- Quick review of the Lyson 20 frame honey extractor.
I love it.
We can extract eight times more honey at a time than our old three frame hand crank extractor.
Fantastic engineering. AC or DC. Sloped bottom. stainless steel shell with a solid metal side spout.
Cross bracing between the legs. 10 speed with an automatic shut off timer.
20 medium frames or with a certain amount of manipulation, 8 deep super frames.
Comes complete so you are not being nickel and dimed trying to buy a larger basket or whatever.
Fantastic engineering from Lyson (Poland). Incredibly smooth engine.
My only complaints would be that it is not American made and the exorbitant shipping cost. That fee is not the fault of the company.

I own a lyson exactly like that. Hand cranking an antique 4-frame exctractor got us the money. Two seasons of cranking and rubbing our arms made buying the big one easy.
That’s quite the operation you have going there! 😃 I have a simple 2 frame hand crank extractor and it works for now. As I level up, that may be something I consider getting. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! I have a video in the tank showing how to cross brace a 2 frame. Those work too :)
Thanks for the review. That looks like a really nice extractor.
Thank you Thomas. I really need to step up my game with the videos.
Aside from its height the only thing that I wish was better would be heavier reinforcement on the legs.
Looks very well balanced. Very nice. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching! We have a holding tray, picking frames of similar weight helps.
That thing is quiet and very stable! I'm still running a 4 frame extractor, but hopefully one of these days the girls will pay for a new one. Thanks for sharing!
Pricey but I we can do 7 to 8 times more in the same time.
Very nice Mike!! Man that extractor is sweet!! Runs so smooth! Thanks for sharing
Geeze thanks but I still can't believe how smooth this machine is!
very nice equipment
Wait until you see our 1959 saw blade uncapper. Things a hoot. Thanks!
In food industry machinery should be all stainless, specially top bar. Nice video Mike
Have to agree. If I wasn't dealing with the incredible antimicrobial properties of honey I wouldn't be doing this. Also the side strips are white oak. Really appreciate your comment!
That’s nice! I’ll have to stick with my manual three frame until I can afford that
Ty I did that for years and the three frames work! Thanks.
Very creative, my friend, what machine is this
Misda it is a Polish Lyson 20 frame extractor. We love it. Also, you have some wonderful video. What beautiful country!
Mike, i dont know how i missed this video a year ago. This video came up when i searched Lyson 20. This is what I need. I passed on the Lyson because of the shipping. Seeing today that Pierco is selling it for $1350 with free shipping! I also took interest in your uncapping tank. What bin is that? I didnt know there was one that was wide enough for a frame.
I got the Lyson because it was later so I can move it around. Love it! My friend and I are going to weld additional cross bracing under the legs. It really doesn't need it. Also runs on a car battery.
Take a deep frame into your local hardware or big box DIY store. With any luck you'll find one that fits.
The edges of my own uncapping tank are trimmed with white oak.
Thanks and I hope this helps!
Is that yours or Vince's? Nice machine.
Lol it's mine.
Is it actually that quiet?
Absolutely, and that's with the lid open.
