come on people sub for this man! He is a hard working person who puts out so much good high quality content for us even though he's not even getting paid much. All it takes is just to ring that bell and click that check. Hope Tavarish reads this and knows that the squad's with him! Been here since the early dually era.
Dude, what you are doing to your S-Class is commendable. You're not a dumbass. I spent a weekend pulling my Audi's dash out two years ago and worked way into the night too, so I know the pain you're feeling now. But looking at the kit, I can see your pain is going to be worth it man. Keep the faith!
Some kind of frosted silver will help highlight the new details on the AMG bumper kit. Accompany that with some Vossen wheels and you've got yourself a winner!
I love cars and i ´m into them, but i now own only a motorcycle. I´m now so pumped to do some project with my bike after watching these episodes.. Love your content!
Can't wait to see it fully AMG'd up and plasti dipped. Although I recommend throwing at about 2 coats of glossifier on top of it, to give somewhat of a satin finish. I really do appreciate how much love you have for your W220. Proof that you don't have to drive brand new when you can buy a world class product for pennies on the dollar. You're a true enthusiast! Now bring on the finished product dude :D
+Tavarish I was cruising tirerack and came across this setup: Axis Model Two in matte graphite silver. 20x10 Rear, 40mm offset. It for some reason doesn't say the front fitment, however it can't be too far off if not the exact same.
You're a top guy Tavarish! It's great to see honest mistakes and bloopers! It happens to all us petrol/gear heads! We love messing with cars and this is what we are all about. Love the older Mercs and cars in general. Can't wait to see the finished car! Keep up the amazing videos
Hey, been watching your channel, and like your presentations. Keep the good stuff coming. Been a while since you've done some hands on stuff ! , I think we are all waiting to see how this AMG kit thing goes. As for myself, I love to see old stuff made good and new again...something nice about it. Drive myself a new Lexus NX, but keep an old 2005 GS around to be able to do some "spring" detailing... I know Lexus isn't the most exciting cars, but I'm getting older and been through all the exciting stuff...had a 1981 Carrera (turbo kit) when I was 20 years old....also 1974 911 Targa...3x944's, and ended my porsche period with a 1991 928 S4....believe it or not, I lived in Iceland owning all those p's.....I also had 1987 RX7, 1985 Nissan 3000ZX Targa and Toyota Supra 1987...and something called Nissan Silvia...rare but nice car at the time....For 2 months I had 1984 Corvette.....loved it, but it didn't really drive as well as all those japanese/german cars I had....I could go on and on with that list, since I was really changing cars every 2-3 months, and some cars just had for couple of weeks ! But had my GS for over 10 years now which is a record ! Anyway, like your honest approach. Good luck with the project :)
I have an 02 S430, my hood got jammed from a crash- my mechanic showed me how to open it with two people. One person holds to hood release lever while the other opens the hood. Give that a shot maybe use something to hold the lever open if you can't find a 2nd person
I got that advice from you and a few others, and it worked! Thanks! I forgot to install the helper spring when I put the new hood on, which was preventing it from popping up. I installed it and it's fine!
Looking good. I plasti dipped my truck last year. only had time to do two coats. I will be adding more in a couple months. Plasti dip is high maintenance though. I use spray wax weekly to help the finish. Also, I was at Dip con a few weeks back at their main headquarters in Coral Springs FL. Check out their Pro Line series. It can be wet sanded and buffed. Looks identical to a factory glossy mirror finish but it is peelable just like Plasti dip.
glad to hear it worked, cool project so far. Was considering doing some changes to mine, namely the headlights which I can hardly tell if they are on. This series is making me want to try it too
To release the bonnet, I would look for the two bonnet release cables that run along the inside of the top of the drivers side fender. Give that a hearty pull and it should open the bonnet. For wheels my favourite are the Mercedes "segin" style that were standard for the S600 but also AMG monoblocks, AMG style 3 and Brabus Monoblock are all good looking wheels. Also the multispokes from the latest W222 look awesome.
Big fan of you and specially this series. I have s500 2003 year. For the rims, if you like stock look, search for the original AMG wheels that they put in this car. If you like more modern looks search for 2008-2013 amg wheels. Good look, I'm following your channel!
Loved this episode, this is the reason I subbed, love to see you working on the merc/aston/dually etcetera, b for build and the jeep videos where ok'ish but not my type of episodes.
"Bought it in Miami, rode it to Cali Hit 150, through the Fernando Valley AMG down with the big gold grill Tach jumps when it's time to get ill" Sweeeeeeet.
@Tavarish bro put a set of twin turbo for the 2001 S500 paint it Mercedes Benz silver and put Alphard sl500 wheels on the S-Class and lower it a bit so the fittment of the wheel matches the body panel. I’ll watch this series like it’s the NEWS lol
Well, you learn something new all the time. It makes sense bumpers have different sorts of (flexible) fillers. Why is this the first time I hear about this? It would be still the best way to tackle a crack to plastic bits right?
Pull inside hood release lever up and hold it and then keep it held up while someone lifts up hood (pop spring probably not reinstalled yet on new hood - it happened to me too.)
Wow, i didnt know you needed the S55 hood too. I was going to do the AMG kit on my W220. Thanks for uploading. Oh yeah, my front end stays too high and sometimes my rear end is too low (its an Airmatic). I changed out all the air bags. You have any idea what it might be?
Did the AMG exhaust end up fitting on there? I can't seem to find any clarification if it just bolts on or not. I'm looking to do something similar with my s430.
I have a question please help me if you can I have a 2006 s500 w220 I'm going to do the same amg conversion body kit style. You Mentioned that the hood was a going to be an issue if I keep my old one what style hood did you put on yours car to fix the front gap between your bumper and the hood. Thanks again.
Never understood why this guy is dressing up a vehicle that's worth a couple of thousand bucks. Either way to each his own. At least he is enjoying himself.
Just found this channel, why things like this are never in my recomanded but some stupid shits are? Lol Anyway subscribed, looking forward to new videos.
this is the original monoblocks that comes with the w220 s55 amg face lift with the 5.4 supercharged engine i found this Ad and i know its near you good luck ! orlando.craigslist.org/wto/6078810803.html
Pimptobizmal I think the hood itself is just different from being from an 03 and up facelift car. it had a different grille design that creates a gap with the older bumpers
Hey bud I've been following u and subscribed to your channel I have the same car and baught the amg exhuast to do the same u did I also baught some nice rims chrome
There are days that I don't want to replace perfectly fine top-notch parts with poor fitting, battered parts, wrong colour and full of dents and scratches. The more since i don't see that much of a difference to the sideskirts and rear bumper. But hey - everyone his own hobby. I will be opening up my engine tomorrow, because the head failed - for the second time in a year :-(

Raj Singh you are the man.
Raj Singh been team tavarish since day one. hopefully this channel gets the subs it deserves 👊
I don't think I'll be tinting the windows, since I have sunshades in the rear.
Same here! Tavarish should review movies! His review of redline was perfect!
Cool project! These are such well built cars. Like your channel and hope you keep up the good work. Let's see that 944!
I love how Tavarish just does everyday stuff with his cars which I like. Keep up the good work!

I owned an 88 E30 325IS and sold it and bought an 01 S55 ,it’s the ultimate daily.

Glad to see your back working on the "Benz"! Can't wait for the next video!

This is looking great! Just whatever you do, please don't put an AMG badge on it
Samuel Abraham 😂
I wouldn't dream of it.
Glad to hear that haha
Yah you should put a Brabus badge on it lol😂
Tavarish put an Audi S-line badge lol
cant wait for another video, i am a sucker for before and afters and thought u put this on the back burner, glad to see you continue working on it

grampaflower I also have an 02 s430 , airmactic , just fixed my shocks and brakes , need help hit me yp
My fav Tavarish series .

Planning to do this and show some love to my s320 W220 and revive this old pal, great video man!
paint!!! no plastic dip.......
plasty dip is way better if you are doing it at home, if you fuck up you just peel it off and start over.
A new paint job would cost thousands of dollars. This would probably cost way more than what he paid for the car, so it's not really a viable choice.
It just looks so boy racer.... not really a look for such a car. If it were a civic then I would agree with it
Head on over to the DYC channel and check out those videos. Plenty of high end cars with plenty of PLASTI-dip on them.
first thing I did when I got my W211, bought the AMG bodykit, had it painted and professionally installed. Car looks mean now.
Big fan of you and specially this series. I have s500 2003 year. For the rims, if you like stock look, search for the original AMG wheels that they put in this car. If you like more modern looks search for 2008-2013 amg wheels. Good look, I'm following your channel!

You should take off the S500 badge, and put some 2011-style AMG wheels (maybe black or matte black). That would look sick
AMG monoblock wheels go old school
The stock W220 AMG Wheels from the factory look pretty bad ass IMO. If you could find those, paint them gunmetal or black.
Its coming along very nicely.
"Bought it in Miami, rode it to Cali
Hit 150, through the Fernando Valley
AMG down with the big gold grill
Tach jumps when it's time to get ill"
Sweeeeeeet.
Woahh. Porsche Cayenne????
Haha, I knew you guys would see it. It's not mine, but I wish it was.
man, you're a hard working guy i like it
Lookin good, can't wait to see the finished product!
Didn't know you were going for the 720s look lol
20 BRABUS MONOBLOCK RETRO 5's I think they are 2 pcs. Great Build BTW
Yaaay! Another ultimate daily driver episode....finally!
I have the Verde Parallax 20" on my S-Class and it looks great. They have a machined face with gloss black accents. They aren't too expensive either.
Well, you learn something new all the time. It makes sense bumpers have different sorts of (flexible) fillers. Why is this the first time I hear about this? It would be still the best way to tackle a crack to plastic bits right?
Mr. H. needs to finish something every now and then. Lots of projects waiting...
That's the idea.
good stuff not like other people on youtube you have different builds
S500 and Porsche Cayenne turbo. You sir, are the owner of the 2004 dream garage of any Armenian gangster. I shall add that I'm downright jealous.
hey bro, there should be two hex bolts holding the bonnet locks down. You should be able to remove them from under the bonnet
Pull inside hood release lever up and hold it and then keep it held up while someone lifts up hood (pop spring probably not reinstalled yet on new hood - it happened to me too.)
I love this build I just found this series like how it is quality not Haggard
This looks perfectly fine for Eastern Europe.
love your vids my man. I had a w220 s class myself. Great content and great cars.
if not it is a 20inch Savini SV39-M wheel that would be perfect for this. Keep up the great work. I'm following all of your projects.
About the cayenne turbo? did you go on craigslist again, i know it isnt the car you bought on vacation (i listened to the podcast)
It may be your distribution block or height sensors.
1st gen Cayenne Turbo? Nice buy!
You had me at in situ...
adrianbackpack geology term!
Love these build videos on your MERC. :)
Wow soo much work
Did the AMG exhaust end up fitting on there? I can't seem to find any clarification if it just bolts on or not. I'm looking to do something similar with my s430.
Would have been a good time for a new intro clip/vid. Some thing like what B is for Build has.
Would you consider the 5 spoke black AMG wheels from I believe either 2008 or 2010 on?
but seriously cool project!
What's your name? By the way I can't wait to see the project you disclosed in Matt farrah's podcast. That will be awesome!
My name is Freddy
Tavarish ✌️️ kudos on your jalop articles by the way👍
AMG MONO BLOCKS!!!!!
what about rims? Also debadge the s500 but leave the emblem
Get the ultimate SUV to go with the ultimate daily driver, a 03-05 G55 and wrench on that beast
Fifteen52's should go on!
Its possible modify the bumper with fiberglas for perfectly fit bumper with hood ? Or its necesary 100 per 100 change the hood ?
I have a question please help me if you can I have a 2006 s500 w220 I'm going to do the same amg conversion body kit style. You Mentioned that the hood was a going to be an issue if I keep my old one what style hood did you put on yours car to fix the front gap between your bumper and the hood. Thanks again.
This is old but If you had the 06...which is the facelift model..you don’t need to replace the hood..it’s a perfect fit for the amg bumper
Would I have to cut up the bumper kit if I don’t have an extra hood?
Never understood why this guy is dressing up a vehicle that's worth a couple of thousand bucks. Either way to each his own. At least he is enjoying himself.
Admit it. at 7:48 you waited for the fb msg to pop up!
Where did get your front bumper? Oem or aftermarket?
I just have one question...where is the follow up for this video
AMG monoblock rims painted black with a polished lip
Its so easy to find stuff in USA
Just found this channel, why things like this are never in my recomanded but some stupid shits are? Lol
Anyway subscribed, looking forward to new videos.
Why are you plastidipping it rather than painting it after you prep it???
put some AMG rims on it maybe the monoblocks
Man how do u get that front bumper off man I can not figure it out
AMG MAGS
Hi, what model of car lift do you use?
good work! i think you should just find a set of cheap used amg 18's (2005-2006) then powder coat them in a gun metal grey lol
this is the original monoblocks that comes with the w220 s55 amg face lift with the 5.4 supercharged engine
i found this Ad and i know its near you
good luck !
orlando.craigslist.org/wto/6078810803.html
Just go with the 18 inch chrome Amg wheels
Like your work nice
How is the hood with the amg package different then the non amg package?
Pimptobizmal I think the hood itself is just different from being from an 03 and up facelift car. it had a different grille design that creates a gap with the older bumpers
Thats interesting if the whole hood is different, if the grille was just longer, would it be possible to just replace that then the whole hood?
Dude what happened to the PowerStroke??
Dan Green it's outside.
Tavarish oh sweet! I'd love to see more videos with that behemoth!
How about some tint?
Can I put that body kit on a Mercedes Benz E320?
no, this is for an S Class. For an E Class, you want either a bodykit based on the E55 or E63 depending upon the year.
waiting for tinted windows
do you lik the vip style ?
Not particularly fond of it.
thanks for the reply what style of wheels are you feeling pulled towards?
Paint the car, the 5 double spoke Mercedes AMG wheels would look awesome, 19 or 20
Hey bud I've been following u and subscribed to your channel I have the same car and baught the amg exhuast to do the same u did I also baught some nice rims chrome
Apex rims!
stance it with bags!
please buy wheels from Vossen ✌👍👍
whats up with the cayenne?
There are days that I don't want to replace perfectly fine top-notch parts with poor fitting, battered parts, wrong colour and full of dents and scratches. The more since i don't see that much of a difference to the sideskirts and rear bumper.
But hey - everyone his own hobby.
I will be opening up my engine tomorrow, because the head failed - for the second time in a year :-(
