Hi Laurence, Really enjoyed the video, I agree, it is a great feeling when you can sit back knowing you have solved a issue with your bee's. I had 3 bf f1 Queens from you earlier this year and they are amazing layers, good stores and very calm, I've ordered another which hopefully will arrive soon and I'll definitely be having more 🐝😊
Thank you so much! I have learned so much by watching this. A great way to teach. Having just four hives though, is it ok not to dispose with queens that lay drone cells because don’t they lay worker brood as well? Is it ok just to cut out the drone brood that’s usually at the bottom of the frame?

Great experience thanks. Congratulations for you daughter. Keep up the good work your knowledge is priceless!
I watched the hive again where you introduced the queen at 1:30:00, it looks like you took all the queen cells down that I had seen.
4 small pieces of gaffa tape, one on each end on the viewing panels stops them popping off. I had the same issue

The colony will die without workers.
It's perfectly normal for a queen to lay a percentage of drone. If she is still laying the majority worker then she's fine.
Them are huge frames
Is it worth doing a demaree split or is it getting to late
@@Cubrider if it was perfect weather you could still do it but if its not perfect weather I'd stick on a single brood now
@BlackMountainHoney thanks for the opinion I've been torn the past week but that's given me a nudge in the right direction.
