the text, so the stones cloud not convey their contents, he could not hear the thoughts of someone. He could, at most, tell the purpose of the stone, like: To tell a story, to pinpoint a location, to show a route, to apologize
To be fair, being petrified (basically being killed), chopped up to 30 pieces and left to wait for 800 doesnt exactly help with having complex thoughts to communicate
@@litten4112 Oh, I apologize, I wasn't aware of that. How many people do you know that have been through something like this, then? Regardless, this is just one of small problems with this theory, the main one is that it contradicts one of the main themes of the series, that of inherited will. If a theory goes against Hiruluk's words, that theory is immediately wrong

And to say that you've fully grasped my attention within the first 5 minutes is an understatement XD. So far, I'm loving it! You've easily earned a new subscriber
Randy went full parvision on this one, would be interesting to see how much of this stuff actually connects how ever I’m not getting on the boat just yet, personally I think the voice off all things doesn’t let you “hear” the thoughts of people but let’s you hear their desire/soul/true intent which is why they never actually “say” what they are hearing just “who is that, or what is that” I believe the voice off all things is why luffy was so adamant about things like zoro, nami and sanji joining the crew and even more so with nico robin, and in recent chapters he keeps talking to kizaru about why he’s doing this cause there’s a chance kizaru really doesn’t want to do these things but he’s under orders and he’s in the end a good soldier above all else, this contriction of actions vs desire would like likely be why he’s asking so many questions, and would really make sense with the whole cake arc and sanji situation at least to me. Now when it comes to objects we’ve learned that they can also have desires base on say the “desire/will” of a previous “owner” of said item in the case of the poneglyphs if they were written with the “desire and will” of a person or persons the item now Carrie’s that forever and those with the voice of all things may be able to hear the “the desire of those items to be combined or read in sequence to not forgotten which could be why roger knew what he had to do but needed oden to actually translate them.
22:30 MASSIVE twofold problem with the theory here. 1. Roger didn't have a son when he said that, as Rayleigh pointed it out. He was not adamant on his son in particular being a key to the future, imo, but claiming it would be, as they had already said, the next generation, and he wanted to leave someone behind who could lead that generation. 2. Shanks gave his hat to Luffy because he said the same thing Roger use to say, because they had the same dream, and that was even before Luffy met Ace for the first time
Yeah this theory is wacky but I admire the work that went into it. I'm pretty sure it's said flat out that the Wano masons were working with the poneglyph material even before the void century.
@@jackroberts2704 The thing is, the more contradictions in a theory, the less work it has been put into it. If it ignores something that's been consistently present since Roger's execution, then they didn't even think this over for more than two seconds. You can get as wacky as you want, in fact, the more crackpot the better. Just be critical enough of your own idea to recognize when it's not possible, or just plain wrong. Not sure about the masons of Wano, though, would have to reread, but if so, it'd be just another sign that this was not thought through
I personally think the Original Joy Boy was actually the Nika fruit "eaten" by either an inanimate object due to Zoan fruits having pretty much their own souls and human fruits being vastly smarter. It would explain why "Joy Boy" is spelled with " ".
Vegapunk said his theory of what a devil fruit is is someone basically trying to manifest unnatural powers that's against mother nature so from that i thjnn joyboy didn't eat a devil fruit i think all logia. Zoans. And paramecia where all living thing's before death and their will and emotions plus their natural ability was turned into a devil fruit and only way to get them was to manifest them back but instead of the person it was their essence
2018 - "Okay... hear me out. What if Kaido is a Poneglyph?" 2023 - "Okay... hear me out. What if the Poneglyphs *are* Joyboy." I'm not saying this is a bad theory. I love it. I'm saying it's EXTREMELY ambitious and precise. If this ends up being right, this is an absolutely enormous W.
Assuming Onigashima being Joyboy's skull reminds me of the location in Narutoverse with Sasuke and Naruto battling in the valley of the end (with the statues of Madara and 1st Hokage)
That Osiris story makes me think about davy jones locker. Getting trapped in a box and dropped into the ocean floor never to leave. Oda is too good at interconnecting this shit
one thing I love about how the devil fruit system works is how as fruits reincarnated throughout the centuries the different users could have different interpretations and skill levels of the same ability. It really allows for some crazy different spins on the same "unique" powers.
Roger was and remains the biggest troll on the internet. But before the internet there was Joyboy. His 800 year troll is godlike. Imagine Imu's face when her world comes tumbling down because of the most long term joke ever.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention any ties or references to Mesoamerican culture. The ruins in Skypiea closely resemble Aztec or Mayan culture, with a few hints of Incan as well. Luffy known as the rubber man can also be a reference to the rubber people of Mexico known as the Olmec.
I'm subbed to dak and mentioned to him a while back that I think the devil fruits exist *because* of Nika and not the other way around!! My thought was the entire world of One Piece is possible because of Joyboys awakening
You always find a way to convince me that your theories are the way the story should go xD Proud and happy that someone with this amount of knowledge about one piece is behind the production of the second season of the Live Action adaptation
I just realized that you don't tend to watch theories about what the One Piece will be, but also technically with your closing line concluded that it's the "One Peace" haha, somewhat subverting expectations of what even fans see coming What an incredible theory Randy these videos are always exceedingly impactful and interesting throughout, a theory coming from you is always peak content just in general
The information, the delivery & just overall being an enjoyable video . Got me hooked . This my first time watching your content and you already got my sub
Randy you my man are an absolute mad man. Love this theory and am excited to see if it turns out to be true. Keep up the good work, and excited to hear of your role in season 2!
I still subscribe to the theory that Gol D. Roger found Laftel which showed him where the One Piece was. Laftel's poneglyph was the final directions to the One Piece, and the story of the Strawhats. Because what else would cause them to laugh so hard? they were laughing at the tale. The One Piece is located at Long Long island, but can only be found once a year, with the Agua Laguna hits, they made it there, found what was hidden, and regardless of whether or not they left the treasure there is besides the point. Because the man who was supposed to find it, didn't care if there was actual treasure there. Luffy just wants to be free and have fun afterall.
Out of all the theories I’ve listened to, this was one of the most fun and interesting ones I’ve heard. Thank you for making this not only interesting, but entertaining.
This is a video based off most of what I've been saying!! Vivi getting the Nikyu No Mi fruit makes perfect sense, it also would make sense that the poneglphys were precisely distributed through the powers of the Nikyo No Mi. This would mean Lily is the orginal user and history would become full circle of Vivi is the last (most recent) user!! The Mero Mero No mi being called Love seems like anther cover up of the true name of the fruit, and I think Blackbeard knows this. Imagine if the awakening of the fruit could make indestructible rock from humans and objects, it's insane but in the one piece world its practical. You can tell that these devil fruits are connected by will!
Yeah. Buggys fruit cuts joyboy. Law's fruit swaps the parts into the stones and hat. Boa hancook makes the stones unbreakable, kuma's fruit sends them away. Maybe croc fruit got the best sand together, like gara did in enma, and Morias fruit gave the stones, joy boy crew shadows. Wow. This video is great. It showed me so many roads.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Hope your wifu and baby r doing great!❤
yesss i'm not entirely sure if i buy the literal reassembly of joy boy quite yet, but i love that this is taking into consideration the link and shared goals of roger before shanks before luffy. i just think the thing that they share here is not necessarily a literal missing piece (in the form of joyboy's hat), but a bit more abstract in that they hadn't weakened the world government's control over enough of the world for a revolution to be successful; and then maybe the overarching story of one piece is luffy's journey to finally liberate and inspire enough of the world's people to come together to overthrow a tyrannical government by the end of the story for the freedom luffy wants for his friends :) so it's i think overall a story about how the material conditions for a successful revolution are set, and how you get buy-in at all levels from within (garp, koby), without (luffy, dragon), and everywhere in between (shanks, the boy that moon gramps ended)
Sometimes I get this crazy feeling, that Blackbeard was actually a Roger Pirate. I know there's a lot of hints about a relationship with Xebec, and that's still not impossible. There could be a lot of explanations, but for simplicity I imagine he's very old because he ate a phoenix fruit… that allows him to be reborn, which makes him immortal, which is why he can eat more than one fruit. If this was true, then a more likely scenario is the he's lied to everyone including his own crew… and his real plan is a "oh shit, we're screwed!" kind of thing!
Randy Troy at it again!!! Great theory gave me a lot to think about the direction of the series. I hope you post daily One Piece content in the future. You are the Jokic One Piece youtubers right now.
My personal theory is that Neptunians/Sea Kings are the former citizens of the ancient kingdom that have been transformed by some power as punishment for fighting with JoyBoy against the world government.
5:15 I see that One Piece seems to have a lot of parallels to Bionicle in that regard. But One Piece got more time. Bionicle had to rush in the end and reveal the Giant Robot too early.
I'm new to the channel and i can't stress enough how happy I am that there is a hard subs on your video and that you used the same font from the anime!
I find it interesting that the Oars shown in Thriller Bark has a swath of blue across his stomach and looks like the inverse of the entire One Piece world. I've been thinking that the red line is the strip of flesh torn from Oars' middle and wrapped around the planet using the awakened Hito Hito Nomi but the idea of several devil fruits being necessary to unlock the One Piece is really interesting.
I've been thinking a lot recently on the "2 sovereign shall meet", and who the second sovreign could be, since we know Shirahoshi is one of them.. I think the second sovreign is Momo. I don't think it's Luffy, because if we say Luffy embodies Joyboy's personality, then Joyboy wouldn't have been a king of a nation, not his personality. Momo is starting to make more sense, and started thinking more about why he didn't open Wano to the world, and it could be that he needs to meet Shirahoshi first before they open Wano to the world
Another thought I've been having recently is that I think Blackbeard has a Cerberus fruit, not the popular Kraken fruit. If we were to say that Oda would have foretold us these hidden powers in the early story, then I think the Cerberus fruit fits blackbeard more. As the Cerberus is the gatekeeper of hell, so it would make sense if the fruit had gravitational powers to drag things into hell, but also keeps the item locked up. The Cerberus has 3 heads, so it would explain his flag. Also with the Gorosei shown their transformations, it seems like one of them has a Kraken like figure amongst them..
@BabyPluto_N That would also be very cool. I've liked the Kraken for it's connection to the sea, but the sinister symbolism of Cerberus and 3 heads makes a lot of sense.
Not gonna lie this was interesting af. That would be a dope ending put joy boy back together. And him and luffy fight together one good time against imu. Not only that to hear him and imu talk about he past and confirm alot of things as they fight. Would be dope too, this was great.
24:27 as you said ancient giant (joy boy) losing his skull is parallel to luffy in loguetown getting behaded by buggy and the only other instance in which same execution method used is to execute "giants" remaining members of "giant pirates" ( chp - 866 big mom's flashback ) which beautifully supports the theory! I also had the idea of "person being petrified inside the poneglyph that's why they have voices and that's why blackbeard wants boa's fruit" Loved the video and the theory about "Osiris's" story was awesome! and always a pleasure when gaimon comes into the theory.
I think a big part of this theory that's missing is how enamoured Luffy, Usopp, Chopper and Franky are with the idea of "docking" to create a giant mecha. 🧐
such an awesome theory man..!! and congratz on getting into the writers room for S2 of OPLA! Can't wait to see the next Reverie, which I hope can bring Matt Owens again, and maaaaaybe one of our beloved OPLA Strawhat.. 😜
Honestly I was sold on the one piece making the world into one piece, destroying the red line and fishman island for over a decade. Now you have me questioning that. Thanks
Ok literally from the thumbnail, before watching, my first thought was "Oh shit what if the Poneglyphs are people? Doflamingo asked when will the family of D show themselves... And I'm pretty sure he said they've been hiding in the shadows of HISTORY or something along those lines... History being what the Poneglyphs are all about it could mean something?? And thats why they have a VOICE" Aight lets see if thats what this video is about or if I'm completely off my rocker Edit: Ok I was on the right path but good lord this video is so good. GOOD SHIT RANDY
This is such a good theory that I am fully invested in it now. The first time i I heard you talk about it I thought it had potential but now I'm pretty convinced this is going to be the big twist.
The paw paw fruit is also really weird in that the paws seem to be permanent. Other paramecia fruits seem to allow the user to change parts at will. Iva's fruit for injections, Mr.1, etc. So I really like the idea that the paw paw was Lili's fruit.
Kinda interesting when you talk about aces soul passing onto luffy or the will, not sure if its in the manga but in the anime when white beard dies a white feather passes over aces red beed then onto luffy, to me anyways when i seen it i thought "its almost as if its signifying aces will/soul passed onto luffy"
what a fun video! i love how you take some out there ideas and just run with them. always so fun to hear things id never even begin to consider, and you always bring up some really fascinating points too! cant express my appreciation for your videos enough, they're always just such a fun time to watch. also ty for the subtitles you put in, so much effort as always! W's all around
Nico Robin. Nika Robin. Her mom's hair was white. Could she be related to joy boy. I think she Luffy cousin, dragon is robins uncle that's why he was so mad about ohara, they killed his sister and when the rebels found Robin they already knew about her and kept her safe.
12:57 Roger didn’t go after the fruit they found it , mainly Buggy I think. ROGER didn’t care about devil fruit powers because as Kaido said, Haki is Everything. I believe the stones are embedded with Joy Boy Haki or Spirt which is why they are so unbreakable and the red are the last ones he or someone close to him made with this life Energy that make it that color. Red like the sun, also Split in 4 like the RED line does for the 4 Blues in OP
I like to think that Teach's Yami Yami is actually Hito Hito Model "Yami" (temporary name) because it's almost identical to the Gomi Gomu and we learned that there were 4 gods in Skypeia, imo BB is the "god of the EARTH" because the Earth "swallows" everything as alluded by his Black Hole attack, that means he could still get a logia or just another paramecia to fit his "3" motif
It would be wild if the ponyglyphs combined and reanimated turns out to be ROCKS. They tattooed/hieroglyphed his body and chopped him up. His name is rocks and you put hieroglyphs on stone so that’s more fitting to me than putting the info on joyboy.
There's theories and then there's THEORIES. This is the latter. I can't wait to see how these come true, I think this also really ties in with the mystery surrounding the title of the series. W take, 13/10 will watch again

What if Kaido is a Poneglyph?"
2023 - "Okay... hear me out. What if the Poneglyphs *are* Joyboy."
I'm not saying this is a bad theory.
13:30- glad that Nectp’s artwork is getting public recognition. You should all check out his One Piece artwork collection
Theres people in the poneglyphs. The stones are haki-hardened by pouring the last of their life and will to send an unbreakable message to the future
Some paw paw or ope ope fruit shenanigans, that’s pretty heat actually
What is this, AoT?
Would explain why the stones have "voices"
This theory is a new favorite of mine. Well done Dak and Randy!
Joyboy/ponyglyph megazorrrd goes brrrr brrrr. Great theory
46k views is insane this mans theories top tier
I'm subbed to dak and mentioned to him a while back that I think the devil fruits exist *because* of Nika and not the other way around!! My thought was the entire world of One Piece is possible because of Joyboys awakening
You always find a way to convince me that your theories are the way the story should go xD
Proud and happy that someone with this amount of knowledge about one piece is behind the production of the second season of the Live Action adaptation
I just realized that you don't tend to watch theories about what the One Piece will be, but also technically with your closing line concluded that it's the "One Peace" haha, somewhat subverting expectations of what even fans see coming
What an incredible theory Randy these videos are always exceedingly impactful and interesting throughout, a theory coming from you is always peak content just in general
thank you Novum and yes, that's my thoughts on the treasure itself and why I don't really watch videos on it
The information, the delivery & just overall being an enjoyable video . Got me hooked . This my first time watching your content and you already got my sub
Thanks for the kind words!
Randy you my man are an absolute mad man.
Love this theory and am excited to see if it turns out to be true.
Keep up the good work, and excited to hear of your role in season 2!
Dude, that thumbnail xD
You gave us Le Tigre with Law is a marine.
Then you hit us with Magnum with Math Piece.
This is Blue Steel.
We can't get any higher.
Out of all the theories I’ve listened to, this was one of the most fun and interesting ones I’ve heard. Thank you for making this not only interesting, but entertaining.
You got a sub, this is real S-tier one piece commentary!
thanks for that! Welcome!
I think ponoglyph are pieces of jigsaw puzzles place them in correct manner and you will see the big picture
Damn the Osiris thing was freaking deep
Characters from the beginning coming back? Did I hear my man Gin?!
One of the best one piece theories I’ve ever watched
Thanks!
It showed me so many roads.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hope your wifu and baby r doing great!❤
You and Dak always cook up some crazy good stuff
I think brook is a cp-0 like guy. in the story he told us that's he was a night like figer for a kingdom.
yesss i'm not entirely sure if i buy the literal reassembly of joy boy quite yet, but i love that this is taking into consideration the link and shared goals of roger before shanks before luffy. i just think the thing that they share here is not necessarily a literal missing piece (in the form of joyboy's hat), but a bit more abstract in that they hadn't weakened the world government's control over enough of the world for a revolution to be successful; and then maybe the overarching story of one piece is luffy's journey to finally liberate and inspire enough of the world's people to come together to overthrow a tyrannical government by the end of the story for the freedom luffy wants for his friends :)
so it's i think overall a story about how the material conditions for a successful revolution are set, and how you get buy-in at all levels from within (garp, koby), without (luffy, dragon), and everywhere in between (shanks, the boy that moon gramps ended)
This was fun. I've been watching more theories from this channel this week. I appreciate the thought and execution put into them.
I had a long week. I needed this. Thank you
Randy Troy at it again!!!
Late to the vid, but I love that you have your own subtitles really helps me take in the theory's easier
Right or wrong…we can not deny, Randy Troy is built DIFFERENT 😂!!!!! Good take.
Very time consuming process, but I love the added layer! Thanks!
Great theory as always. Love when Randy cooks.
I'd love an updated WCF collection video!
Randy blowing up with this one 🙏🔥🗣
Cerberus is one of the original and oldest Blackbeard theories and still my favorite!
I also had the idea of "person being petrified inside the poneglyph that's why they have voices and that's why blackbeard wants boa's fruit"
Loved the video and the theory about "Osiris's" story was awesome! and always a pleasure when gaimon comes into the theory.
the fact that Onigashima is a giant skull where Kaido lived in awaiting his return, and then fed the people smile fruits
Thanks
This was BRILLIANT. You are BRILLIANT. My jaw is still dropped after watching this. 😳 Thank you for your brain 🧠 😁😁😁
And thats why they have a VOICE"
Aight lets see if thats what this video is about or if I'm completely off my rocker
Edit: Ok I was on the right path but good lord this video is so good. GOOD SHIT RANDY
Love all of this
Great stuff.
yo randy just found your channel around a week ago been liking the vids keep it up
Appreciate that and will do!
You’re the best at this hands down
appreciate it, man!
Bro your subtitles look just like One Piece. Now that is fucking awesome.
I knew this one was a great one since the live where you guys discussed about it. This makes so much sense!!! Thanks as always Randy
As Oda approaches the end your analysis just continues to get even stronger. Last few videos have been absolutely nuts
Well just looked at the chapter and it seems its just in the anime, so it could just be a stretch to say it means anything, still interesting!
what a fun video! i love how you take some out there ideas and just run with them. always so fun to hear things id never even begin to consider, and you always bring up some really fascinating points too! cant express my appreciation for your videos enough, they're always just such a fun time to watch. also ty for the subtitles you put in, so much effort as always! W's all around
It's all about the fun! Thank you for all of that!!
Nico Robin.
Red like the sun, also Split in 4 like the RED line does for the 4 Blues in OP
bro really used the one piece font for subtitles
Used to work for the fansubs back in the day, so I love adding that extra touch when I can
...Not mentioning buggies awakened ability to split atoms😂
Man these theories are all so sick that I can't imagine the real reveal to be anything less than incredible.
Great watch Randy, well put together.
Dude, great work. This is all very plausible.
We’ve been waiting on this one!! Peak greatness
