Thank you for the good video . Will be ordering a cane soon for mobility (severe arthritis in both knees. 50+ in Martial Arts) and of course self defense. Love the video without background music !

Might be a bit overkill but making the palm rest shatterable under the force of a strike would be helpful. You could have a sharp pick underneath so your next strike can be more effective.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out! Palm rest is mainly to provide additional comfort and help to distribute weight more evenly across the hand and arm, reducing the risk of cane hand cramps. You can email us at info@canemasters.com if you need anything else.

I have not been watching your videos lately and just caught up today. I enjoyed the new style. The captions and pictures makes everything much more clearer and easy to follow. I purchased several canes ( including the Grand Master walking cane) from Master Shuey (perfect gentleman) over ten years ago at an event in Atlantic City New Jersey,
I pulled a calf muscle yesterday and decided to dust off some of my old canes and look into some new ones. I was sad to see your website does not offer any dvd and cane package deals ( I hope this is only temporary, due to the economy) any more. Please keep producing dvd's ( I accidently purchased some digital training videos from Martial Blade Concepts) and Master Janich (another gentleman) was very understanding and gave me a full refund. Unfortunately, he stated that he was moving away from producing DVD's due to the market. I'm older ( and a little stubborn ) and like to have a physical copy and don't want to rely on having internet access everywhere I go.
Keep up the good work. Looking at my old canes, they have truly held up and are beautiful.

How well secured are the palm rests really, if weight can be shifted on them? I don't doubt the claim at all, they're obviously well-built, just curious if the load weight has been determined.

John great question! Our Palm Rests are meant to load weight to allow you to distribute weight throughout the cane which will allow for comfort and better mobility. If you have additional questions you can reach out to us at 800-422-2263.
