Agreed. Talking over the performance was interrupting the flow just a bit too much. I found myself wanting to "shhhhh!" him. I don't mind intermittent pauses where the reactor stops and wants to point out a few things that have happened and then they rewind several seconds to pick the flow back up to where they interrupted.

Something potentially throwing you off is her natural tendency to produce polyphonic overtones. It's almost like she has layered her own voice acoustically but not quite. She doesn't always fully produce the second tone but it still results in that larger than life sound.

I usually like your reactions but this one was very annoying. When talking, it would be much better to pause the performance and even, if necessary to point out a particular thing, backup and restart 5 or so seconds before the pause. I realize that the muting was not happening on your own headset. Also, the song is well-known in France and it was somewhat off-putting to hear comments that seemed to speak more to your ignorance (not a pejorative, in this case) of the song and the performance of it. I hope you will forgive me if you think I'm totally wrong or my comments are inappropriate. I subscribed to your channel when you were newer and have not regretted it in the least and will continue to appreciate your efforts.
The thing is, that most of the reactors watch her famous performances of 14 -15 years of age and ask questions whether the colour of her voice is made intentionally or not. That's because at this age she is a growing contralto. But now she is 17 and her voice is already fully formed as a unique dramatic contralto which has become even deeper and acquired more overtones. Try her 2020 records. Her voice may have some frequences more or less ampllified by equalizers depending on the particular performance, but it is never auto-tuned or heavily digitally processed in any other way.
Very frequent interruptions of speech on comments = kill the overall impression! I can't hear the performer! Pause-then comment! Diana = 100 likes, and You =1 dislike for the quality of the reaction...
To be honest and equitable to other great performers and singers, there are many of them today on the world stages, I do not want to deny them in recognition - I really like a lot of them.[who am I to judge?] However, I think Diana Ankudinova would be one voice which we would call and remember as "the voice of the 21 century". Agreed. Talking over the performance was interrupting the flow just a bit too much. I found myself wanting to "shhhhh!" him. I don't mind intermittent pauses where the reactor stops and wants to point out a few things that have happened and then they rewind several seconds to pick the flow back up to where they interrupted.

Diana was born May 2003. 31 in Arsenyev in the Far East Russia. She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman, who gave her birth, had 12 pregnancies, only Diana survived... and she did not want Diana either, mistreated her severely and tried to drown her. Relatives found the girl with a broken collarbone on the street and took the 3-year-old girl to a children's home shortly thereafter. Only then did she find love ... from Irina Ponik. She worked as a massage therapist and treated children from the orphanage. Irina Ponik and her daughter Nastya fell in love with Diana and took her out of the orphanage and Irina became, as I call it, Diana's 'real mother'. Irina had two children of her own. Taking a child into the family was of course not easy for her ... but she adopted Diana at the age of 5. Diana has lived in a poor but loving family ever since. Since she was lagging in her speech development and even stuttered, she received singing lessons on the advice of a doctor.
In 2012, the family moved thousands of kilometers away, to Togliatti, because Diana did not let go of the fear, that the woman, who gave her birth, would take her away.
Diana's voice and sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a child and she won over 50 competitions in Togliatti and the surrounding area. Her confidence grew, her voice continued to develop, and Diana's stage costumes swallowed up the family budget. So, her mother completed a sewing course and has been sewing all the clothes herself since then.
One day Diana was advised to take part in competitions further away, so that the other children also had a chance to win.
Diana convinced with her talent and her voice in numerous national and international competitions, the Chinese competition for young artists and the competition 'Talents of Wolgaland'. She is a multiple winner of the Grand Prix of all-Russian and international singing competitions.

Something potentially throwing you off is her natural tendency to produce polyphonic overtones. It's almost like she has layered her own voice acoustically but not quite. She doesn't always fully produce the second tone but it still results in that larger than life sound.

I don't know. I feel more wowed by her voice competition than most recent music she's put out afterwards. I think she uses more range in the show.
I usually like your reactions but this one was very annoying. When talking, it would be much better to pause the performance and even, if necessary to point out a particular thing, backup and restart 5 or so seconds before the pause. I realize that the muting was not happening on your own headset. Also, the song is well-known in France and it was somewhat off-putting to hear comments that seemed to speak more to your ignorance (not a pejorative, in this case) of the song and the performance of it. I hope you will forgive me if you think I'm totally wrong or my comments are inappropriate. I subscribed to your channel when you were newer and have not regretted it in the least and will continue to appreciate your efforts.

The thing is, that most of the reactors watch her famous performances of 14 -15 years of age and ask questions whether the colour of her voice is made intentionally or not. That's because at this age she is a growing contralto. But now she is 17 and her voice is already fully formed as a unique dramatic contralto which has become even deeper and acquired more overtones. Try her 2020 records. Her voice may have some frequences more or less ampllified by equalizers depending on the particular performance, but it is never auto-tuned or heavily digitally processed in any other way.
