Animated Lifestyle They been canceled.
Animated Lifestyle Doesn't mean the jessica and Simon pack since they haven't said anything at all on it so it's very likely it was cancelled during production since we never even gotten a photo or promo shot of them so it's obviously cancelled. Also I know that since they said they will release two packs like we are getting the super sons pack and death of superman pack. Also still getting single release characters like we got the fourth wave fully finished thanks to static being released even now the fifth wave full released. Also we're still getting nightwing released who is suppose to be a character for the six wave so who knows if the whole wave will be released along with the other wave after that and the cancelled two packs. So we never know since DC collectibles have been in a big of a slippery slop on the icon figures they started good last year now they been having issues even now with inconsistency like Anthony is pointing out with the paint.
Try heating up the diaphragm joint with a hairdryer and then working it. There's a surprising amount of movement (just tried with Batman from the 7 pack).
I like that they're sculpted by different people. I wouldn't want the same looking figures.
It was supposed to be a New 52 style 7-pack. When the New 52 ended and Rebirth began they announced they were changing the style of the figures. It definitely feels rushed.
I prefer New 52 Aquaman to this one he looks bland and boring.
Cyborg is the only figure from this 7 pack that isn't up-scaled...he is exactly the same as his single carded version, just without the add-on accessories...
I think you're right, although its kinda hard to tell even in side-by-side shots...
I'm pretty sure the reason for the different style is because it's based off of the artist of the each characters' individual comic series.
Here's the thing I buy DC Icons to mix and match with other DC lines to get the best versions and a perfect Justice League. I'm going to buy this pack and idk what I'm going to do with Aquaman (to me he's the worst figure in the set especially since I have the gold DCUC Aquaman and to me that's the definitive Aquaman) Wonder Woman is going in my display.
Glad I passed on this 7 pack especially now since Batman will be getting a single card release, hopefully Flash will as well.

I got a question here, after watching some toys videos, I saw a lot of high tech toys, like star war bb8, drones, cars can drive both in water and land..... I think those are awesome. After checking prices, a lot of them have almost the same price as action figures. I don't know if I should buy those figures, for I don't know if they worth it, they are accurate and detailed that's true, but I am still confused.......are figure prices high due to advertisement..
Wonder Woman is just a slightly upscaled copy of the smaller single pack figure they just released (so is Green Lantern, i think). Those little peg holes in her hair are for the straps that the other figure comes with. I have this set and like these figures, but yeah the proportions are really off with some.
I think the New 52 7 pack they did a few years back was a better sell. They were all sculpted to look like Jim Lee's Justice League Origin style and they all fit together beautifully. (I'll always love how the Batman from that set had flat grey for his whole suit, then some super shiny glossy black for the cowl and boots, very striking and very cool.)
I wish these DC icons figures are more on scale with each other and compatible with the Marvel Legends in term of scale.
Ryan Tran A lot of lines are incompatible with Legends. Hell, even SW Black Series doesn't scale with Legends and both are Hasbro's flagship lines. Icons is closer to true 1/12 scale, much like Figuarts. Marvel Legends are generally over scaled and usually scale better with some 7 inch properties than other 6 inch lines.
I've found that's mostly a Hasbro generation problem. The head size usually gives it away, especially with the females. Spider-Woman's head is enormous compared to Toybiz Elektra, for instance. But yeah, I guess the problem is that she's just made too big for 6 inch scale anyway as the proportions could look good if just scaled down
So far they have released the Superman and Batman in single packs. Thank god they made them a little taller finally.

I just cant seem to find the perfect batman figure to buy.. All of them have an odd look, messed up cape, or limited movement.. I guess ill just continue to wait.. One day they should make a good trinity set..
Honestly I think the dcuc Batman is the best one so far. Not to say it’s the greatest figure to date but I’m really impressed on the figures range of motion and it looks clean. I’m talking about the one that uses the “crime stopper” Batman mold / all star Batman mold
Im sure you know this, originally it was suppose to be a New 52, and the set was already complete, but they decide to do a rebirth pack, and I felt this set was rushed out.
Nice review Anthony!!! This set doesn't interest me personally but like you said for the price it's not bad. I do like the Batman figure but I believe he's getting a single card release...

I’m upset their are no accessorize especially for aquaman and Wonder Woman. Like aquaman has no trident and wonder woman doesn’t have her shield or sword
All of them should have came with accessories & the flash should have been crimson red like that Alex ROSS version

The upscale started in wave 4 not in this pack. Firestorm and John Stewart are the best examples of this.

I got the feeling that those are more like good toys than action figures, made to cash on the movie release rather than to please collectors. And could be something of a 'starter kit' for young teenager collectors.
As such I'd say it's a great buy but definitely a pass for adult collectors.
Great review, Anthony. I think I'm going to pass on this set now. The figures are at best going to posed in a very neutral stance, and there are already a few Justice League figure sets made specifically for that.

I wish they'd put out a decently articulated Batman that has comic styling. Guess I'll have to just keep hoping one of the Japanese import companies eventually decides to stop making movie figures.

AnthonysCustoms The new NECA looks pretty cool, though the face and cowl are a bit much. Still, they're in that weird 7" scale instead of 6", which is disappointing but that's NECA.
FuzzMD They'll probably break as soon as you take 'em out of the box. Classic NECA fragile plastic.

Great review , I don't have this set but plan to get it very soon. However why do you continue Anthoy to complain and moan about shading and paint jobs on the figures from DC Icons or DC Collectibles Anthony? Their action figures for goodness sakes they are not the same quality as Hot Toys Figures what do you expect? They where designed to look like their DC Rebirth Comic counterparts like most DC Comics comic based figures are. Sometimes the shading is not prefect it does not mean they are all bad. I think these figures based on other reviews I read'ed are great but to each his own. Again not disliking your review but please don't complain so much on shading for figures it's not a big deal

David Marrero Jay c as well as some other toy review (idr his name) said they talked to DC directly and were told no accessories but I hope that changes
change023 I watched Jay C's videos he said no such thing in that such he said he isn't sure if they will have an accessories or what type of accessories it will have but he will keep us posted on any developments. Also who ever is the other reviewer you speaking off you have to remember one person from Dc collectibles can say something else then another employee or representative since Jay C even clarified that during him interviewing people at Toyfair while a different person said something else to Pixel Dan on his channel. Which Jay C said when you're dealing with companies even during conventions you have a limited amount of time or different representatives and employees give you different answers at once of a question due to having miscommunications in the company and different stuff. So it's best wait til we get more info from San Diego Comic Con since it's coming in the next few months and so we should get a clearer answer on this
