Argan Oil is not a magic stick . It does help but its not everything . I'm a berber ( chleuh ) so it means from the region of argan trees . The berber women you see healthy beautiful fit and so on . They don't eat chips :) . And they use mainly the cooking oil . They don't use the cosmitic and no make up . You can say a natural beauty.

yes Samir, im berber from North of Morocco...those women have a very healthy good life style....they work hard...eat well...very healthy social life...don't smoke ..don't drink...when they work you can see and hear them chatting, laughing , singing all day (no stress) ...never eat at the restaurants (they eat fresh and organic...) but one thing i agree with Poppy is that most argan oil products on the shelves are (FAKE) and i feel very sorry for the people. As Moroccan it is very hard for me to find the real one...so we have to ask my Aunt who lives in South to buy it for us...and it doesn't end here ..she has to find a trustful person or she has to go directly to one of those cooperatives. And it is very very expensive! Merci! :)

I bought 100% pure at a beauty supply store for $20 and then found the exact same thing at Walgreens for $10. I use it after my shower while my skin is still wet and apply a small amount to the ends and half way up of my hair. The only thing is I have to wash my hair more often because it gets oily faster but, I love the oil.

Some US-based cosmetics companies attempt to re-create the argan oil production process at home and effectively bypass Morocco altogether. In our opinion this is a mistake. The co-operatives we work with in Morocco produce the finest oil we have (ever) seen - hence we'll be sourcing it from Morocco for as long as we're in business!
My wife love this argan oil so much. It help so much in her skin problem. She has this very dry skin and she tried this oil. applied overnight and found out that it moisturizes her skin. This is the reason why she love this product.

Argon oil doesn't only have a low tech production, that is only in more homemade versions. Higher quantities of argon oil can be obtained in industries without it being necessarily altered. Also, for hair use sometimes companies have to add other ingredients since oil by itself would have a different process of application whereas a cream is an only an "apply and keep walking" thing. I assume that you're just trying to sell a product here for a higher price than its supposed to be selling for.

Anyone else allergic to Argan oil? It took me over a year to find out what I was allergic to that kept making my eyes sooo irritated and skin itch (to the point that my eye would hurt even when I had them closed after using Argan oil on my hair) I went to the Eye Dr and I was told my eyes were fine. That led me to start looking into the ingredients and what it could be. Eventually I realized it was Argan oil. Even if I use just a pea size to apply to the ends of my hair, my eyes start hurting and my skin gets itchy. Hi Hedeya. We always recommend applying argan oil to clean, wet hair. Add a small amount to your palms and rub them together to warm the argan oil. Massage gently into your scalp, covering the roots to tips (go light at the roots). For best results, and to regenerate damaged hair cells, leave the argan oil in your hair overnight.

Hi Sathiya. To answer your question - no, not necessarily. Some bona fide producers of argan oil do present the bottle in a clear glass. We would however advise to opt for dark coloured glass bottles where possible. These preserve the quality and integrity of the argan oil contained within.

I've been using argan oil as my moisturizer for about 10 days now. I have acne scarring and sebaceous hyperplasia and sensitive skin. My skin has never looked smoother and healthier. Every morning I wake up expecting to see breakouts because I know this oil doesn't agree with many people. Hi there, thanks for the comment. Most locally sourced Moroccan argan oil is genuine but always check the label (if it has one). There should be a mild nutty scent from the bottle, almost undetectable. If it's too strong, it may not be genuine.
I bought Live Clean Argan Oil. It's literally just 100% argan oil with nothing else added. It's super good! It comes in a dark brownish see through plastic bottle.

I love the feeling of argan oil its so soft on the skin but I noticed I was problematic with allergy alert in certain places like breasts, face, back. it seems to be fine other places like feet or hair so long as its light application. I noticed I break out with some nuts and seeds carrier oils and edibles and essential mandarin oil but I can eat mandarin fresh no worries.

Hi Chrissy Real Unlike most argan producers, we have specifically chosen not to add perfumes or fragrances to our oil nor is it deodorized in any way since these significantly reduce the healing and hydrating properties of the product. Our argan is as close to a 100% natural and organic cosmetic oil as you can get. We even use traditional cold-pressing production processes to extract the oil from the argan nut since heat can also impact the effectiveness of the oil. Becksnnc Aroosa Shah With skin oils i learned in school to use them on top of serums and moisturizers since they also create a protective layer on the skin so putting it on top of your other skin products will help lock them in also use it out of the shower and try using your face products on top of damp skin because your skin needs a balance of oil and water so putting it on damp skin will help your skin hydrate your skin also argan is great because its non comedogenic which mean non pore clogging :)

I had one with other stuff listed but it was vitamins and a couple of other healthy things able to add to your hair. Im still not sure though, it was a conditioner and I didn't add alot alot, but added like 4 squirts 2 on each side of my hair and im not sure if im scared or not. It doesn't hurt anything, but im pretty aware of using it now.

Argan Oil is not a magic stick . It does help but its not everything . I'm a berber ( chleuh ) so it means from the region of argan trees . The berber women you see healthy beautiful fit and so on . They don't eat chips :) . And they use mainly the cooking oil . They don't use the cosmitic and no make up . You can say a natural beauty.

yes Samir, im berber from North of Morocco...those women have a very healthy good life style....they work hard...eat well...very healthy social life...don't smoke ..don't drink...when they work you can see and hear them chatting, laughing , singing all day (no stress) ...never eat at the restaurants (they eat fresh and organic...) but one thing i agree with Poppy is that most argan oil products on the shelves are (FAKE) and i feel very sorry for the people. As Moroccan it is very hard for me to find the real one...so we have to ask my Aunt who lives in South to buy it for us...and it doesn't end here ..she has to find a trustful person or she has to go directly to one of those cooperatives. Thanks for the feedback Salwa. Essaouira is a lovely place and a great source of pure argan oil! We import our products from Morocco and bottle them in the US. Some US-based cosmetics companies attempt to re-create the argan oil production process at home and effectively bypass Morocco altogether. In our opinion this is a mistake. The co-operatives we work with in Morocco produce the finest oil we have (ever) seen - hence we'll be sourcing it from Morocco for as long as we're in business!

Argon oil doesn't only have a low tech production, that is only in more homemade versions. Higher quantities of argon oil can be obtained in industries without it being necessarily altered. Also, for hair use sometimes companies have to add other ingredients since oil by itself would have a different process of application whereas a cream is an only an "apply and keep walking" thing. I assume that you're just trying to sell a product here for a higher price than its supposed to be selling for.

It's suitable for all skin and hair types, including oily and / or combination skin prone to break outs. It sounds as if you're using the product correctly already. One to two drops is more than enough when applying to problem skin areas.
Anyone else allergic to Argan oil? It took me over a year to find out what I was allergic to that kept making my eyes sooo irritated and skin itch (to the point that my eye would hurt even when I had them closed after using Argan oil on my hair) I went to the Eye Dr and I was told my eyes were fine. That led me to start looking into the ingredients and what it could be. Eventually I realized it was Argan oil. Even if I use just a pea size to apply to the ends of my hair, my eyes start hurting and my skin gets itchy. Later on (months later) I tried another brand (Josie Maran) I applied it to my feet, my feet got extremely itchy seconds after applying Argan oil.

Hi Sathiya. To answer your question - no, not necessarily. Some bona fide producers of argan oil do present the bottle in a clear glass. We would however advise to opt for dark coloured glass bottles where possible. These preserve the quality and integrity of the argan oil contained within.

I've been using argan oil as my moisturizer for about 10 days now. I have acne scarring and sebaceous hyperplasia and sensitive skin. My skin has never looked smoother and healthier. Every morning I wake up expecting to see breakouts because I know this oil doesn't agree with many people. Yes, for cooking, you will need to purchase culinary grade argan oil since this has a different production process to cosmetic grade argan oil. The former being pressed from roasted argan nuts, the latter from raw argan nuts.

Hi there, thanks for the comment. Most locally sourced Moroccan argan oil is genuine but always check the label (if it has one). There should be a mild nutty scent from the bottle, almost undetectable. If it's too strong, it may not be genuine.

I love the feeling of argan oil its so soft on the skin but I noticed I was problematic with allergy alert in certain places like breasts, face, back. it seems to be fine other places like feet or hair so long as its light application. I noticed I break out with some nuts and seeds carrier oils and edibles and essential mandarin oil but I can eat mandarin fresh no worries.

Well um my Aragn Oil says "100 percent pure Aragan Oil" it's in a dark glass bottle, to me it has no smell but if I really dig my nose into it lol, I can smell a bit of argan and it says on the back "A natural moisturizer rich in vitamin E and fatty acids. Unlike most argan producers, we have specifically chosen not to add perfumes or fragrances to our oil nor is it deodorized in any way since these significantly reduce the healing and hydrating properties of the product.
Our argan is as close to a 100% natural and organic cosmetic oil as you can get. We even use traditional cold-pressing production processes to extract the oil from the argan nut since heat can also impact the effectiveness of the oil. So the scent of the argan oil is simply the scent of the pressed nut.

Becksnnc Aroosa Shah With skin oils i learned in school to use them on top of serums and moisturizers since they also create a protective layer on the skin so putting it on top of your other skin products will help lock them in also use it out of the shower and try using your face products on top of damp skin because your skin needs a balance of oil and water so putting it on damp skin will help your skin hydrate your skin also argan is great because its non comedogenic which mean non pore clogging :)

is 100% argan oil and 100% pure argan oil the same?? is it a trick? mine is in a dark bottle saying "100% argan oil" by soaptree
@ Poppy Austin I'm considering experimenting with adding Argan Plus Natural Exotic Oils to my hair shine spray. I usually use equal parts among 4 oils. What are your thoughts on this philosophy, do you think I would be adding too much of the Argan Oil?
Hello Fathema. Adding our Pure Argan Oil to your hair shine spray should result in better manageability, as well as healthy, hydrated hair. Since you're using a selection of natural oils, be sure to go sparingly at first while you figure out the optimal mix. Let us know how it works out for you.

I had one with other stuff listed but it was vitamins and a couple of other healthy things able to add to your hair. Im still not sure though, it was a conditioner and I didn't add alot alot, but added like 4 squirts 2 on each side of my hair and im not sure if im scared or not. It doesn't hurt anything, but im pretty aware of using it now.
