NintendoCat14 At least those games, up until the 3DS release, had silly plots with boss fights. Now it's nothing but puzzles.

It also annoys me that this one has the exact same title as the first. I the latest 3DS (One I actually kinda liked) dropped the VS between the names, calling it Mario *and* Donkey Kong. Why not call it this one "Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis March for U"

So...how is this still _Mario_ vs. _Donkey Kong_? I mean, this trailer shows neither Mario nor Donkey Kong, and the Donkey Kong Mini-thing is *helping* the Marios! They should just rename the games "Mini Versions of Mario and Donkey Kong Help Each Other Solve Puzzles."
I'm sure it's just a Beta name. They're probably going to change it when the game gets closer to release.
Mario Mastar True, they will probably give it a subtitle (knowing how creative Nintendo is nowadays, it'll probably be "U"), but it's the name of the series that they've had for the past ten or so years that bothers me.

Funnily enough, what REALLY bugs me name wise, is "Mario AND Donkey Kong: Minis on the move" implying that by now, Mario and DK are supposed to be partners now. (and in Minis March again, DK is apparently working as Quality Control at the Mini Mario factory). So what's the bout about?

It fascinate me how people are able to tell if a game is good or bad by a simple trailer today ! o_O They don't even need to play it ! Wow !
Remember 3D World ? Everyone said it looked bad, it ended up being an amazing game alone or with friends & family.
Now, if only we could get one of my all time favourites from the snes era out on wii u either as a new game or on the virtual console.... Mr Nutz!!!!
Sweet! I logged so much time on March of the Minis, glad to see another 2D MvDK. Didn't give the 3DS one a try though :(
For those not in the know, this was based off the Nintendo Web Framework demo that they showed off at the Game Developer's Conference this year.
So this would technically be Nintendo's first game created with it, since they've created various apps like Wii Street U with the NWF. Quite a landmark achievement too as Nintendo decides to create the game with tools we can access ourselves, such as Javascript and HTML5.

They should really rename this series 'Mini Toy Escort Mission'.
I hope this game is released very soon. Discontinuation of Wi-Fi connection leaves me unable to download user-made puzzles on Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem and I love this series to death.

After WFC shutdown, there wasn't an alternative for sharing MVsDK levels, so this is good.

It's the same exact game again. I wish they went back to the gameplay style of the first Mario vs Donkey Kong on the GBA. That was actually fun.
I like the way Nintendo made a mini Luigi so people would stop criticizing on Mario (Mario is my favorite character) because he always has everything.

As much as I love this series, I really wish they would return to the original platforming style of the first games or at least mix them both together. Donkey Kong '94 and Mario vs. Donkey Kong 1 are the best puzzle games ever created, and I mean that.

I think this kinda game would suit perfectly as an app for a smartphone or tablet, that would give nintendo a push and help them gain popularity while focusing on more elaborated games for its consoles, don't get me wrong the game looks fun I just wish there were plans for bigger titles for Wii U

***** You could just buy Donkey Kong 94 on the eShop, since Nintendo put it out there. It's been there since 2011. And Mario vs Donkey GBA was a cool game, but you shouldn't mock the new directions game go into.

Yeahing awaits! I'm surprised that I just now watched thins trailer. I'm just trying to keep a more open mmd, since I'm not too into strategy or puzzle related games(excluding platformers & Zelda) but I'm trying to start with Fire Emblem: Awakening, S.T.E.A.M., and/or Captain Toad, to give it a fair chance.
I actually like the puzzle aspect to the series. Although I would like a sequel or remake of the GBA game, I like to use my brain to solve puzzles.
