They were doing korntv after-school special during making this album. Used to rush in and wait for dial-up to connect to watch. All in the family definitely didn't age well. Was fine at the time.
1:20 it's even better than 808. It's the guitar signal being fed/driven into a talkbox, or the other way round, played by Munky. And the creepy child toy box melody was played on the guitar as well by Head. Interesting what people can do with guitars back then.
the ending of the song leads into their song Children of the Korn with Ice Cube, i don’t remember if you’ve heard that one yet but the transition sounds dope on CD
I’m stoked how much you like KoRn man. These guys are just so dark, yet intriguing. They’re sound blows people away! I’ve Seen them live a handful of times and they were incredible. Thx for choosing to react to these tunes from them. Rock on!!¡
One of the greatest intro's ever, and my favorite Korn song. The crib mobile riff is genius, the chorus riff is super heavy, the hip-hop groove and breakdown are among their best.
This is without doubt my top 10 favourite korn song ever and the one I always love to sing along with everytime I hear it "You want me to be a good son but you make me feel like no one" is something I related to years back even now people make me feel like I'm "no one" 🖤🤘
Oh damn it's been a long time since I've heard this one 🤘 Korn is one of those bands that just have such a unique style you can identify them off of one note being played 😄
I used to listen to Korn religiously when I was in high school and Dead Bodies Everywhere is my favorite song of theirs. I figured out how they got that music box sound. It’s a guitar riff played through a Digitech whammy pedal which is a pitch shifter that takes the original notes an octave higher. What’s cool is that Jonathan Davis, the lead singer, worked as a mortician before he joined the band. So you know what inspired a song called Dead Bodies Everywhere.
Crazy to think this album was under the pop category because it was number 1 for a while and nominated for Grammies and won a monoman award given to them by Christiana Aguilera at the mtv awards. They were sitting next to will smith, Eminem, Fred durst and snoop doggy at the awards too. That’s how huge they were in 98
I love Korn, they are absolute fire live! They have made and follow their own rules largely and I feel this heavily contributes to their unique sound, I agree there is no other band that sounds like Korn which is why I love them so much. They are releasing a new album in February and will be touring also! Great review!
One of my favorite Korn albums since its release, and one of my top favorite Korn songs too!! You should look up what it's about, I know from interviews in music mags back in the day. It's deeply enriching, this song. Really short version, John did autopsies, his Dad wanted him to make a lastung career of it climbing the hierarchy , but Jonathan wanted other things after awhile, obviously, lol. John's good with his Dad now, though. I'll NEVER forget how much this album blew me away, but to be honest I'm biased as hell, as they're my favorite band (along with a couple others)!! I've never heard a bad album from Korn to this day, and that's saying something!! Nice reaction. Take Care All, Amanda
Good reaction, thanks! Your open mind is great. Love this song, obviously as a mid-90’s teen. Are you ready for the dark KoRn early 90’s? “Helmet in the bush”, would be my suggestion.
Was at a festival when this was new and after Got The Life I screamed out "Dead Bodies Everywhere!!" and got some strange looks from the unfamiliar around me.
I had this on cassette tape, my mom bought it for me. My friend convinced her it wasn't bad. I had it for a while before she listened to it and heard All in the Family. She took it away from me so I bought it again and hid it
You should really react to Blind Live at CBGB. If you've heard Limp Bizkit's Break Stuff, Blind live at CBGB is Korn's Break Stuff. It's such a well done song.
I wasnt here since your slipknot reactions. come here for this one. good reaction bro. you reaching 22k . congrats My suggestions from korn Coming Undone A.D.I.D.A.S Twisted Transistor
I hope you go deeper down that Korn rabbit hole. If you can relate to the lyrics well I'd say take Korn in small doses. I always prefer watching videos that I hope get a ton more views. I enjoyed it and I hope you do some more reaction videos to some funky metal bands. Btw did you ever notice Cypress hill used a bunch of Black Sabbath samples on their tracks??
If you haven't checked out Archspire, Now's the perfect Time. Bleed the future, Drone Corpse Aviator of their latest release are some good tracks. The Vocalist is Heavily influenced by Rap music and the musicians themselves are a notch above.
Just like Slipknot Saturday's, you should have Korn Manday's, and just do a Korn song reaction on any day of the week you hear the Elote Man rollin down the street, lmao... You DO have an Elote man, no?
"they are so unique" if you like unique, check out some Tool. if you havent already. i just found your channel this morning :) you can also never go wrong with Korn.
This whole album is genius and was incredibly refreshing.
Except for All in the Family. Shouldn't have made the album.
@@nicholaspaul4847 all in the family was great wym

All in the family definitely didn't age well. Was fine at the time.
This and the first album!
their best record by far
I can't believe anyone would ever react to this song. There's so many great Korn songs, including this one that doesn't get notoriety. Great choice.
I react to what my viewers want me to react to. 🙂
@@KurtisB Excellent, you should check out "The Nameless by Slipknot" If you haven't done that one yet.
My Gift to you is heavy embodied ...fun fact every closing track in korns discography is a climax
Yes one of my favourite songs
KoRn's closing tracks are phenomenal!
My gift to you is a powerfull song
1:20 it's even better than 808. It's the guitar signal being fed/driven into a talkbox, or the other way round, played by Munky. And the creepy child toy box melody was played on the guitar as well by Head. Interesting what people can do with guitars back then.
So glad you gave this a listen. Such a good song. The whole "Follow the leader" album is great.
the ending of the song leads into their song Children of the Korn with Ice Cube, i don’t remember if you’ve heard that one yet but the transition sounds dope on CD
I’m stoked how much you like KoRn man. These guys are just so dark, yet intriguing. They’re sound blows people away! I’ve Seen them live a handful of times and they were incredible. Thx for choosing to react to these tunes from them. Rock on!!¡
I saw them at Ozzfest 2003 and they blew the fucking people away with their amazing performance! I will never forget that experience.
One of the greatest intro's ever, and my favorite Korn song. The crib mobile riff is genius, the chorus riff is super heavy, the hip-hop groove and breakdown are among their best.
I'm so glad that this band exists, if only because they were and still are different. ❤️❤️🙏🤘
This is without doubt my top 10 favourite korn song ever and the one I always love to sing along with everytime I hear it
"You want me to be a good son but you make me feel like no one" is something I related to years back even now people make me feel like I'm "no one" 🖤🤘
Fun fact Kurtis. The guitar intro was featured in the horror film The Collector.

What’s cool is that Jonathan Davis, the lead singer, worked as a mortician before he joined the band. So you know what inspired a song called Dead Bodies Everywhere.
But what's not cool is what inspired the song "Pretty"
There are some amazing live videos of this song. Munky on the talk box, and an extended break down in the middle. good shit.

Korn is my favorite rock band. Started working out to heavy metal. Only time I'll probably listen to it.
🤘🏽🖤😈😈🖤🤘🏽Love this song and it brings me back to 7th/8th grade in 1998 when it came out

I think to this day this is still my favorite Korn track
Honestly still one of my most favorite albums by them. Still rocking the original disc too lol🤘🔥🤘
Yeah love Follow the Leader but my faves would have to be the self titled and Life Is Peachy.
In my top 5 Korn songs ever
That baby music sound your thinking of is a xylophone
I love Munky playing the Talk Box during this sound. Makes a cool sound at the beginning of the song and throughout
You really just need to react to this entire album. Don't forget the hidden track at the end.
Good reaction, thanks! Your open mind is great.

Smashed it

GOT THE LIFE is a must listen from this album!!
I think you would really vibe to that song
Jon really gets the crowd going with this song and bounces lyrics off of them.
The opening riffs are killer! Those guitars sound like a monster eating on something!
Liked It!
The word you I THINK you were looking for was solidified
Oh man when this album came out I was 18 and fucking played this in my car everywhere, on cassette tape tho haha
You should check out this song through a nice set of subs. Man, it hits haaaaaarrrrddddd in the beginning.
Tuneeeee and brilliant album
I got the Follow The Leader album with the bonus album when it first came out in 98
Johnathan Davis is really good at adding vocalizations and jazzy scat like music to the mix of a metal music
You should really react to Blind Live at CBGB. If you've heard Limp Bizkit's Break Stuff, Blind live at CBGB is Korn's Break Stuff. It's such a well done song.
Jonathan Davis and mines birthday is coming up
JAN.18🤘🤘
Nice! We're all January babies haha. Happy early birthday!
Capricorns are really rare so super awesome there is song off the album before this called good Good and it's Sooo korn
Soooo good
excellent reactions !!!, I recommend you react to another song from that album, "Korn- Children of the KoRn", greetings from Argentina !!
They were just in their bag during that album. Pinnacle of their creative powers
All I'm gonna say is you should listen to the whole album IN ORDER😍
Do the bonus track on this album called earache my eye it has Cheech
Marin on vocals 🤣🤘🏻
I wasnt here since your slipknot reactions. come here for this one. good reaction bro. you reaching 22k . congrats

Very good reaction, man
🙏
You can listen to all four of their first albums and there's not one single song that you have to skip through.
I have seen them perform this song live a couple times. I will tell you some of their non hit songs are the best live!
The guitar player is making those noises and the other guitar player is playing the high sound
You should react to the live performance of Dead Bodies Everywhere from Montreux 2004.
I hope you go deeper down that Korn rabbit hole. If you can relate to the lyrics well I'd say take Korn in small doses. I always prefer watching videos that I hope get a ton more views. Hahaha not now let him enjoy nu metal first 🤣
Carnifex did a Hell of a cover from this song. It's a must react now You've heard the original 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻
Fieldy. Period.
I 2nd that 🤘🤘🤘
He slaps that bass around like it owes him money.
Just like Slipknot Saturday's, you should have Korn Manday's, and just do a Korn song reaction on any day of the week you hear the Elote Man rollin down the street, lmao... You DO have an Elote man, no?
surprisingly great album for a band that was wasted drunk and constantly influenced on drugs for the making of this
"they are so unique"
if you like unique, check out some Tool. if you havent already. i just found your channel this morning :)
you can also never go wrong with Korn.
I would suggest you react to Children of the Korn featuring Ice Cube. That is one of my personal favorites. I know you will really like that one.
Reacciona a Korn jingle balls 💪😎
All The Time I Bled by flymore might sound familiar to some
twisted transistor
I miss the 90s for music so much.
Try: Suicide Silence - You only live once
