So so sad it comes out in october instead of summer.. Amazing it will be a better game over all for the extra time but this wait is painful.. so painful =(

Both versions of Smash Bros look simply amazing. I'm hoping to get both versions. All I need to do now is hope that I can get hired to mow someone's lawn.

I really like how from 0:07 to 0:09 is a blatant reference to the Intensity level select from Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Kind of odd that Smashwiki still hasn't include that the Tip section is "Next Tip" in the final game, whereas in this trailer is "Keep reading"
And there's no "Disabled" wordmark on the bottom screen in the final version as well if you cut the wireless feature.

Not a big fan of the Kid Icarus Uprising money mechanic. But hey, I will buy both versions anyway. lol

So glad I got a 3DS this Summer (And I'm getting a WiiU this month!) Smash! Here I come!
This game moves surprisingly smooth as a whistle
My major plus is that you can get rid of the outline. I don't mind it too much, it certainly is useful for highlighting details like in Pokémon X and Y and making it easier to pinpoint your character but I sometimes find it to be a bit of an eyesore. Definitely going to try and learn Greninja, Little Mac, and get better with Kirby.

This version is starting to look more and more polished and better by the second. Too bad once the Wii U version is out...people will stop playing this version.

Oh don't worry there are plenty of people that have 3DS and not Wii U (such as myself) and even though Mario Kart 8 is out, I still race online with plenty of people on Mario Kart 7 =)
I doubt they´d stop, but I personally am going to save up and wait for the WiiU version.
they're basically the same game, and a lost of people who own a 3ds don't own a wiiU and you can play this game anywhere! :3 so most likely not :3

Way better offline replay value than brawl definitely.
But brawl also had a lot of content...it's just this one has even more.
gamer39985 When wifi was cut off I tried playing brawl's solo modes. I played a couple dozen matches with the cpu. I got bored very easily. For some reason I had a lot more fun with melee offline. I guess I wasn't spoiled with playing with actual people back then. Sm4sh looks like I can have a blast even If I have no online modes.

The soundtrack will probably be epic, but due to 3ds cartridge space limitations the Wii U version will have a much larger soundtrack.

From what I've seen so far, a lot of new stages look very simple and only seem to be a single platform. I thought we'd evolved beyond the days of the N64...
This option is called For-Glory mode. It's a competitive thing in Smash, it might be a little bit more hard to explain to you though.

TheS2Guy, it has been said that the 3DS version of the game, will have more but simple kind of stages, but on the wii U the stages are more focused on the events around the stage and the moving part! Please don't whine when you don't even know that.. please research more next time, hopefully you will be more exited for the game, like I am :)

No story mode, no buy. Doesn't matter how many silly arcade modes they put in, if we don't get to see the charming interactions between Nintendo characters within a story, then what's the point of playing?
that was only in one game, and the gameplay is the point of buying a fighting game. nobody buys street fighter for the story, and subspace emmisary was anything but charming. the characters were blank slates not representative of the characters' personalities from the games (other than one time DK wants bananas or something?)

Let's be honest. Unless you're a hardcore player, this is what will happen when you buy this game:
1.Get overexcited by release hype, buy it day 1
2.Play some matches with your friends a few times
3.Try all the gimmicky different modes once
4.Realize they are all boring, shelve the game for eternity

I'm glad we get the option to choose whether we have the outlines enabled or not. They really bugged me right from the start so unless it is hard to keep tabs on stuff without outlines I'll probably turn em off.

It's probably just the last battle of Classic Mode, like it was in Brawl. (and probably Melee. I wouldn't know, I've only played Brawl).
