Hi, you said "You can read the manual" and then said, "If you don't, that's why you have me" but then you didn't finish explaining everything, LOL. I found the manual very confusing and I'm usually pretty good with manuals. As I understand it, I should always use AUTO and I should always(?) have on DRY at 50% when I am using the AC? When using AC on Auto, the fan always stays on unless I turn the unit off, is that correct?
My unit keeps the room at about 68 degrees, so I keep upping the desired temp. Even when set to 85 degrees, the room is 68! And the manual sucks! I wish Paul or someone would give more detailed demos and instructions.
Thanks for the video, the manual sucks pretty bad for these units. It’ll be like COOL - sets the unit to cool mode. HEAT - sets the unit to HEAT mode. No sh-t?! Yet then it doesn’t tell you what totally ambiguous things like GEAR mode does (I still don’t know) or what CLEAN mode actually does or when it needs to be used. I still don’t know what the moon and star icon does when you hit mode… similar things to this. I also don’t have a humidity button, I have a clean button instead. You’d think with how expensive these units are they’d do a little better. Also disappointed that I can’t see the ACTUAL temperature of the room vs. it displaying what it is set to. I think it shows the temp in FAN mode, but would be nice if I could toggle the LED to show which I’d prefer to see- set point temp or actual temp. Know of a way to do that without having to go to fan mode then back to cool or whatever?
Sometimes my unit will have a number like 21.0 on the front of the air unit instead of the temp displayed. What is it telling me with that number. I cannot find that in the manual. There are two diff numbers that will display by themselves. I keep the air filter clean but it does not have anything to do with that. Help. Thanks . Scott
Thank you soo much I was freaking out haha
That's definitely a Midea product sold under the Carrier brand. They're called Midea All Easy Pro in other markets, and its pretty reliable unit!
I just clean the filter but now it seem to not be as cold and I’m lowering the temp to try and make it cold as before. Any suggestions?

Set it to 50% when in Dry mode only, always leave fan in Auto in all modes (preferred). The fan will always run to sense temperature at the unit
How do you just shut the whole thing off?The power button doesn't nothing

That’s a great question. I’ll do some research through my FSR and see what I can come up with.
I agree, the manual sucks.
How do you get display light to come on, how do you switch for Celsius to
Press both up and down arrows at the same time

Am I the only one who thinks this remote is so confusing
How do I change to Celsius. I live in Canada and need Celsius.
I had the same problem,I was pressing the up/down arrows too hard.Just lightly press on the outer edge of up/down arrows.Works every time now
They really screwed that up for user friendliness.
