I used Archoil in my first 6.0L. I started using Hotshot secret in my 2nd 6.0L. I don't use anything in the third 6.0L with 195K miles it still runs like new. All of the 6.0L are 2006 models. The first 6.0L had stiction when I got it with 79K miles and running Archoil and Rotella T6 for 70K miles it still had sticking injectors which seemed to be getting worse. The second 6.0L does not have stiction (yet). The third 6.0L is a good starter in very cold weather as long as the batteries are good. What they do not tell you is that both Archoil and Hotshots thin the oil which can cause increased wear in the overall engine components. Next oil change on the 2nd 6.0L the Hotshots comes out not to be used again for a while. I might consider using the Hotshots in the winter the same way I mix Shell Rotella T 15W-40 and Rotella 10W-30 50-50 sometimes in the coldest part of the winter for easier starting. The HEUI injectors are very sensitive to the weight of the oil being used. Too thin and the injectors go away. Here is a potentially costly experiment for you to try. Take Rotella T6 5W-30 change your oil, run under heavy load with high outside temperatures and see what happens to your injectors. Good luck with that.

Four 16oz cans of seafoam in a full tank of fuel, 1 16oz can of seafoam in crankcase 100 miles before engine oil change with archoil and synthetic engine oil.

Archoil is absolutely brilliant.

Good video overall but... LOL Regardless of the price per gallon. Putting it in perspective, it is $50 extra per oil change. Or, the two options. 1 - Keep driving and do some other potential damage or 2 - spend $2K for new injectors. You'll need new injectors eventually but that is 40 oil changes (~200,000 miles) if the injectors do not fail in between. Sounds worth it to me.

Quick question im running the same set up on my 78 impala but in the front i get a little rubbing on one side of the of the brake pads but when i add shim i get the rubbing on the opposite side but the rotor spins freely what do you think i should do great video

I know this is late but I believe the orientation ring goes on the hub before the rotor is placed.

Your using your channel locks backwards you need to turn them around. I don’t know why you’re doing that but perhaps it’s just an experience use them correctly.

You need to change the oil more often…you should have changed it before you added the Archoil and you should always use ford filters or navistar filters…usually a 5w40 synthetic oil or even a semi-synthetic 10w30 works good in those 6.0’s…it’s a Cat designed fuel injection system and Cat recommends 10w30…or the Motorcraft oil works good too!…change the oil every 7500 miles or less…those powerstroke will run a long time if you maintain them!

I should have gotten these pipes a long time ago. I went with a Huron speed t4 truck kit. That cost me $1500. Then I got the vs denmah kit with the cast t4. The Huron manifold didn’t fit because the waste gate was hitting the control arm. So I upgraded for another $300 plus $120 shipping. to the t6 and pick up a used s475 for $350. The turbo don’t allow me to close my hood. So after $2300 I’m going back to my new t4 and some good hookers.

It's a big no no, not very safe, and against NHRA rules, to mount a fuel pressure regulator to the firewall. Even if you don't care about NHRA rules, it's still unsafe. Flexplate could come apart and hit it, starting a bad fire, even explosion, and then you also have all your fuel less than an 1/8" from your cabin.

I can't believe you spent all that money and didn't deck the block. And those FelPro gaskets. SMH LS engines are so far out of flat, it's crazy. What's the power goal of this build? Might be blown head gaskets, in your future.
