Diana is a pure contralto, which allows her to walk through the same area of tenors and even baritones. Though she has a quite large range and she has high notes and falsettos too. Diana is also poliphonic so, yes, you have the right "impression" that there's two or three layers of her voice at times, specially forming the low notes.

Sorry man. Angelina Jordan is mezzo- soprano/ alto by nature. She is trying hard to push herself to be contralto. But it's not much successfully. Angelina's voice often suddenly just disappearing on really low contralto tones.

Diana is also poliphonic so, yes, you have the right "impression" that there's two or three layers of her voice at times, specially forming the low notes.

Sorry man. Angelina Jordan is mezzo- soprano/ alto by nature. She is trying hard to push herself to be contralto. But it's not much successfully. Angelina's voice often suddenly just disappearing on really low contralto tones.

This song is about a person who is distraught about losing a lover asking or possibly begging for a last dance. Given that, her breathing is completely in keeping with the mood of the song. As for the tone of her voice I would say she is a beautiful contralto.
