brother you shouldn't really be advertising this rig for the iPhone 16 Pro, I watched your video, ordered it and turns out the iPhone 16 Pro is actually incompatible with the rig. the rig is meant to be used with magsafe and clamp but as you probably noticed, the magsafe would shift the iPhone 16 Pro off to a point where the lens adapter cannot be aligned and you only use the clamp to get it to "fit". However, this lets the iPhone 16 Pro wobble, shift and not really sit secure in the rig. in the end it means dropping it completely and using different parts instead - not very satisfactory and double the cost of the non-fitting adapter that is supplied. It really wondered me that they have compatibility lists for SSDs but non-published for compatible phones for this rig.

Coming to the party a month late, and just discovered your channel. I like your style. I know that SmallRig sponsored this video, so the emphasis will be on the positives of the product. When I went to potentially buy it on Amazon, I saw it had an abysmal 2.7 stars review ranking, which makes it the worst reviewed SmallRig product I've ever seen on Amazon, and I have bought a LOT of SmallRig accessories over the years. It looks like the vast majority of the criticism is peeps that have the iPhone 16 Pro Max, which doesn't fit properly in the All-In-One kit, so I guess the SmallRig marketing team forgot to warn buyers in the product description, which it looks like they finally edited AFTERWARDS.
I ordered direct off their website, iPhone 16 Pro - no mention of fitment, it doesnt, magsafe doesnt align with the lens adapter, clamp alone as he shows it off lets the phone wobble and shift. I see a painful process returning it and trying to reclaim import tax and vat. could have saved a lot of time and frustration if the review was accurate.
I literally shot an entire wedding anniversary on an iPhone attached to my Ricoh gr iii. I was just trying to get bts of me taking photos on the go. Turned out amazing tbh for a phone
newer has a very similar cage but not as many accessories, however at a 5th of the price its a great buy when you pair it with some knf filters from amazon :)

What about a portable battery? Do you use the Anker Mag-go you showed in one of your other videos with this rig with a holder for it or? Doesn’t seem like it can fit once the phone is in the cage
I usually keep my old phones when I upgrade so I have one phone as a monitor using the Blackmagic app and another to control lighting. I think you can use an iPad as a monitor too.

Hey yc Christmas is coming up and everyone is asking me what I want and this year I have no clue 😮💨 I know you usually make a holiday buyers list, by chance are you gonna drop one this year?
NOT working well with iPhone 15 pro max, impossible to use all together the clamp and the magnet safe. Need to move the phone on the left to put the ND filter adaptor. And with the size of the max it’s also impossible to put the USC hub inside the case. The hub need to be placed in an other cold shoe
I like the idea of this rig but unfortunately the files are huge and iPhones that shoot LOG are expensive. Anyone who doesn't have an iPhone would be much better off getting latest DJI Action 5 Cam for $400 and shoot in DLOG (or Hero 13 but Action 5 has a bigger sensor and better low light) Added bonus is that any action cam doesn't require any rig setup as the stabilisation is great.
