  • A vid I decided to make to help show all the progress on the mod since I have gone quiet for a while dealing with health issues while working on this update. Very few small things to take care of so this will be how it looks for release for the most part. And looking forward to getting this finished up here soon for you all. Alot of things have changed in this like lut, constant pollution fog both outside and indoors of open buildings, fog thickness and absorbption and also reflection of light etc. Will have full list of changes with before and after pics on the mod page when complete along with another showcase video showing things as well.

    Your mod looks great! I always thought the color grading etc. in the E3 2018 trailer was better, more cyberpunk and unique compared to the very yellow/Hollywood style of the final version, so it's nice to see that you were able to recreate it so well. I will definitely be waiting to use this in my next playthrough. But one thing I've noticed about all lighting mods is that they often affect neon lights in negative ways imo, such as nerfing intensity or changing colors. Do you think this can be fixed? I also read about your health problems on the mod page. I wish you all the best and hope everything will be fine.

      Thank u so much and I really appreciate it. And yes it's a result of having to change the lut's that some neons and other lights are affected. Has to do with the white points of the lut's and the way cdpr configured the materials to work mostly with the over done lut they went for with the final product. But I have spent a lot of time negating this as much as possible. And with all my settings for bloom, exposure, color grading, and tone mapping, and the lut itself. I so far have been able to get rid of that effect for the most part and about 95 percent of the lights function as they should with noticeable illuminated centers again and less drowned out colors like intended. It's not perfect mostly some cars like the Quadra tail lights are still more of a solid red. But again that's more of a material issue as well. Most other car's tail lights when using the brakes light up normal and most normal neons works as they should now. The other 5 percent that have some issues are unfortunately cause of materials like I said that is a bit beyond me to edit them all correctly. I'm hoping most people will be satisfied with the results :)
