Sherrill thank you so much! This is a quick and fun way to make pillowcases and the falange adds such a nice touch. I just love your delivery ~ you are calm, patient and you never sound condescending ❣️
I loved the video and you are so easy to listen to. The pillowcases are really fun and look great. I have made 10 of them for an adult girl cousin's pajama party in a few weeks. Can't wait to make them for Christmas gifts too. Thank you!

Hi Barb. The pillow case that I demonstrated fits a standard size and queen size pillow. To make a king size measure the length and add the difference to the length of fabric to cut. Hope this helps. Glad you liked the magic pillowcase tutorial. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Kathy. Often when I purchase fabric the store doesn't cut the fabric very straight. Sometimes it is very crooked. So I always add a little extra to the quantity. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Hi Kathy. Yes, it is a standard queen size. If you need it longer, add the extra inches to the main section of the pillowcase. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Wish I could follow your directions with the heart facing the other way so the heart shows when you approach the bed because the bed is against the wall.
hey Sherril...I do not have a 36" mat and I am new to sewing so how would i cut a 27" piece of fabric when I only have a 24' mat....I have tried to look for this info online and have had no luck.
Hi Suny. Cut the first 24" inches, the move the fabric over, and cut the remaining 3". You can purchase a larger cutting matt from Joann Fabrics and Crafts, and on amazon. com. Merry Christmas, and happy sewing. 😍
Yes i figured that out however how to keep it straight for cutting...I know to mark it but its still perplexing to me cause I don't want to waste the fabric by doing it wrong...not even sure if I cut the 27" with the selvage or against it..once again the videos that I watch take it for granted that you know how to cut fabric and which way to cut it
Hi BA-ef4pr. This is for a standard pillow case. Here is another pattern that you can make it for any size pillow: ua-cam.com/video/5qBWzkQjZHs/v-deo.html Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

What are the fabric requirements for king size cases?
My fabric shrunk when washed and is only 40 inches. Is that wide enough?
Hi Valerie. Yes it will be fine. Thanks for watching💗and happy sewing😍
Hi you are just amazing
Wish I could follow your directions with the heart facing the other way so the heart shows when you approach the bed because the bed is against the wall.
Hi Madelaine. Thanks for watching💗and happy new year😍
I use this pattern frequently; however, I do French seams to prevent raveling.
Thank you for the tutorials. Do you ever pre-wash your fabric?
Hi Velda. Yes I do especially if it is something that will get dirty often. Happy sewing.

What are the size material for single ,queen or a king?
Fabric A is the body of the pillow, fabric B is the cuff and fabric C is the accent trim. You need to use the proper terminology.
Hi Lisa. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I am always trying to improve my tutorials. I think you will find that in my current tutorials I have made instructions much clearer. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Sizes for queen and king cases. Please and thank you

What are the measurements for standard, and king size?
How to make make pillows case
Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍
Isn't that a burrito pillow case?
Hi Beverley. There are so many different names being used for this pillowcase. It's all the same. Stay safe. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
Someone who is a new sewing wouldn’t be able to make this pillowcase. Your instructions are not in-depth enough. Not enough demonstration.
Hi Gmgrits. I am so sorry the pillowcase tutorial was not helpful. Here is a link to another pillowcase tutorial which will be much easier to follow:
