Very good list! Sugar needs to be seen! I’ve watched it because Slow Horses is a very good show on Apple TV, expecting something similar. Oh boy was I wrong, in a good way. Let’s hope Sugar gets a 2nd season.

Season 4 was def a major letdown, while still worth watching if you're a fan imo. The exaggerated sexual theme seemed forced and awkward, more like a raunchy comedy. The painstakingly long gay romance arc the first half of it was completely misplaced and pointless. Did pick up a bit at the end though.
I know, I said this in another video. I have a love hate with miniseries. I love that’s it’s got a full arc that wraps up most of the plot lines but always wish there was more!

You describe The Boys very well, to me it seems like this defines what a real-life world with people who have extraordinary powers would be like. I enjoyed Outer Range as well, sad to hear they've canceled the next season of it. I'll add some for folks that have never seen it, Rome on Max is richly done and excellent, Deadwood not bad either. For the weird, there's Penny Dreadful, sexy and vampires/werewolves/more in a turn of the century setting. IF you want something truly smart, slick, with satisfyingly complex espionage angles and some pretty damn good humor, The Diplomat in Netflix is at the top of the list. Just so well done, so well acted, excellent dialogue, plenty of interesting characters with interesting complexities while all being utterly plausible and realistic. Can NOT recommend this series more, AND season 2 will be dropping in the next few months I've read.
To me, regarding Outer Range, as soon as they introduced multiverse and not just time travelling, I think they fell into trouble as to where to go next. Well! That's my opinion.

Do you throw away a piece of pizza because you only got 1 slice? and yeah you are probably still hungry after 1 and wish you had more. No you enjoy the slice you get, so enjoy what you get rather than complaining about what ya don’t.
I would say LOTR but purely guessing for you. For me, I can say I really try to give most titles the benefit of the doubt but the LOTR show was honestly hard to watch. It looks beautiful and that’s about the end of my compliments for it, it just felt slow and nothing really happening

Then it cut to the other guy, and I realised it wasn't focusing on her as the main character, as though we were in game, we were jumping around like every other series. Then it just fell apart rapidly once she got out. I ran out of steam half way through episode 5, thinking "f-this".. LOTR, I was trying to watch a few episodes, but I had just come off Fallout, so was already pissed. Episode 1 just dragged. I kept pausing and thinking " how ? How has it only been a few more minutes ?". I gave up 45 - 50 mins in.
I agree the bear at times can be repetitive to brothers or whoever they are going back-and-forth repeating the same lines over and over and over and over and over and over and over again it’s too much the writers need to back off. It made me not want to watch the series, Tony, some get back to the cooking and the dishes and the relationships. The screaming and hollering is starting to get a little bit too much much.
Great list, but I cant agree with The Bear. Its probably the most annoying show ever. The constant shouting, aggresive, vulgar, chaos throughout the series. These ppl should just sit down and talk for once.
I can understand how all of that would bother you, but to not see the beauty in the writing and the character development. Cinematography is phenomenal as well. Very chaotic, but I think that’s why some people love it so much
I feel like they do that intentionally to replicate the kitchen industry which is a lot of shouting, aggressive, vulgar and chaotic. But it’s definitely not for everyone and glad you liked the other options!

So I am not sure if that is a bad thing or if you just do not understand what a protagonist is ⬆⬆⬆⬆. But the absolutely main protagonist of House of the Dragon, Evil, Hacks, Fallout is a female and then every other show except maybe Mayor of Kingstown has a female protagonist. The Boys has gone far too woke lately. The show can be entertaining. Especially for those who like kinky weird stuff with extreme violence. It takes what is going on today and exaggerates it to the point of being ridiculous.

season 4 was a bigger dumpster fire than season 3. I quit.
I thought so too, not everyone seems to agree but I’m keeping on with the absurdity, the crazy characters and the cool look at a world with supes.
