Hey dude ! Greetings from Russia ! Also started to practice white water last winter, learned how to do back deck and sweep roll. So this is the summer of practicing on the water. Good luck in enhancing your ww skills 😊keep posting the videos )

HI, thanks for the reply and congrats on the roll, wow, just wow! I can sweep roll on flatwater as my lastest short shows (i had a go last saturday), not tried any other version, i can see me falling out of the kayak lol Have you managed a combat roll yet (moving water)? Thats where it gets me, being upside down, underwater, moving, bubbles all around, wondering if im going to clout my head on a block, so I end up rushing it and ultimately failing every single time, has to be at least 20 times too.
Good luck to you too and make sure you record everything on the water, it really helps to watch it back, mine have shown me where i go wrong and how to fix it :)

@@SubParPaddler Hey ! 👋 a couple of weeks ago went to practice on a river, the most surprising thing was that I failed all my sweep roll attempts on a flat water, only managed to roll up on the 2d or 3d attempt, but somehow in the moving water 5 of 7 loops were successful and rolled up on my first attempts (mostly because of fear I guess 😰) left the boat just two times . Such a pity there is no moving water close to me, always have to go 250km+ to practice

@@denissmirnov9720 Well done on your rolls, that is a shame youre so far away from moving water :( I have been very close to rolling on the run at Lee Valley but then close doesn't keep you dry lol
