As soon as I hit $20 , I’m cashing out . Not leaving money in there because of this reason

. Same here. Well....usually do that. I did have $200 built up that I used as a credit card gift card and spent it on my kid taking her to the Rolling Stones concert in 2019.

I see a lot of accounts starting to get deactivated soon because of shady stuff. One creator I used to follow for CVS couponing always did so much shady stuff I stopped following them because I wasn’t going to do all the stuff they did so their videos weren’t helpful. Well now this creator has started doing Walmart rebate videos and is doing the same shady stuff. They have a lot of followers too and probably a lot if new couponers trying to learn and going to learn the shady things they are doing in their videos and end up deactivated. I just don’t understand…if you are going to blatantly violate the terms of all the apps why would you want to do it publicly for everyone to see lol
Exactly! It irks me off to no end when I see people do this and then tell other people who are new. This is why it is harder to use paper coupons because people abusing the system. The deals are good enough that you don’t have to cheat the system.
@@harrisonrose9110 exactly and most likely one day using the rebate apps will start to get more and more difficult too once they get fed up with all the people abusing that too

I was trying to comment yesterday about locked accounts because some people promote getting rebates when they've used coupons and they weren't supposed to. Oh well.
I have gotten rebates back on Ibotta when using coupons were involved as well, BUT is was where I have my local grocery store account linked, and it just automatically picks them up after purchase. I don't know if it looks at store coupons/discounts differently or not.
Exactly why they do audits…because so many people break the rules.

Mine was locked a couple months ago, and they said it was just a random audit without any trigger. Emailed as soon as I found out and received a response the next morning saying there was nothing found and my earnings were unlocked. Super simple process as long as you choose the right reason for your ticket on the support form

No, I wouldn’t recommend that at all. They unlock it as long as you follow their terms. It’s just a routine thing that they end up resolving.
Ibotta on my last deal missed over $20 cash back on mine. I contacted them and she said she'd work on it. She needs to work a bit faster.

Oh yes! I cash out as soon as I reach $20. You never know what might happen with rebate apps and such.

Take $$ out immediately when I first started I was using it like a savings account for Christmas...Dec 1st they locked me out until a week before Christmas ugh

Thought I was locked out a few days ago. Went to cash out and got a message saying ‘gift cards unavailable until 3 PM ?!? Best believe once 3 came, I cashed out for my Walmart gift card! Not sure if I was actually locked out or if was just something on their end but wasn’t going to take any chances 😂

They locked my account because I folded a receipt to get rid of the survey that was on it they said that was manipulating the receipt so they locked my account for 10 days and did an audit and then they unlocked it
I got that on a receipt also, I didn't get locked out, but it did say "your receipt was manipulated". There was nothing wrong with it. I emailed them, and they gave the money the next day.
