The prototype models for the shoulders on the homecoming spideys looked way better than the final release. But I was still happy with the figure, it sits proudly on my shelf.

You could go the easy route and do classic Spidey NOIR. He doesn't have the trenchcoat in his original outfit.

The Spidey in the two pack with MJ is the Worldwide Spidey, in which Peter Parker is the big boss of Parker Industries. The logo and the eyes light up a green color in the comics, and the boots have an upward slant and ... yeah. I think the costume is shiny and metallic too, at least from the Alex Ross art.
I also recently picked up the new Star Lord with the short red jacket. The face sculpt on it is actually THE BEST one to date, and it DOES look like Chris Pratt, way way more than the other two Star Lord figures. Just a FYI/PSA
So many awesome figures, especially from NECA. That 1/4 Daredevil and Captain America are must buys.

Cool, if you check out the Hasbro interview they give a good explanation for the Mantis to be the baf. There are at least 4 more waves, 3x2 packs the 6 pack A-Force, and whatever is due for the SDCC, that makes it about 50 figures by August. start saving!

Im looking forward to the Frieza figure, i never got the Figurarts one so this is a great looking substitute. I just wish Marvel Legends would do a Spider Punk figure since they did UK spidey.
I've never been into NECA, due to their lack of funtional articulation, but their vs line seems too tempting to pass up. I really want the armored Batman and Superman.
The starlord you said about having bad likeness with the long coat is not movie based but the all new all different Starlord look in the comics but sometimes Marvel base their characters in the MCU design for synergy and wider audience appeal

the Spider-Man with the glowing chest is the all new all different or current Marvel now version. his suit is basically armor and has glowing eyes and spider symbol.
The DCC Joker is a single figure, it will have interchangable arms and treanch coat ;)

Nice, I'll definitely be getting the Netflix Punisher, and the Arbiter figure at least. Maybe some of the other Halo figures if they're good enough. I'll probably wait for your review though.

The pelvis/hips on the ANAD Spider-Man ( the one that comes with MJ) are different than the ones on the other figs that use the Pizza Spidey mold.
Hasbro just might have given us the leg articulation that we wanted with Pizza Spidey.
The Vulture from the two-pack is the Ultimate version btw.

I'm loving the NECA DC stuff, love that they're making comic versions of characters in the "6.75 / 7" scale. Def want all 3 sets. With me having 6 Mezco's One:12's- I know Mezco Netflix Daredevil will be better but I don't wanna double up with characters with that price point and limited display space so I'm sorta conflicted about the Netflix Marvel Legends, I still like getting certain characters but I have low expectations and after taking a few pic- I don't really display ML's besides Deadpool for too long and don't feel too bad about just storing ML's I wanna keep.
Anthony, I think the Vulture and Spidey 2-pack are Universe figures. They don't have torso articulation. And THANK YOU Anthony for shitting on the Nebula figure. No one else seems to be.
there is a vulture/spider-man 2 pack but it is not this. this is 6" and they do have torso articulation.
I think you're right. They do look like they have ab crunches. I was thinking of the 3.75" Homecoming Vulture + Spidey 2-pack. Didn't see this comic Vulture on the displays. Were they only shown during the panel? Where can I find a video of the panel? :( Nobody did a live panel coverage like they usually do :o

Ok, I'm kind of pissed when they are re-releasing the MMPWR figures again right after I already collected 4 of them (red, green, pink & blue). So there's no hope for the separate weapon pack unless I have to pay another $20 each just to get the weapon?

Great video. You may not have attended the show but your recap is a lot better than some of the videos of people that attended. Your spot on again with your DC comments. It seems like REALLY good figures take forever to get. You have to go through waves of weak figures before the good one shows up. I've been burned a few times on that Multiverse line. I really love Doomsday but I had to buy 6 sub par even lame figures to get him. And the Killer Croc wave. I wont even go there. One more comment. NECA looks like they NAILED it again!! I recently got the Ultimate Freddy Nightmare lll and Ult. Jason Friday 13th lll. Those figures were unbelievable. The detail was awesome. The articulation was great. The accessories were numerous and really cool. When I saw that Armored Batman and Reg. Batman I was in shock. I HOPE Neca will throw their hat in the pile of Marvel figures. Neca's quality and attention to detail is second to none. They are really amazing. Anyway THANK YOU for the sneak peak. There's a lot to look forward to. I have a couple of figures I will buy multiples of. Batman is one, Spider-Man is two. His rogue gallery is awesome too. My point though is these new MCU movie line looks great. I HOPE they have a couple of Spidey with wicked articulation. Like the ones you showed in your Top Spideys. The McFarlane one comes to mind. And I'm really curious about the Vulture movie figure. Your right in that the one stand alone figure differs from the one by the BAF wings. Will the wings connect to both figures? Just one? Either way they look fantastic. Thanks again. Your videos REALLY help in determining what I buy. Your help is awesome.

Correct me if I'm wrong but did you include Mattels offerings. I know they weren't the best but just wanted to know your thoughts. They had a few new figures that are steps in the right direction in their DC line.

I'm liking those DBZ figures. Not sure why you are saying they look bad in the heads sculpts. Looks like the characters to me in plastic form. They are cartoon characters after all....it's not like there needs to be some unparalleled likeness to an actor or anything. Added that despite the Ml and SW Figuarts hide the articulation rather well in the confines of the sculpt (ball hinges for elbows and knees just make them look as such) but the DBZ Figuarts articulation system, especially the newer ones, in my opinion are horrifically ugly. Added to the fact that late comers to that line will be paying upwards of $100-$150 and beyond for certain figures in the line makes it an easy pass for sure. Now if they had real domestic distribution years ago rather than just recently...the Figuarts may of had a larger appeal to domestic collectors that don't spend a big deal of time of social media/ forums/ and online shops(which actually makes larger percentile of the community, which already is niche as it gets). For me, they seem to work just fine and gives a level adequate articulation while looking faithful to the source material. One is also a $20 figure while the other is an import that is 3-4 times the price after shipping and customs. Don't be jaded by bias. With DBZ having a long roster of characters, import companies are just way beyond expensive to ever see a real level of variety....which even the Figuarts still has yet to release a lot of staple characters. At $20, it's easier to churn these suckers out.

AnthonysCustoms I hope so. I really want it, but no way I can justify dropping $120 (I'm assuming) on a set that isn't a Con exclusive. Maybe when it's in the $60-$70 range I can pull the trigger. I really want that Sif though. Especially since she's built around that fantastic Angela mold.
TEC I just wish the initial reports had been true and Squirrel-Girl was in this set. :( Oh well, maybe next year.
