Really glad I found these videos. I was doing so good. Saved money on a set of jegs valve covers and sheet metal intake. Went with some cheaper stuff some expensive stuff. The one thing. Hadn't even thought about it because not a lot of people on here do it. No one ever talks about roller rockers. Had them on every motor before. But I was absolutely fine going to sleep at night with just solid brass trunion set. Full titanium valve hardware. BTR every damn thing. And now I cant quit thinking about them. Comp makes the steel pro magnum that I absolutely will never need but I can't live without them now. That $100 and some bucks in trunions should have gone toward a $600 set of rockers lol I've been wondering for ever (the motor is still out of car) if my flowtech up and forwards would go down. I have 1.750" raised valve covers and they are only 3mm aluminum. Those headers are within 1/8" of hitting them. I really hate to waste another $300. A long manifold would have been so much better to start with. Maybe I can sell them and have Fowler weld me up one turned the way I want cheaper.
I can't believe you spent all that money and didn't deck the block. And those FelPro gaskets. SMH LS engines are so far out of flat, it's crazy. What's the power goal of this build? Might be blown head gaskets, in your future.

No blown head gaskets yet. Upgrading to twins soon... horsepower goal is to put a hole in the block so I have an excuse to go to a 427
