thanks alot
Thanks for watching!
thanks
thank you, but could tell you, why it spelled so hard. is it a part of a French word?
Yes, here's the origins of the word: Middle English (also in the sense ‘inner thoughts or knowledge’): via Old French from Latin conscientia, from conscient- ‘being privy to’, from the verb conscire, from con- ‘with’ + scire ‘know’.

Can "conscience" be pronounced with a CH sound=> KAHN-chns?
Hi, yes, as long as the "ch" isn't too pronounced (don't allow it to have a sharp burst of air like you would with a "ch" at the start or end of a word). In some words, when the ch/sh sound is in the middle, it isn't as strong of a distinction between those two sounds.
I Waiting for you.
I am a native cnglish speaker yet I'm having issues saying "conscientious". Kind of embarrassing! I can manage to say it slowed down, but when speaking faster, I trip up.
I think we all have words that trip us up - I suggest practicing it slowed down, then speed up just the word, then practice putting it in some short phrases. The more you do that, the more likely you'll be able to say it smoothly when you need to use it in conversation.
Hello Christine ,, this is Moath
Hi Moath, how are you doing? Nice to see you here!
could you please learn the pronunciation of " mysterious"?
Good suggestion, I can cover your word in a future video. It sounds like "mih STEER ee us."
@@SpeechModification thank you
I think you were pronouncing the words with the "ch" sound in the beginning but later on explained they should be "sh" which is making it confusing.
Sorry it's confusing, the difference in sound between ch and sh in these words is very small. It is usually an "sh" sound, but unlike the "sh" at the start or end of a word, when it's in the middle, we say the sound without holding it for a long time, so it can sound like "ch." As long as you aren't using a strong burst of air on a "ch" sound, you can pretty much use either sound in these words.
Complicated 🙂

You should rename your video tonge twisters.
Thank you

Good suggestion! I can cover it in a future video.
Hi, I covered "asterisk" here: ua-cam.com/video/F3bdQceL2TM/v-deo.html
The pronunciation of the “n+ʃə” sounds like “n+tʃə” ? 🤨
It can be hard to hear the difference, and yes, it might have a little bit of a /tʃ/ sound, but it shouldn't be strong.
These two pronounce extremely similar
Yes, they are very close.
I will stay conscious to watch
So difficult to pronounce 😅
sounds like ch...
Yes, in the middle of words when the "sh" sound is after an /n/ or /ŋ/ (ng) sound, it can sound like "ch." In fact, you can't really tell the difference between "ch" and "sh" in these contexts.
