A mate has just bought an Astra. Not a full F2 but a good spec GrpN sort of thing.
Had a passenger ride in one of these at castle Combe, fastest car I have been in, I have been in cars with more bhp but it’s the overall performance ie braking and turning which is far beyond anything road car wise.
Yes another level of performance that numbers don't do justice to.
Do you have the joystick or the normal sequential gear lever?. Lovely car.
Also i seem to remind this car with a different bumper on tarmac events.

That's a well looked after car, is it one of Don Woodfields cars ? How would it compare to your R5 for performance. Parts would be hard to come by !!!!!
Hiya. It’s my mate’s car. He says the Corolla is quicker than an R5 in straight line performance and pulls out the bends quicker. The R5 is a faster all round car. Parts aren’t plentiful…you need to buy these with a good spares package if you’re going to use them.
