Genuinely confused on how some people are still finding a way, or reason, as to why this routine isn’t going to work, or how your beautiful hair shouldn’t be credited to this. Sure, it’s a variety of contributing factors coming together (genetics, work and care, time and patience) but no one can deny how beautiful your curls look. I am so happy I have come across your videos!! I recently gave up on my curls. I don’t add heat to them, ever, but seems they just haven’t been holding moisture well. I use DevaCurl and Bounce Curl already. If you haven’t heard of Bounce Curl, I think you would absolutely adore them 😍 the founder is amazing, with beautiful curls like yours. You can tell both of you have put so much love and energy into your hair, just excellent care! I went ahead and bought all of these oils, I think they will help a lot! Thank you for sharing ❤️
I have hated my hair and tortured it and tired to find the perfect thing for so long, until I stumbled upon this video and I am so thankful to have seen it. I can’t wait to try it out and see what the results are for my hair. Thank you so much ❤️☺️
YES! I recently started CGM. My hairstylist strongly suggested I do a coconut oil treatment on my hair twice a month. She said as time goes by my curls should look more and more beautiful! Also, i'm going to try the castor oil and the red pimento hair growth oil. My hairline started receding from my hair being pulled back in a tight bun for dance performances. I hope the oils work! Thanks!
Ok so as a fellow Indian who is a regular oil user, she would wrap her hair in the towel that she showed in the video and have a silk pillow case and sleep like that. Sometimes I cover my pillowcase with an old t shirt so it doesn't get stained with oil but it's important to always keep that towel wrapped Ard your head. Ofc remember to change your bedsheets and pillow cases every two weeks!!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR TIPS! My hair for the past year has been doing the same thinning around the temples...I am literally buying everything your suggest right frickin' now!!! SO excited that there is hope! :D In my mid 40s, only one in my family with curly hair....my entire life have never known what to do with it! I have wrecked my curls with mousse, blow drying and hair spray. YOU ARE MY NEW GODDESS! Going to follow all your advice...(except I HAVE to color every 6 weeks. I'm old and grey :P). But following all other tips can only help... Again, THANK YOU!!!
I'm in that same boat you talked about, starting to lose some hair around the temples and I would rather not. I don't know a lot about haircare, and this kind of feels like the tip of the iceberg, but I feel like I have a good starting point and that makes me happy. Thanks for sharing!
Omg can you do a video on how to tie up your hair or arrange your hair when sleeping? Bc a lot of people say to do the pineapple tie but my hair is long and I don’t think it’ll work for me 😂
Yes I have a similar question... How should we do the oil treatments if we wash our hair at night? I'm up super early in the mornings to train clients so I have to wash my hair at night. Thanks so much! Your videos have already made a huge impact on my hair!
It depends where you live. You shouldn't be in direct sunlight with coconut oil on your head as the heat from the sun can burn your hair and head. But if you are home all day or somewhere enclosed and want to do that it should be fine to wash it at night
I personally don’t like sleeping with oils in my hair so when I do a treatment like this I will usually put my hair in a protective style like a high bun or a French braid. There are plenty of videos out that show some great protective styles!
Try to deep condition once per week. When conditioning, use silicone free conditioner to get the best benefit. I recommend the Raw Sugar Mango Butter conditioner for normal conditioning (I think it's under ten dollars at Target) and for deep conditioning, Shea Moisture carries good ones. In addition to these products Ayesha uses you can give these ones a go to help your hair - Ayesha's recommendations are more for the scalp and mine are more for the rest of the hair (aside from the coconut oil).
Not related to oil, but what do you do at night to keep your curls in tact the next day? Your 4th day hair is beautiful! I feel like my hair looks great the day I wash it but after I sleep, the next morning its already looking a frizzy mess!
^ I would love to know this too!!! Also, what microfiber turban would be recommended for the oil nights? Just went and ahead and purchased all the oils mentioned in this video. Ready for healthy curls!

I ran across your videos by chance and I’m so glad i did. I thought i was crazy when i realized the amount of hair that was coming out when i washed my hair from DevaCurl. Thank you so much for sharing bc those products went straight to the trash. I’ve always had curly hair but I’m just now, at 25, really trying to get my curls natural and healthy and love the curls i have. These products will soon be added to my routine. But i was wondering, do you use conditioner as well? Also, what’s your full hair routine?
mel I do this method as well. Rubbing the oil between your hands will cause it to become liquid and you can just run it from the shaft to your ends using the praying hands method. I use it both ways.
Yo girl this is awwwwesome, just PLEASE don't microwave the oil (or anything, ever). It kills all the nutrients and you're left with a sub par, low quality, no-longer-virgin, coconut oil. 🥥 🌴
Could you maybe upload a new hair care routine? I´d be really interested what you do now after the DevaCurl incident/situation. And just so you know, the situation might be sad, but you´re still beautiful and the people here still love you :)
@@JamieJosef Yeah, so I've heard. It's so sad, but truly, sometimes it's good to start anew. I shaved all my hair off, even though I really liked my hair, but I just needed something else, and truly, somehow it's helped me discover myself and become the person I am today. Sure, it's a bad situation and she never wanted to do this, but maybe it's for the better. I really wish her well in the time that is to come.
Jamie Josef id rather just leave my hair long and damaged. Before I stopped using heat, dying my hair etc. I just let it grow out and now it’s healthy and to my thighs
Lauren C yeah I totally get that, hair is super important to me, but leaving it damaged can really impede new growth and can look ratty till there’s not much you can do
I've been using this oil routine for 6 months and it's a real game changer. My shedding has decreased tremendously. It has also revived my very damaged curls. It takes time and patience, but it's worth it.
I agree. I've been doing for a month and my hair feels so much better as well. I use all of what she showed except tea tree oil, it smelled horrible and since she uses so little it didn't bother me one bit to return it lol
Thank you for this comment. I had hair like her but I let it go to waste. I am starting this whole new routine as I just bought a bunch of stuff on Amazon. My journey will begin tomorrow. I have to remember patience
@@brandonmarrero3949 well in the video she said that she searched on the internet what was the best hair oil that stimulates hair growth and that it was castor oil and then she searched what was the best kind of castor oil and said that it was jamaican black castor oil but later in the video she said that her favourite oil is the red pimento oil
beestreelight they serve differing purposes. Castor oil is for roots for example. Coconut oil is for sealing in the moisture. Teatree is for the scalp and stimulation. Argon is to help with suppleness and facilitating moisture. She does actually tell you. Go back and listen. Emphasis is root and strands.
Back when I used to wash my hair every 2nd-3rd day, I couldn't imagine either. But as soon as your scalp gets used to not overproducing talg because of washing your hair every other day, that's just normal. :) And yeah, looks like I'm gonna purchase some new oils for my daily/weekly hair-treatment session, thanks to Ayesha!!
It's normal once your hair gets used to it. I wash my hair once a week, its getting bit oily just around the temples and neck area on day 5-6. There were phases, where I came to wash it after 10-12 days, maybe it was the sun or dry air outside, I dont know, but they got oily just around that day. Everyone who asked didn't even notice I was on day 6 or 7.
she is very glammed up but its not hard to see that without it shes a natural beauty, of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and for me i like opposites so as i am fair i love dark women, so yeah, she is bite the back of your hand gorgeous
i am so happy to have found this video. growing up in a mostly white environment, i was bullied for having big hair at a young age, around 3rd grade i think. since then, i absolutely hated my curls. i’d straighten my hair everyday and sometimes at night, i’d cry my eyes out because all the girls around me had blond and silky hair. now im on a journey to just embrace my curls. thank you so much for your tips!❤️
I understand, I also grew up in a mostly white environment and they didn't use oil in their hair I would cry when my mom did but I better understand our Indian culture
Hey guys, i just wanted to write about my experiences with the oil treatment for my hair if anybody wants to know how it worked for others. But first i have to say, that i just used coconut oil, argan oil and black castor oil and not the same ones as in the video, because i live in germany and it would have been too expensive. So, i used the oils approximately one time per week (i usually wash my hair twice a week) and after two times i recognized differences. First of all i have really thick and full blonde hair, but the hair near to my face became really "krausig" (theres no word for that in english, but it was like really curly and dry, but only one thin streak on both sides) in the last years, and the rest of my hair is straight. So after the oil treatment my hair got really really soft and it looks much more "smoother" than before and it definitely looks better. I love my hair in the moment so i just can advise you to try it. By the way i did it for like 4-5 weeks now. Hope i didn´t make many mistakes in english and you understand it :) And thank you Ayesha for the video if you read this
hi! i have the same hair problem, it is dry, frizzy and gets really fluffy (or puffy) after i washed it so i really want to try those 3 oils that u mentioned, can u tell me how ur haircare routine is? thanks!
Being an Indian, we have always been taught to put oil before one night of shampooing Now I know what happens without oils No wonders, we Indian are blessed with naturally great hair also our mommies and grannies take care of our oil applications BLESSED ☺️
shagun verma soooo true! I’m Bengali. My mum used to literally drench me and my sisters hair with oil and we used to hate it! When I grew up, I stopped using it and my mum always said my hair is falling out cos of no oil. I’d love to say she was wrong but she was right! I have now started to use oil again.
It depends how you use them. Essential oils are typically very strong, but they can vary in intensity. The so called carrier oils are there to just dilute. So, if you need a tiny amount of essential oil, but you won't be able to spread it out properly, then you want to use the carrier oil.
This video is total BS.. No way anyone hair is that curly on day 4. Plus Indian ppl use there own brand of oils not any of the one she use on her Hair lma0o
I’ve been using olive oil mixed with my perfume since I was a little girl when my Dad said, “Hey girl, get over here, you need some oil in your hair.” I’m allergic to coconut oil, but I do like castor oil occasionally for growth. I find that my lifetime habit of drinking bone soup has kept my hair and nails very thick and strong. I just save the bones from everything that I eat and make broth from them, and I drink it at dinner time. Also, it helps me sleep.
Ayesha, did you revert back to this method after deva curl?? Also, you mentioned in the video using pimento shampoo. Do you use a conditioner after? What “hair style process” do you do before the argan oil. You mentioned a gel.
Yes!! I'm so happy to see this video. I can hear your mom saying for God's sake oil your hair. 😂 since I watched your videos about 3m ago (you inspired me to start my healthy hair journey) my hair has COMPLETELY changed. Heat damaged and thin to healthy and strong. I have been using coconut oil and deep conditioner on my hair 2x per week and my hair has never been so shiny and frizz free! So excited to try out your routine. 💜 also I got your bundle with devacurl and I notice when my hair gets a little too moisturized the deep sea repair brings my spring back!
I never forgot the phrase your mother instructec with Ayesha: Til laego! Til laego!!! It's adorable to have a mom that teaches how to take care of your trouble hair! Mine never did and now I need you curly youtubers to teach me!
Alanna rhodes what is your curl type? Mine is around 3b fine & thin. Don't know about porosity yet. Any suggestions for damaged hair? Im about to start my curly girl journey. Thx everyone!! They need a curly girl emoji!!
kristine Kerr my hair type is 3a with some 3b. Also fine and thin. My biggest tip would be don't skip out on deep conditioning/oiling your hair. It has changed my hair tremendously!! I mix shea moisture manuka honey deep conditioner with coconut oil (I have a video on my channel) I use that twice a week before I wash my hair. It has made my hair shiny from root to ends and reduces frizz dramatically!!! 💜💜 let me know if you have any specific questions. I started 3m ago so I'm no pro but I love to help if I can!!!!
kristine Kerr also join the Facebook group "our healthy hair journey" everyone is so nice and uplifting. So many hair types and product recommendations!!
Mashallah I couldn't watch this video and not comment that your hair is absolutely BEAUTIFULLL!! My hair is curly/wavy and I'm going to start growing it out like you!!! Wish me luck!!
Oil also saved my hair ! I was taking meds that made my hair fall out , it got so so thin ! I started using oil’s in my hair ( this was before starting my wavy/curly hair adventure) and my hair started to grow back and look a bit better.
Scrunch out the gel cast with argan oil - just blew my mind, girl! Hahaha! I Have fine, low-porosity, curly hair that tends to get weighed down easily and also dries easily. I love argan oil but can't ever figure out when is the best time to use it. I can't wait to try this!
LOVE your videos. I'd like to see how you refresh your hair each day to retain your hydration. Your 4th day hair was still so juicy and beautiful! I struggle with retaining the moisture and the wave pattern over several days. I can go 7,8 days between washes, but usually wash 2xs a week for more moisture and curl reactivation. I too love oils, use the curly girl method and if I want straight hair for a change, I set set it with jumbo Velcro rollers. Takes 10 hours to airdry, but I get a week of silky, smooth big wavy hair with no damage. It's also WAY softer than if you use an iron. I'm Jennifer and thanks again for your videos. LOVE them all! Can't wait for more!
Velcro rollers are usually used on dry hair after a blow dry to infuse more volume into the hair. I buy the largest size I can find as I have long hair and am going for a smooth wavy look. If you want a curlier look go for smaller ones. They are easy to find in the hair section of most drug or beauty stores. They are self holding on dry hair, but as I use them in wet/ damp hair for 8-10 hours, I need to use pins or clips to hold them in place. Velcro rollers are hollow, so they allow great airflow for drying if you choose to speed up the process with a hooded dryer or blow dryer. I find air drying with this method gi ves the softest, silkiest smoothest hair because instead of ironing the moisture out, it seals it in. Hope this helps!
Ayesha Malik I’ve used the Black Castor oil of that same brand on my eyelashes and brows for a few weeks before I go to bed and I can tell they’ve grown so much. This stuff is magic🙌🏻
Ayesha Malik I am so glad to read about someone who actually used the products she mentioned. I need to get my hands on both those oil, the Black Castor oil and the Strong Roots. I saw on the website the Strong Roots shampoo. I am tempted to purchase that as well.
Hey Ayesha. I didn't know how to take care of my curly/wavy hair and always use to braid it. After stumbling upon one of your video how my hair is supposed to look like and how to take care of my hair. You inspired me to go curly hair. Thank you so much. Always waiting for you videos... 💜💜💜💜💜
Nagina Maharjan agreed! I hated my curly hair and used to straighten my hair every week and started a bit when I was less than 10 years old! But because of these videos I go full curls,!
I’m am just beginning my hair curl journey. My question to you is “do I avoid hair wash after a work out or is there a method for that?” Thanks for the this video.
My curls are frizzy. The moment I come out of the shower I start noticing frizz forming, more so on the back than front. I wonder if I'll ever have silky curls. :( *Edit:* Thank you all, really appreciate all the tips!!
I know your pain. The back of my hair never curled and would always remain limp and frizzy while my front curled. Simple remedy is deep conditioning treatments, 20 minutes a week. Works like magic. Good hair and scalp care can really bring out your natural texture :)
It was my problem as well. Use any oil you want or any commercial deep conditioner you want. But the secret is to add Humectants in it 😀. Yes I've seen the difference. I put honey in my oils and in my deep conditioner before shampooing (i wash my hair twice a week). I have a lot less frizz and much more definition. 0% frizz is impossible. You'll get little bit of frizz here and there but that's okay! We need volume too 😆 If you're vegan try agave nectar or maple syrup. Hope it helps 🙂
I've got tick curly hair and I've just tried putting in coconut oil for 20 mins before washing it and I've got it wrapped up but I just realised it's still a bit greasey and I'm having trouble getting it out with just water and I don't really want to use my shampoo as it's super stripping, any ideas?
who is here after ayesha's bold and stunning and cool questioning with piryanka chopra and making piryanka answerless and confused ...clapping ayesha you have earned my respect and subscription

So then the castor oil, red pimento, and coconut oils are applied only when you're due for shampoo The rest of the days it's just Argan and tea tree oils? Is that correct?
If you have a balding spot, here's what I did to heal it: 1. Apply castor oil at night, mixing it with neem-coconut oil. (I prepared a neem extract from the neem leaves in my garden, and soaked it in warm coconut oil overnight to create that). So there would be one portion castor oil and 3 portion neem-coconut oil, which I applied in the night. 2. The next morning before taking a shower, I would crush a red onion and squeeze its juice in a bowl. Then I would carefully apply it on my balding spot- only the scalp. I would leave it for about 20 min after which I would go for shower. 3. I bought a very natural and organic mild hair-cleanser for shampooing my hair. It was carefully selected and it is not harsh on my hair. So with that I would wash it off, accompanied with a mild paraben free conditioner. 4. At the end I applied apple cidar vinegar.... about 20 ml of it in 1/4 bucket of water. With that I would lightly rinse my hair. My hair healed in 2 months. The balding spot was now covered with baby hairs. This was the fastest recovery I had ever witnessed. Also, the greying of some hair strands were also healed. I know it because I found the hairs from the root was now black, while the damaged grey part was pushed out.
@@poulomi__hari Thank you for sharing this -- I want to try it. So did you treat the bald areas with castor oil only the night before washing or did you apply it additional times during the week? If it was just a pre-wash thing, how many days do you usually go between washing? Thanks.
Jesus Christ. I'm a curly girl, I grew up with an Indian identity. I'm Guyanese and Ecuadorian so imagine the texture and thickness of my curly hair. And I can attest to everything you've suggested since I've been using the same products!! Oils are liiife! So glad you agree and made this video. It reminded me of how much love I need to give my hair again, thanks for the inspiration! Keep the vids coming :)) Peace and love from NY xx
Your hair is beyond beautiful! I think one thing that's also important to mention is how important it is to massage the scalp to increase blood flow- it also transfers some of the natural oils from our fingers onto our scalps. (I started doing that when my scalp became dry from hormonal changes). You're doing an amazing job at massaging your scalp- I just wanted to further emphasize how you're doing e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. right (and people should do it exactly as you are in this video down to your massaging technique). Everything here is #hairgoals
I have literally been waiting for this video for weeks. Thank you so much for posting it. Here are some questions: how often do you pre-poo? Roughly how long until you see results? Can you please post a video the morning after pre-poo so we can see what you do from wash to style after a night of oiling? Thanks so much!!!!
Thank you for doing this video. The red pimento oil saved my scalp and helped stop my breakage. The Jamacian Black Castor oil is amazing. You weren't kidding, a littl3 goes a long way. It is so thick. 5hank you again for introducing me to these oils and brand.
Hi Ayesha I don't really understand when you use the devacurl shampoo and conditioner if you always do this routine do you sometimes use devacurl products and sometimes the red pimento oil shampoo and conditioner if so why do you ? Like when do you decide to use the devacurl shampoo and conditioner and again why ?
The oils are supposed to be used before the shampoo and conditioner, you can apply the oils overnight or for a couple hours, I use a hot wet towel and a plastic cap...then I wash my hair with the shampoo and condition or deep condition my hair and then style...so basically you use all the oils before washing your hair, EVERY TIME you wash your hair
I don't know if she oils her hair every time before she takes a shower or once in a while, but I think the deva curl shampoo is really light and she might use the pimento shampoo only on the days she oils her hair. The pimento shampoo sounds like a strong shampoo, and light shampoos won't get all of the oil out of your hair, especially if you're using coconut oil. This is the only reason I can think of why she uses both shampoos and when.
the first three oils are the night before you wash, so i'm assuming she'd still have leftover product. the last two are after she's washed, styled, and dried
Thank you so much for posting your hair journey. I’ve been struggling on how to get back to my natural Indian curly hair and finally I can look up to someone who’s been through the same struggles as me. Also my mom used to yell the same thing (“teil lagao”) at me too 😂
I NEED to know what her “styling as usual” routine is, what cur defining cream or similar products she uses, what conditioner she uses if any. I use a apple cider vinegar hair rinse after shampooing instead of a conditioner.
i’ve been doing this for a day and my curls have changed from being so brittle/dry to already being moisturised and going back to how they were when they were younger😭❤️ thank you so much! ps. my hair smells amazing now too!
Honey, thank you so much...I can't thank you enough, my hair is finally getting better, I used all the oils you mentioned in this video in the same order...so far I did this twice and my fried mistreated poor shapeless are getting softer and the frizz is almost gone and it's shiiiiny . I'm sure after few weeks I'll get my curls back . I've been running around telling everyone about this oil routine. Thank you again
Hi! I am ready to purchase all of these oils after watching your video. It has been almost 2 years since I quit deva curl cold turkey. I have tried SO many products and can say that things are better. My hair isn’t the same, but I’m living and okay! Considering that you uploaded this video 3 years ago, can you say 100% that you would still recommend all these oils? I just recently started to get into oil in my hair and am still leading. I’ve watched your video about 3 times now. ♥️
Can you please put links to the Jamaican black castor and red pimento oil? Or the island life website? As far as coconut oil virgin cold pressed I get mine directly from the copra capital of the world, Fiji. They have over 100 years experience from pre colonial and colonial days when Copra was Fiji’s largest export. They didn’t use pesticides and they still have many coconut palms. The last trip we made there we went to Naigani ( pronounced nayngani) and the wind had blown many coconuts down on the ground. We stayed a week and got to know the local villagers who ran the modest dive shop, accommodations, restaurant and bar. We’d been there once before and really found our stay to be comfortable and laid back. The last day we were there several of the young men who had gathered the coconut s gifted us with a bottle of pure cold pressed Naigani coconut oil! They’d placed it in a Fiji water bottle and I was worried it would spill all over my suitcase but as soon as it cooled in the plane of course it would solidify but I still placed it in 2 ziplock bags just in case. I now send clothing, socks and underwear along with cosmetic and perfume samples I save up just to send to Naigani. On Naigani there are no department stores so they often enjoy these products from the mainland. Fijians are polite and genuinely friendly people for the most part who are modest and are particularly well groomed and enjoy sampling the high end products including perfumes and cologne. I get my friend there to accept my package and then ship me back more hand pressed coconut oil from one of my very favorite island destination. 🌴 🥥 🤗

Also, i'm going to try the castor oil and the red pimento hair growth oil. My hairline started receding from my hair being pulled back in a tight bun for dance performances. I hope the oils work! Can you make a video on how you sleep w your hair? And a video on what you do to your hair in between washes?? Pleaaase 😊

I would DIE for fourth day hair as good as that. Holy moly 😍
Omg can you do a video on how to tie up your hair or arrange your hair when sleeping? Bc a lot of people say to do the pineapple tie but my hair is long and I don’t think it’ll work for me 😂
dude my hair did that balding thing too. I lose it from stress. Thank you for this video!
I love that these products are affordable. Gonna give some of these a try soon!
That’s your FOURTH day hair?!?!?!? I WISH 😍
Your link, for me, was dead, but, I frequently shop at Amazon, so, i just typed in Spisha Shop. It took me right to you. Great video.
Your hair looks incredible
I can't belive your 4th day hair looks so good!!
I know I'm not the only who showers at night-is it ok to walk around with all this during the day and wash it out at night?
Yes I have a similar question... How should we do the oil treatments if we wash our hair at night? I'm up super early in the mornings to train clients so I have to wash my hair at night. Thanks so much! Your videos have already made a huge impact on my hair!
Never walk out of your house with coconut oil in your hair ! It damages it really bad
It depends where you live. You shouldn't be in direct sunlight with coconut oil on your head as the heat from the sun can burn your hair and head. But if you are home all day or somewhere enclosed and want to do that it should be fine to wash it at night
If you want to walk around with oil in your hair, try sesame oil. It is also a sunscreen
I personally don’t like sleeping with oils in my hair so when I do a treatment like this I will usually put my hair in a protective style like a high bun or a French braid. There are plenty of videos out that show some great protective styles!
I find coconut oils hard to wash out but I love jojoba oil it absorbs in your hair better and washes out clean
I will give these products a try. My hair needs help.
Thank you so much for sharing such informative hair care routine . By the way girl , what beauty ! O my !
My hair is SO FRIZZY! But oil is the only thing that works for me 🤍
Not related to oil, but what do you do at night to keep your curls in tact the next day? Your 4th day hair is beautiful! I feel like my hair looks great the day I wash it but after I sleep, the next morning its already looking a frizzy mess!
lo0segrip same problem here:/
Probably using the argan oil to scrunch daily and using the diva curl defining gel
^ I would love to know this too!!! Also, what microfiber turban would be recommended for the oil nights? Just went and ahead and purchased all the oils mentioned in this video. Ready for healthy curls!
the frizz is probably damage from the pillowcase. if you put your hair up (dry) before bed and buy a satin pillowcase to sleep on, that should help.
>not related to oil
>the answer is oil
Omg Ayesha where is your shirt from I love it!! 😍

Today I start my oil routine. Lets see how it goes 🧡
Do you think tropic isle products will work on straight scandanavian hair? Cause my hair is very fizzy and dry, but super straight 😅
Sorry I forgot to say I’d love to see a video on how you style and wash and air dry, all of it 😊 oh and refresh thank you sweet heart xxx
NEVER EVER EVER microwave coconut oil. You just killed all the nutritional value of the oil. SMH
do you use it without microwaving it?
mel I think they mean heat it up in a bowl over a pot of hot water or something but then again I’m not sure about their microwave claim anyway
mel I do this method as well. Rubbing the oil between your hands will cause it to become liquid and you can just run it from the shaft to your ends using the praying hands method. I use it both ways.
I just put it in a bowl on a tea cup hotplate! It melts even unrefined virgin coconut oil great!
Leo105 she’s stated that her hair is beyond repair despite many tries and that she’s going to cut it all off
@@JamieJosef Yeah, so I've heard.
Lauren C yeah I totally get that, hair is super important to me, but leaving it damaged can really impede new growth and can look ratty till there’s not much you can do
Jamie Josef I agree. And Ayesha’s hair is mostly chemical damage, you can’t really fix that.

I've been using this oil routine for 6 months and it's a real game changer. My shedding has decreased tremendously. It has also revived my very damaged curls. It takes time and patience, but it's worth it.
Which amongst these oils have you've been using
How often do you apply castor oil? Like how many days. I wash my hair once a week. Do I apply the castor oil daily or do I only do it on wash days?
Tetz Ahoy only on wash days. It’s too thick to use daily
Jamaican Black Castor Oil 1:31
Pimento Oil 3:51
Coconut Oil 4:38
Argan Oil 6:58
Tea Tree Oil 7:30
Hero!
Which one is the best one is my question
@@merber6070 Those aren't all Indian oils tho...
how is that 4th day hairrrrrr 😩😩😩💖💖💖
Right!!!
Back when I used to wash my hair every 2nd-3rd day, I couldn't imagine either. But as soon as your scalp gets used to not overproducing talg because of washing your hair every other day, that's just normal. :)
And yeah, looks like I'm gonna purchase some new oils for my daily/weekly hair-treatment session, thanks to Ayesha!!
MayleeHasOverslept Good for you!!! I might just try doing that though!!!
These products are getting ordered asap!!! Can't wait to try this!!! Your hair looks amazing 😍

Can you try synthetic sebum with 44% coconut oil(tryglercides), 25% joboba oil(wax monoesters), & 25% olive oil(squalene)?
i am so happy to have found this video. growing up in a mostly white environment, i was bullied for having big hair at a young age, around 3rd grade i think. since then, i absolutely hated my curls. i’d straighten my hair everyday and sometimes at night, i’d cry my eyes out because all the girls around me had blond and silky hair. now im on a journey to just embrace my curls. thank you so much for your tips!❤️
Hope i didn´t make many mistakes in english and you understand it :)
And thank you Ayesha for the video if you read this
I think the word you're looking for is frizzy... My German is not that good but I think....
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the oils! I’m going to try it too. Happy for you that you are happy with your hair!

I think essential oils need to be used with “carrier” oils. Shouldn’t be used in 100% pure form.
It depends how you use them. Essential oils are typically very strong, but they can vary in intensity. The so called carrier oils are there to just dilute. So, if you need a tiny amount of essential oil, but you won't be able to spread it out properly, then you want to use the carrier oil.
You should do a video on how you sleep with your hair

Derrick Watkins if u don't mind me asking, what are jumbo Velcro rollers, I've never heard of them before... thank you
Velcro rollers are usually used on dry hair after a blow dry to infuse more volume into the hair.

*Edit:* Thank you all, really appreciate all the tips!!
Sameee
Yep. I have a halo or frizz that eneve goes away
Two words. Liquid gel.

The rest of the days it's just Argan and tea tree oils?
Is that correct?

If you have a balding spot, here's what I did to heal it:

All I see is “USE OILS TO HELP YOUR HAIR.” Makes sense to me. They have helped me too! That black castor oil is amazing!
I would like to know too 🤗
👣
She didn't respond?
Can I do this if my hair is already full of products like hair foam and hairspray?? or does it have to brushed or even washed out?
the first three oils are the night before you wash, so i'm assuming she'd still have leftover product. the last two are after she's washed, styled, and dried
Thank you so much for posting your hair journey. I’ve been struggling on how to get back to my natural Indian curly hair and finally I can look up to someone who’s been through the same struggles as me.
Also my mom used to yell the same thing (“teil lagao”) at me too 😂
When you live in such a hot climate that coconut oil is that way in room temperature
Maisoon Ebrahim you made my day!
Omg my hair broke off and fell out and scared me to death...thank you so much I needed this to help my hair health!
♥️
I have the EXACT same curl pattern and it feels good to finallyyyyy see loose 3A curlson UA-cam 😍
My hair is similar. Maybe I should try out some of these oils, thanks!
