I love their rendition of this song - the harmonies, Adam's crazy beatboxing, Rob's "blue-eyed soul" - all of it. If you haven't seen the video of Home Free & Texas Hill singing "Dreamer", Rob's just terrific in it. He also sings lead on "Spaceship" which is just enchanting.
Yes, when Tim sings Chance is the bass. Rob leads on several Home Free songs--Catch Me If You Can, Angels We Have Heard On High, Joy to the World, 9 to 5, Christmas Ain't for the Lonely, All On Me, Cross That Bridge, Dreamer, I Swear, I'll Be Home for Christmas, I'm Yours, Space Ship, Take Me Home Country Roads, Traveling Soldier, What Christmas Means to Me, Why Does It Have to be Be, Why Not, Colder Weather. Rob is a trained opera singer. Great reaction.
One of my all time favorites by Home Free....takes me back to more carefree years of my life ! Rob just goes off and Gospel Rob shows up and takesover. It's all so damn good.
You need to see their "Blue Ain't Your Color" (Keith Urban). Great song, great video, great lead by Rob for the most part with a stunning solo on one verse by Chance.
These guys do an amazing job of this song! They can do any genre including R&B. Rob's voice has so much feeling & soul in it. Austin adding his higher tones, Chance is holding down the bass in the back, Tim adding some deeper bass notes & Adam with his fabulous vocal percussion. These guys are my favorite a cappella group out there. Shawn Stockman from Boyz II Men was one of the judges on the "Sing Off" that Home Free won & he was a big fan of these guys from the start. I'm sure he loved their version of this song.
Loved this original song!! I remember when it came out!❤❤These guys did an amazing cover adding their Home Free spin, so gorgeous!! Rob does a beautiful lead, gorgeous harmonies with Austin’s wonderful parts, of course, and then Tim’s low part comes in, and then Adam holding down the beat !!🔥🔥🔥 🏡🍟
I would love to see/hear more of Rob taking lead. If you haven't seen "Catch Me If You Can" you should check that out as well. Thanks for the refreshing reaction!
Rob leads; Colder Weather, Catch Me If You Can (Home Free original) and Dreamer to name a few….Rob brings the soul and Austin the passion…If you want to see Rob really go off, Joy to the World from 2013 will amaze you!
You can use Tim's hair as a timestamp, he cut it during lockdown/quarantine, circa 2020. Great reaction! Rob and Chance have many tracks in Home Free's lengthy catalog. Rob can really bring out the soul!
Hmmm…different location.…the ceiling in “Brothers In Arms”..is way lower in it. And, there are more windows in this one. Just my observations. And, Rob goes pure Soul 😵💫❤️🔥🔥
Let us introduce you to Gospel Rob! I love whenever Rob has lead, whether a portion or the whole song. The guys in #HomeFree all agree that Rob is the best singer in the group. 😊 Some that feature him: Go Rest High on that Mountain Catch Me If You Can (orig.) Dreamer (orig.) - my fav. is the one LIVE at the Ryman feat. Texas Hill, but he shares the lead in that version and Tim does a great intro of everyone mid-song Joy to the World Spaceship I also love his shared leads in: One Man Band Take Me Home Country Roads Castle on the Hill Stand By Me Amazed Bless the Broken Road Blue Ain’t Your Color and more.
Rob will probably get to lead more often now that Austin is leaving the group. You need to check out Austin's solo channel. He does some amazing covers and wonderful original music.
I love Boyz II Men and have played End of the Road so many times. I never thought I'd ever like a cover of this song. But Home Free did it, while maintaining the respect for the original. How wonderfully sung by all! But for me it is mainly Rob who nailed it. What a great voice with so much soul in it. He touches me deep inside. Of course it is the combination of the other leads, fantastic harmony, bone-feeling bassline and the inhuman vocal percussion that makes it complete.
I so agree with everything you said! When I first saw that they had covered this song, I was honestly a bit nervous because, this song...if done without giving the original justice...could be a major career danger...it is just so iconic. But, they really nailed it. True talent is not limited by genre, generation or style...as these guys demonstrate time and time again.😊
@@melikka808 Yes Home Free can handle all genres and they prove that time and time again. Just like with this song, where I initially had my doubts about whether they could do this. When I heard this song for the first time, I hadn't been listening to Home Free for long (I discovered HF in 2019) and wasn't completely familiar with what they could do, although I was already a fan😉. But after hearing this song, I have never had any doubts about what they can do anymore. I also think that Rob can do so much more that he often shows, although that is already great. That proof "Nessun-Dorma" does.
@JoanN63 Yes!😊 I think where Tim, Chance and Austin probably have more extensive ranges than Rob, his voice has more versatility...he can sing pretty much anything. Together, the mix of their talent is just amazing.😊
As a singer, I suspect Rob has perfect pitch, but I don['t know for sure. Rob is absolutely amazing, and I think all of the guys follow him in a way. But Rob never wants any kind of recognition, even though he deserves it. Thank you for reacting to this. PS. This is "Gospel Rob" (Coined by "ThatSingerReactions").
@@nanadeborah8717 I was just seeing another reaction to Helplessly Hoping (Immediately Yes's) and was thinking how Rob was so much the best choice for the second voice to be added, singing in unison and matching the inflection of Chance. Part of that ability is no doubt his opera training, in that he had to learn to pronounce numerous foreign languages with proper inflections, rather than with how a midwestern would pronounce those syllables. On the Nessun Dorma video reactions, numerous Italians and trained opera singers have praised how excellently Rob got the Italian pronunciation.
@@thomasmacdiarmid8251 Rob is an amazing singer and not as appreciated as much as the others. Austin once said Rob's voice was one of the reasons he wanted to join Home Free. I just love Rob. A little prejudiced because we are in the same area.
More Rob leads-“Catch Me If You Can”, “Dreamer”(the HF only version, not the one with Texas Hill. It’s good, but I prefer the studio version). “What Christmas Means to Me”(Rob cuts loose). “Go Rest High on That Mountain “. For starters.
When Home Free does a cover, they pay homage to the original, but always make it their own. Their covers are always upgrades❣️🎼🥰🎶❤ As far as I'm concerned all of the Home Free guys "emote" through their music/videos better than just about anyone else out there--and in this one Rob showcases his gospel/R&B genius in a way that seems to surprise everyone ❣️❣️❣️ #HomeFree #GospelRobLundquist

#HOMEFREE......so good!
Rob can sing with so much soul. I was blown away by his lead in an older video of HF signing Joy to the World at the Hosanna Concert.
Rob has the most soul in the group.

Gospel Rob strikes again ... such soul and depth in his voice ! Absolutely love these guys ... such amazing talent !

This is so very awesome. I am sure Boyz 2 Men would be so very proud. Rob takes us to church! Love your reaction! ♥
The guys were in a warehouse with wooden floors and round metal poles in Brothers in Arms. This looks more like a parking garage to me.
Rob does have real soul!
Yeah Rob killed it! That’s gospel/R & B Rob. He’s also great in Blue Aint’ Your Color, Bless the Broken Road. It’s a good one! 😍😄
