Welcome to the fabulous world of Home Free! These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre including R&B. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there with a 5 octave range & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound.
Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won in 2013 & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song. Most new reactors start out with "Man Of Constant Sorrow".

I must say you are one of the most amusing reactors I’ve seen! Nice to have some liveliness. For you - I make an exception to singing along. You were obviously feeling the music! There are some snippets of songs they’ve recorded on their phones in parking garages. “Your Man” was released last week. Sea Shanty medly is fun - there is a professional live one and a pandemic era video - I recommend both.

Oh, goddess what have they done that wasn't the best. Home Free has a huge library of UA-cam videos, some what I call produced, like this one, some numbers from concerts either recorded by their crew or by audience members. They can be serious like here, and they can be almost pants wetting funny. For so many of us our first Home Free video just happens to be Man of Constant Sorrow. Hillbilly Bone is a good one. Their baritone Chance was hired to write a song for a video game called Skull and Bones and their live video for that one is amazing. their video for Honey I'm Good takes after Groundhog Day; for Working For a Living takes after Anchorman. Their Guilty Pleasures and Drum Solo are live numbers with several slightly different versions. Tim Foust their bass singer wrote the song Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget and the video is a lot of fun. That should get you started with a fabulous group.

@@TociReacts I just now realized that I gave you wrong information on Home Free videos (got their music going over breakfast). The one I was thinking of with the great live video is Sea Shanty Medley. Skull and Bones has 3 videos. The first was the live introduction in a small venue with I guess UbiSoft patrons or execs as the audience. Chance plays guitar and Austin the mandolin, one of maybe three songs with just the five that isn't a cappella. Born in the USA and Devil Went Down to Georgia (no video) if I remember right. #2 is scrolling the lyrics over scenes from the games. #3 is a wonderful video length movie with a great story, end credits and all.

I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob Lundquist who nailed it!❤ What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads Austin Brown ( leave the group and replaced by Adam Bastien, called Bastien), fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline (Tim Foust in the front left and Adam Chance, called Chance in the back right) and the inhuman vocal percussion from Adam Rupp that's makes it

Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks while they were scattered across the country. God bless ‘em.
All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He’s a world-class vocal percussionist and there’re good reasons he’s called a “Freak of Nature” and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam’s incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete’s sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain’t Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (sleigh bells? seriously?) or his drum solos.

Adam Bastien stepped into Austin’s tenor spot in June 2024. He’s currently on tour with HF, but we haven’t had a chance to see him in any videos yet. Home Free introduced him right, though. He debuted at the Grand Ole Opry with the Home Free men on June 22, 2024.
So, yeah. Three of the five members of Home Free are named Adam. You’ll hear them referred to as “Chance,” “Bastien,” and “Rupp.” If they’re just using the name Adam, they're talking about Adam Rupp, vocal percussionist extraordinaire.

And God help you when you get hit with the Home Free Curse. They’ll cover a song you absolutely cannot stand and make you like it against your will. I’d been hit by the curse four times before I gave up and quit counting. I’m not the only victim of the Home Free Curse, either.
Although their covers are amazing, don’t miss their original compositions. They range from the the poignant (So Long Dixie) to the patriotic (Land Of the Free). Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. They are all good but Man of Constant Sorrow is pure talent, Listen to the Music or One Man Band.... Can't go wrong with anything they sing.
HF has done a few TikToks in parking garages and shower stalls to take advantage of the reverb - but I don't think EofTR is one of them.
You are not the first person to call HF's music ear candy. And it really is.
Tim can do runs form the lowest of the low clear up through his falsetto. He has a 5 octave range. They all can do magnificent runs.
Any good ones?!?!? they have nearly 200 official videos and they are all fine. What to recommend depends on what you like to listen to - country, sacred, R&B, 60s/70s rock, classic country, newer rock/country, funny, covers, originals, take your pick.
