DC Icons Justice League 7-Pack 6" Rebirth Batman Figure Review

- Today I take a look at the upcoming DC Icons Rebirth 6" Batman figure from DC Collectibles. This figure is part of a Justice League 7-pack set for release on 3/22. This figure is probably my favorite in the set. The figure stands a little under 6.5" tall and matches up nicely with the Superman figure that is also included. This figure is much taller than the previous Icon Batman figure that was released. The only downside to the figure is that it doesn't come with any accessories and it has two closed fists. So even if you have other batman related accessories from previous figures, this one won't be able to hold any of them. It would have been nice if the figure had at least one grip hand. Otherwise the figure sports a nice sculpt and solid paint applications.

What an awesome design for Batman
The Batman figure looks down right amazing, but if I wanted a figure that is stuck with fists I would buy a Mattel one.
Anyway, this is probably my favorite Batman costume since the Neal Adams one. I love the yellow around the bat symbol.
The first DC Icon's Batman was a portrayal of Dick Grayson as Batman from the story, "Last Rites"; not Bruce Wayne. This is why he is smaller but still in scale.
Wish the Bat was larger on his chest.

While older Icons--mainly the first wave or so--will appear off, you can't fault DC House for actually listening to the cry of collectors to upsize. They are indeed Legends compatible now. We made the monster and have to live with it, for good or bad. If the line actually thrives after this change, there's always the chance they'll go back to the well and upsize or completely redo the rest. Yeah it will mean rebuying figures we already have, but how many Batman figures do most collectors own? Yeah, lots.

I'm not really interested in the Rebirth designs, but for what it is, its a pretty good figure overall.
Best figure out of the line, best Batman figure! BUT WHY THE HELL IS BATMAN TALLER THAN THE Blue Boy Scout!
They about the same height. The tips of Batman's mask give Batman a little edge but I believe that is pretty comic book accurate.

The scale is finally where I wanted these figures to be, I hope Nightwing is similar (just a tad shorter) than this Batman and I think it will be the definitive Nightwing figure. I pray that we eventually get a Batman Beyond figure from the Icons line. And for the love of all that is holy THIGH CUT ROTATION ON THE LEGS PLEASE the Grail with Darkseid had it and the DC Bombshells Harley had it and for that reason alone I think they're both in my top 5 of the entire Icons line. That's just a personal opinion though
Eric Matthew Ramirez Bombshells Harley isn't an Icons figure though. They definitely use the new Icons style of articulation but they're still 7" Designer series figures.

My only gripes for the Single Pack release version as of late is the LACK OF ACCESSORIES. I'm mean, Superigirl & Nightwing Icons have weapons and extra hands.. For a SIDE KICK character. But this Rebirth Icons Batman in Singles? NONE. No accessories for a lead DC character.
The purple on the cape should be lighter...its barely visible, or maybe its the lighting...otherwise a good looking figure.
I'm going to have to eBay this if they don't release it individually.

Hey Jay C! Will these figures be sold individually any time soon? I really don't care for the Superman, Aquaman and Green Lantern (which I already have). I really want the Batman, Cyborg and WW. though.

I like the new 52 Wonder Woman version better.
What's up with the frowny face? This must be taken from Greg Capullo. All those Capullo Batman figures have the frowny mouth. I think it just looks ridiculous. A stern/scowling mouth would look so much better. But other than that..lovely figure. It's amazing how much larger it is than the 1st release; even though I know that one isn't Bruce Wayne. But the first one in comparison looks like a 10-year-old.

How is it in size proportion to the DC Collectable greg capullo-based New 52 batman figures?
Timothy Brown smaller overall. Shorter by like half an inch and the frame is definitely thinner.

the arms of batman its little bit short
+Gotham Savior yes they actually are. His legs are to long. His arms aren't to short per say but his legs are way to long especially in his upper thigh area. All of them are not proportioned properly. Wonder Woman looks like a weird stretched out monster.

So far my favourite is superman then green lantern then batman and last is Wonder Woman,8i just don't like her head sculpt,but I also don't like batman head sculpt I know it's supposed to be Greg capullo art but in my opinion I dont really like this headsculpt and tbh it doesn't really match his art.

big improvements to the icons figures with this pack... just too bad about the lack of accessories, at least give us a few essentials like wonder woman's shield/sword. Now, if they are going to do single carded versions with more stuff, that's great, but please announce that before we all buy this?
I hope they release these separately, because the Batman is great but that Superman not so much...

Let me get this right.. in order to appeal to people not buying this line of figures, DC is enlarging the scale so they don't fit with the 30 something figures (close to $1000 customer investment) they already released. Don't those whining cherry pickers have enough versions of Batman to keep them happy?

I appreciate the height increase but this pack is so disappointing....poor body mould for GL, oversized WW, no trident for AC and who the fu*k runs with their fist closed...forcing collectors to buy those acc. packs............ bad business DC collectibles
Shonok Rohan I like the GL body mold. WW is the tallest character in some renditions. Aquaman doesn't always use his trident and we'll I get the thing about the flash but i have the previous one soooo doesn't bother me lol
Shonok Rohan hey you realize how cheap it is for this pack. Plus DC Icons are about the cost of Marvel Legends and they almost always have multiple hands and accessories.
I hate the head sculpt on the figure. If his nose is sticking out his lips would not be flush with nose.

That's you opinion and welcome to it, but I would totally disagree. This is a great looking Batman figure.
No man Jay C just look at the comparison shot you made with the previous DC icons Batman, check the height from the feet to the knee they're the same! Looks like the whole size up was made on the thighs. That seems the issue that's throwing the proportions off! And this was the only figure I wanted from this pack...

I do Chumungus97 in fact take the 2 of the batman and aligned their heads and you'll see they are the same length from the head to the belt and then the legs are way longer on the new one.
