    I never like having greasy hair, it’s actually a OCD and sensory thing for me. When I received a free sample of Moroccanoil I was willing to try it because I have trichotillomania and just buzzed my hair and I want to give my hair and scalp the best chance of recovering from the constant pulling for years. Anyways, I put it on my hair and instantly went “oh I don’t know about this”. My hair looked a bit too greasy. But..after an hour I went and brushed my hand through my hair and realized it was profoundly soft, but not oily. It didn’t appear oily anymore either. It was like my hair literally drank it up. I’ve never experienced that with any other hair oil.

    Moroccanoil: Smells INCREDIBLE. Feels so luxurious to apply on to dry hair. Less costly. Makes hair look mirror shiney and smooth.
    Kerastase: smells luuush. Can apply on wet or dry hair, offers heat protection and shine. Makes hair feel soft and adds shine.
    That was my experience.

    I have the idea that my points become drier due to oil based on silicone (for example dimethicone) with longer use. For this reason I doubt whether or not I want slicone in my hair products. now I am sulphate and slicone free for a while. Sulfate is definitely a good decision for me, but I'm still unsure about whether or not to use water-soluble slicone. maybe you have some advice/explanation for me?

    I would like to use the Elixir as a heat protectant. Do you recommend application to the shafts only or closer to scalp as well?

    • @lauraanderson8785
      @lauraanderson8785 Рік тому +1

      I would recommend you get a proper, sprayable heat protectant. You'd have to apply a shit ton of the elixir to coat all your hair in it to get the heat protecting benefits. It'd be expensive and your hair would get greasy. There are many afforable heat protectants in spray bottles.

      And don't apply hair oil close to the scalp, keep it to the ends and mids only

    Would be ok to use texture spray and a serum at the same time? For example, I use aveda texture spray right out the shower before I blow dry my hair but I just learned that a serum is good to put on your hair before blow drying to protect it front the heat. Would it be ok to put a serum and the texture spray at the same time? I have thin hair. I’m fairly new to all this...

    Can you please help me choose between Kérastase ciment and extensionist? My hair is damaged from heat , split ends .. etc
    I haven’t bleached or dyed it since 3 years. So I want to pick one with the best heat protection and helps with my ends.

    I ordered the Moroccan oil Light after watching your video!
    p.s. @5:28 - "this elixir contains 4 different oils (shows 3 fingers)"
    But too cute to fault.
