@@nikolaychikhachev7115 I think that doesn't necessarily have to be primordial here. Because, simply, native speakers make mistakes every time. Native speeches are plagued with errors, and that is an inherent part of talking spontaneously. Of course, that's not appropriate in the context of an English lesson, but that doesn't necessarily diminish the qualification of somebody in regard to their knowledge of a language (maybe yes, maybe not).
The teacher in classroom is unreplaceable,AI it comes to facilitade when people doing it of the best way. But,human take care it will never being step down, because machine does not feelings and warmheart, like human being.
How wonderful it is that the teacher has adopted the tool for teaching; it is fantastic and does not exclude the teacher. Rather, it guides us to understand how such a tool can be instrumental in accelerating learning. Thank you for your motivation to using GPT to enhance everyone's learning. Oliveira from Brazil! I'm using GPT to read that. Bye!
This time Emma has outdone herself ! The video is full of helpful tips and practical examples. Emma has been my English teacher for a long time, and I cherish the conversation classes with her and other students. (Just to know ChaptGPT has changed “regret” that I have used with “cherish” more appropriate here) You never stop learning !!! Bye Emma A big hug.
A sort of private lessons during the covid time. We were from 5 to 10 students for each lesson. Unfortunately she had to quit due to too many commitments she has. I hope she resumes one day. Bye.
Hello. I think "miss" is the word you were looking for here. It is only because you used the present perfect, implying she Still is your teacher now, that "cherish" made more sense than miss. Although "cherish" is also often used to talk about something that was acquired in the past, whether it be a thing or a memory. I mean, not invalidating the usefulness of AI, but... It's still not replacing humans.
Got it. Before watching this video, I usually choose to learn a new language by reading basic article and news. When I encounter unfamilar words, I usually use Immersive Translate to help me look up their meaning and then memorize them. I think this new also a good way to learn a new language.
Thank you Professor Ema. Since the fact the Language English shows three mayor challenges for most people around the world specifically those ones that use "Linear writing and phonetic Latin characters". 1 English uses Latin vowels and consonants with a very different sounds than "Linear" Latin speakers. Even if we do not English we may "read " translating it. But we never learn such language if we don't learn to listening reading and pronounce it. The only programs that boosted my English comprehension without uses the screen or keyboard "freehands"while I'm working or driving is KINDLE audio books and J.W. Library Whit their simple English audio magazines. Thank you for helping me with this new tool AI.
It's awesome to have found you again. I used to watch your lessons on Engvid, but -I don't know why- I stopped seeing you or any other teacher from Engvid. Anyhow it's great to follow you again, now on UA-cam. You're an inspiring teacher.
I’ve been trying ChatGPT since I saw your video and I’ve been impressed how AI machines work specifically ChatGPT gives an opportunity to learn better if you give it a prompt at beginning of the chat, for instance, if you said “ act as a English teacher” and the answers will be more direct as if chat was a real teacher! Thanks 🙏🏾
Really ma'am you are the one of the best teachers , my favourite ma'am you speak and explain slowly and clearly that help us a lot thanks ❤from India/Bharat
Hi ,you must know that you are the best teacher in the world 🌎 I can swear ❤ because when U explain something everyone can understand you ,U use your body language with another meaning of the same words ...sorry for my poor English... I will learn it ...I give U promise 😊
As a student, I loved this video, and after your explanation, I changed my mindset about this kind of artificial tool. Thanks a lot, and congratulations on your professional history.
Great introduction on this new useful (and dangerous) tool. Thanks. I tried it once long time ago. I asked for a brief story in English and it delivered it quite quickly, and included the words I had mentioned. It felt as if I were reading a book. Literature vocabulary. I was amazed.
Found your video by chance,an English speaker trying to learn a different language. This explains Chat GPT very well and will explore it myself. Thanks for the great insights.
I wrote: That was very interresting. I was suprised what can possible here. Well done. Thank you! Is this correct? ChatGPT wrote: Your sentence is almost correct! Here's a slight adjustment to make it more accurate: "That was very interesting. I was surprised by what is possible here. Well done. Thank you!" 😊😊👍👍
Really very interesting video. FYI: I put the same question "How can I learn English" and got a 15-point list (You got 10 only). AI answers are not always the same. It is helpful to keep track of the thread and with more accurate questions develop the discussion with .. WHO? .. him or her? "It" fits the best, I think.
Just saw your comment, and I did the same but exactly same text. I mean the teachers makes mistake about the text, so i wrote the same text to try. I shared my comment here. I see the interesting that in the explanation of Chatgpt itself that Chatgpt does not ask questions. But in this video , it is asking.
Hello, I'm an old french and i appreciate realy your pronounciation loud and clear. I would like to improve and speak again english, your video is great and funny ;-). I will see your all video now to catch something good and help for me. My level english is only A2... Need more pratices ;-).
I consider Emma you are one of the greatest teacher I’ve ever seen. I love your lessons, I like the fact that you always make them entertained, I like how you explain everything and make things easy for us to understand and above all i love your charisma and charm. You are so much better than what Chat GPT says, as it has never taken your lessons it can’t express how great you are. So it is true, Chat GPT does make mistakes
As and English teacher myself, I found this to be very helpful for myself and how to share and use ChatGBTwith my students. Would like more on this topic, example: How to use ChatGBT for Business English - intermediate - advanced students. Much appreciated. By the way, I often recommend your site as a resource for my Business English students.
This is a nice way to learn a language too. By letting chatgpt create simple stories for you. Actually I forgot this feature haha... Another feature I use in chatgpt is generating wordlists on a subject... Like I ask chatgpt to create word lists around a specific subject nicely formatted as table with english and chinese words with pinyin. But I also ask chatgpt to create these lists with other languages I'm learning like spanish... So I will ask to add an extra column in spanish... Also I ask chatgpt to create lists in the other languages I'm supposed to know which is now about 6 languages. I don't ask it to generate lists in my native language. So usually I ask to generate word lists around family, colors, in and around the house, food, fruits, etc... I put these lists on my desk and sometimes look at the lists while I work... So that's another nice feature of chatGPT!
Thanks for sharing your lesson Emma. You are so good teacher that I "must" not only click on "like" button but also click on "subscribe". A big thanks again for your good lesson Emma.
It's realy good ,it'S helpful for student and many persons who wante to study but humain teacher remain the best teacher who has mrthodes to make their student learning languages especialy teenager

Dear Teacher thanks a lot for showing us how to use Chat GPT for learning. How about reading ? ChatGPT is able to Pronounce or read a story or not? Thank you in advance.
The CharGPT is helping me a lot with English. I don't understand everything the teacher explains, and with the help of ChatGPT, I can do my homework very satisfactory. Emma, thank you very much for your information, I find it very useful.
I am English and a native English speaker from England itself. I am currently learning Spanish. I will try to use chat GPT to take some of the trudge out of looking stuff up all the time. Likewise I also have rusty French - I can see that I might then use it to revive the French as well but I wonder whether I might be able to use it to learn Korean. I just fancy doing something which doesn't use the roman alphabet / lettering system - but I need to be taught how to write / create and recognise the letters
