Avoiding saying 1080p 480 hz lol
4K 240hz... Selling a monitor that no GPU supports.
At that point it's no longer about the framerates or 240Hz, but more the picture quality and more like 120Hz at most. People will buy this type of monitor for the picture quality I'm assuming. But if that is their reasoning, I would say why not buy a LG C3/C4 or LG G3 for the same price or half the price in the case of the C3? One could argue 32 inches is more compact on a desk and better for PC gaming since you wont have to break your neck from looking all over.
How long do you keep your monitors for? 6 months?
For real. This dude bashing on Alienware to only come and find out that the monitor was given to him . Paid promotion smh.
How is it paid? I have both the Alienware and ASUS monitors and the ASUS monitor is better. Don't be that person on. It makes you look silly.
NIce monitor, bad price like all oled monitors
Don't forget to add the several hundred dollars it'll cost to get a warranty repair...
that stand is far from being endgame... I find it neither good looking nor practical. The big light in the background is extra cost extra energy that will be facing the wall... I wonder how much cost reduction can ASUS have if they removed all the "gimmicks".
if it had 2k resolution 480hz different story but 1080p... no thanks
I know right and it's at what 32 inches dear Lord that ppi that must look pixelated heck I even noticed the difference between 24 inches between 1080P and 2K
@@Ziyoblader Yo can't see pixels on any modern resolutions

we really comparing this monitor to the Alienware that is half the price on sale and with one of the best customer support?
I don't think it's worth the extra $1200 unless you really want that 480Hz but then just go buy a different monitor.
Oh, and it's a gaming monitor not everyone cares about kvm.
looks dim
The Stand is SHIT ! NOPE No Thanks
:)
imagine still using a 16:9 monitor in 2024
no display port 2.1.... still mid
unless you're super hardcore gamer, I don't think it matters for majority of user.....
DP2.1 is not required for 4K 240Hz
DP 2.1 is more for 16K.

16:9 is totally end game. NOT. Samsung dual 4k 7680x2160 G9 Odyssey 1000r monitor walks all over this. I have my Steam Deck for 16:9. 32:9 4K 240Hz > 16:9 4K 480 Hz.
spoken like a clown that doesn't play anything but single player games....
for your use case, you mean to say
lol nah
