    Bummer, I was hoping it would work. Let it cook longer, throw in some marshmallows. Oh, maybe try bleach.

      Thanks so much, man! I was worried that the constant scene switching and abrupt lighting changes would really annoy people, but I couldn't really avoid it without a proper lighting setup and a cameraman, lol.

    What temp did you place oven on and for how long as i have reballed graphics for years with no comebacks using this method but i use 100 degrees for 6 mins on four balls of foil middle shelf must be a fan assisted oven.
    I did this to my nephews hp probook 7 years ago and still works fine now and is used everyday

    With 480's running so hot I'm surprised they don't reflow themselves.
    Also, reflow temps usually start at 220C, perhaps try ramping up the oven and see how that goes.

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  4 роки тому

      😂Good point. And yeah, I screwed up temps-wise. The times I got it to work I had the oven set way higher but I only remembered after the fact. I'm going to try it again at a higher temp and give it a few more minutes and that should do the trick.

      @@TheTechTank did you do the follow up? if so, what's the name of the video? searching oven on your channel only returns this video as a result. I'm guessing that if no follow up was made that increasing the temps didn't work?

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  3 роки тому

      @@SaisukeMutsu Pretty much, yeah. I tried it again at higher temps once or twice ages ago with no luck, and I ran out of time to dedicate to getting it to work 😭Could always make a follow-up video one day doing it the proper way, maybe even with a proper resoldering oven or at the very least a heat gun.

    What do i must take in consideration to know which power supplier to buy? And im sorry for asking this stuff in your comments i just need help to understand what i need for my first pc so i don’t waste my money.

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  4 роки тому +2

      No problem, always happy to help. For power supplies the main things to consider are wattage and brand. For most systems a 500-550W power supply should be more than enough, as long as you're going with one of the better-known brands like Corsair, Cooler Master, EVGA and a few others. Just try not to go too cheap on your PSU, because if it dies it could take the rest of your system with it.

    • @ronyjames3060
      @ronyjames3060 4 роки тому

      Just Tank im about to purchase a EVGA 650W Bronze. Also can you recommend me some case fans with or with out RGB on an entry level price ?

      Just Tank im sorry if im being a pain, but two more question.
      Which do you recommend me more a G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 16gb ram or the CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16gb ram?
      Does it make that much of a difference ?

    • @TheTechTank
      @TheTechTank  4 роки тому +1

      @@ronyjames3060 That's a solid PSU for the price. As for fans, I love Corsair's LL-series, but they're definitely not entry-level. Noctua and be quiet! are great too, but also a little pricey. Maybe look into Corsair and Cooler Master's more budget-friendly range, they're pretty good value.

    • @ronyjames3060

      Actually tried it again multiple times a few weeks ago. Each time at a higher temperature and longer time increments and still no dice. I've seen it work miracles a few times in my life but methinks this card's issue lies elsewhere unfortunately.

      @@TheTechTank Yeah, I mean it doesn't work the first time there's a good chance it's something else. Maybe something is blown. I revived quite a few laptops this way and they lasted quite a while. Longer than I had ownership of them at least ^_^.
