Yeah, it's weird that a super slow incantation that takes 2 slots? Or is it 3? Either way, you get more damage from a powerstanced Bandit's Curved Sword with a Holy infusion than you do from this incant.... Which is sad. Style points wise, that incant is SUPER top tier.
They honestly just have to make the crown and dry leaf work with Miquella's light. Cause with the crown and dry leaf that's like a 15% increase in damage
Thanks for editing this epic journey together. I had to pop in only occasionally and really appreciate the full experience. The DLC has proven a significant complication to the all weapon challenge but sending support that it will become easier as the runs add up. Thanks for the dedication!

I wished they created a new thrusting sword and called it Miquella’s needle (I know there alrdy exists an item called that but still) and gave it some cool special effects.
I love watching invaders think im afk and hit me with a light of miquella spell rotation just to know that i let them hit me, and it doesn't do any damage worth noting to me, so they run away 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 "Oh no! My one-shot build doesn't work, time to find a mob to hide behind. " i can tank everything 😂
Light of Miquella is probably considered a unique incantation, similar to Placidusax's Ruin. However, I don't know if it's just bugged or not because it doesn't benefit from the Circlet of Light. Really wish Placidusax's Ruin was a dragon communion incant and Light of Miquella was a Miquella incantation. Would be so much easier than creating an entirely separate category for one, maybe two, niche incantations.
Same here.. makes Light of Miquella (and placis incant) just so much worse when it doesn’t get any buffs. So much lost potential cause who wants to use it when it’s pretty much useless even if it looks so cool.
Placidusax's Ruin should be a Dragon Cult incantation, not a Dragon Communion incantation. Dragon Communion is related to Bayle and his progeny, the Drakes.
to be fair, many of the enemies in the main game have high resistance for holy damage, but DLC enermies have relatively low holy resistance. So Miquellas build should perform better in DLC than in the main game
Light of Miquella will do more damage once they fixe the seal and the crown, the crown is supposed to boost it yet it does nothing and the seal boosts Miquella's inquantations but not Light of Miquella. There's also bugs with holy damage buffs not working properly with it, the spell is borderline not working at the moment it's really sad for what is supposed to be the final power of the game...
I do hope that’s the case. It’s just weird that they haven’t been able to fix that yet? But hopefully it happens, might need to retry the incant after that.
@@FortiEnjoyer Probably going to have to wait for the next big patch, so far they mostly fixed the game-breaking stuff (broken AoW, OP dueling-shields, major bugs), they have yet to release a real balancing patch ironing-out everything from the DLC.
Don’t know about great but hopefully better at least. Since apparently light of miquella gets the boost from the circlet of light now but not the dryleaf seal..
Well I don't know about underusing:D I did use it quite a lot. It's a good spell tho for sure but I was familiar with it already, wanted to give the new spells more attention. For many situations Multilayered Ring of Light was also even better.

Sorry, but as someone who ADORES the Promised Consort fight, I have NEVER seen what happened at 1:27:05, even with my 20+ kills on him during various challenge runs. Are you aware of why he doesn’t finish this combo? You don’t seem phased by it, but I’ve played and watched this fight hundreds of times and never seen it. Does it have to do with the fact you attacked him as he was throwing the meteors? Or the peculiar way you dodge the meteors themselves, rather than running backwards? I’d understand if you don’t know, but any insight would be great, as I’m sure other challenge runners know, this is easily his second worst attack 😅
Hmm I have to say I don’t know yet what causes him to not finish that combo. It could be the hit or maybe with correct spacing? Hard to say. I feel like it happens sometimes when I fight him but I’m not 100% sure whether it has happened before with other weapons. In any case I can’t seem to do it consistently, I doubt there is a waterproof method to him not finish the combo but impossible to say just yet.
@@FortiEnjoyer awww that sucks. Most consistent way I have found to dodge it is contrary to how most people dodge it, as that method relies on spacing. Try running directly under Radahn, only one roll needed for meteors. 3 dodges to dodge the 4 light copies and the real Radahn, and from there dodge like normal. A little hard on execution, but I find it more consistent then the run away and jump strat which heavily relies on keeping Radahn in the centre of the arena.
Yeah atm I’ve just accepted that I’ll get hit by that attack:D just trying to avoid getting hit by both ”real attacks” and tanking some of the clone attacks if necessary.
