    Der Windschutz scheint exzellent zu sein, man hört ja so gut wie keine Windgeräusche am Helm. Beeindruckend! 👏🏻

      in der unteren stelllung, wie im video, knallt er dir genau ins gesicht. Und das ist gut so, man bekommt Luft ab, wenn man möchte. Und wenn das Windschild dann oben ist, dann geht die Luft astrein über den Helm drüber. Auf der Autobahn ist das selbst ohne OHrenstöpsel ganz leicht aushaltbar

    funny that youve mentioned it in the intro. ive been getting the same annoying bumps during my POV recordings.. i was so frustrated because i couldnt locate the issue. then on a sunny day i checked my pov ride and in the shadow on the road of myself. i saw my bags straps flickering like crazy and hitting constantly. it made sense, and now that youve mentioned it aswell im super certain ! 😂

    Did a testdrive on this bike today, great handling, nice engine and you immediately fall in love with the DCT ... if the ride is comfy and you can ride it like a naked bike I am sold ;)

    Thx Schaaf, I do not know how I missed the NT on our chanel, just stumbled across it, because 24 it will be a new one for me, maybe the NT, we will see. Nice rinding, nice comments and btw, that insect was an offering to the motorcycle gods, so it will surely go to heaven, feast and drink with its ancestors ! Great vid, thx !

    Tried the manual version of this bike the other day at the dealer for just 20 minutes, but it was a incredibly sweet bike to ride. I was planning on getting it, but unfortunately they had just decided to bump the price by over 10% so I decided not to get it. I will have a look at it again next year when the next version arrives.

    This bike sounds the same as CRF1100L Africa Twin, it's adventure bike brother. Because the engine of this sport tourer motorcycle is the same as the Africa Twin. Great video as always

    How is the lack of clutch around town for the low speed stuff?
    Did it take much to get used to, or are you riding the rear brake more with no clutch to modulate?

      i always use the rear brake to modulate so it was perfectly fine. And very nicely balanced actually

      Enough power is subjective. I think it has enough power to travel comfortably but not enough power to have real fun. Vibrations are not an issue

    Hi, very nice video of which I seem not to be getting enough 😄. Took delivery of my new Honda NT 1100 three weeeks ago. I am enjoying it a lot. I think it's a great bike with a great engine. Although, sometimes you have to manually shift gears down before sharp bends, even in automatic mode, - I'm mostly using S1 - it's great fun. The gear shift paddles on the left side handlebar just do the job fantastically, much quicker than any other method, inlcuding quick shifter on manual bikes.
    What's your traction control setting? I am still struggling a little bit with the blue bars. I got the power settings all right: 1 bar = max. power. What is one bar in traction control ? Highest TC, or lowest TC? Thanks. Best regards and stay safe.

      As far as I know one bar means least intrusive. But I never figured it out completely. I never have Hondas long enough to truly understand their dashboards ;)

      The wind and weather protection is unmatched. The suspension quality is not that great. The seat is extremely comfortable and well designed. It is a great bike for long distances

    Wie immer geiles Video.
    Ich habe meine seit letzten Mittwoch, jetzt 1600 km runter.
    Die NT ist genau das, was ich wollte. Ein reines Tourenbike mit genügend Schmalz von unten. Touringsitz bringt einiges an Mehrwert. Die NT hat alles, was ich brauche und ich habe sogar Hebelschützer gefunden, die passen und dazu geil aussehen. Gibt es bei Polo von Acerbis. Obenrum wünsche ich mir 1500 u/min mehr. Ab 7000 setzt der Begrenzer ein. Die Menüsteuerung schreit nach Überarbeitung. Ich würde die drei Parameter Traktion, Motorbremse und Power mit auf die Funktionstaste legen. Könnte der Favoritenknopf entfallen, irgendwie sind die Schalter Blinker schlecht zu erreichen und zu klein. Wie ich die Wheelycontrol einstelle, weiß ich immer noch nicht. Die rechte Armatur ist okay so.

    I have this bike and finding it very nice and comfortable but as you suggested it is not designed to push through twisty roads. Its too heavy and DCT(that I have) is not as precise for that sort of driving. For city commuting and higway is perfect. Definitely highlight is windscreen which gives superb protectyion so you can ride even if it is rather cold.

    What is this little screen (under the speed/rev/gear display) for? Seems redundant if it's just for speed...🤔

      yup. You can even adjust the top screen so it just shows you a pretty revcounter and gear indicator and nothing else. So it's handy to have the speed down there as well

    My manual is in Honda, with a throttle issue. Also, doesn't want to turn right for some reason. Not the same experience I had with the Africa Twin 😪

    Hi Schaaf! Since you mention "to do big tours at a faster pace there are better options to buy" -- could you suggest a few of those options pls? ^^ I'm currently looking for an Eierlegende Wollmilchsau - travel comfortably for hundreds of km with luggage and pillion, ideally w some weather protection, _and_ have fun in the twisties (Alps/Balkans mostly). My main bike is a Street Triple, it's awesome for day trips but not made for luggage/pillion/long tours. Also, I'm 1,86 tall so I need some leg room. I was thinking mb a Tiger 800 or a V-Strom but not sure yet. (Oh yeah and budget-wise it will have to be Used either way.)

      @@a6s4z Yes, I got me a V-Strom 1000. ^^ Turned out to be just the right choice. Engine pulls like a tractor, totally unfazed by pillion and luggage. On bad roads it just floats over bumps and creases, while still being agile. Comfortable even on long hauls. All in all a real gem.
      BTW I didn't get to try out the Versys 1000; there simply wasn't one in my price range.

      @@grimmbartrides Thank you! I am happy that you found the right bike for you. The whistle noise of the V is not everyone's cup of tea. But then again the whine of the Versys' gearbox in the 4th, 5th and 6th gear sounds annoying (like it did on the Tracer 900).

      FJR 1300 😉 Try the R1250 RS as well, it’s a fantastic sporttouring bike but also agile enough for twisty roads. Especially if it is equipped with an sbk-handlebar.

    As a Hondafan - nice to see another bike with that engine. Sounds good. But the look ... not my taste.
    It reminds me of the X-ADV, but the X-ADV looks better :D'If it would have a shaft drive it would earn some extra points but it hasn't.
    Doesn't induce any "wanna-have feeling" maybe the Hawk might do it better.

      yup. I want to ride it every year but I can't get enough spare time on my hands to get it MOT ready

    Warum hast du im ersten Teil zwischendurch das untere Display bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten geblurrt (geblurred?)? Mir gefällt die Karre, weiß gar nicht was alle haben mit der Optik 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Menudo tractor, el sonido es mucho mejor el de la África, y la trasmisión suena como el metro de Barcelona, yo creo que con el motor V4 de 800 CC de la vfr dejándola en 90 CV para tener más par habría sido mejor, pero solo es mi humilde opinión.

      entre el sonido y los colores disponibles esta moto es mas sosa que un granizado de agua mineral.. lastima no saquen la africa con 19 delante y sin camara..

      @@Schaaf Nice. I had the first gen nc700x from 2012. I see the similarities between these two bikes and I think this NT would be more in my wheelhouse with the power. It sucks that they cost so much.. I’ll keep my Honda fury til then… 😎

    Mein nächstes Auto und Motorrad haben ein automatisiertes Getriebe...kein Vorteil durch Schaltgetriebe im Jahre 2023. Geile Fahrt wie immer. (Oida, liegt da Schnee?)

    sounds much less crisp than africa twin. i can agree about dct, iam really glad that they didnt have manual version in stock when i was purchasing AT month ago

    Gibt es ein paar legale Nachrüstanlagen (Slip On oder Komplettanlage) für das Bike? Würde gerne einen Versuch wagen - wenn Freund & Helfer nicht so allergisch dagegen wären.....😮‍💨

    Hallo Schaaf,
    es wird oft wegen des "zu weichen" hinteren Federbeines gemeckert (MOTORRAD Testheft). Wie siehst Du das bei schnellerer Fahrt?
    Eine Sitzprobe für mich ergab zwar die passende Höhe, aber ich fand die Fuhre schon im Stehen sehr "knautschig" so daß ich zunächt von einer PF Abstand genommen habe. (s. Video +/- 7:00)
    Schräglagenfreiheit: Na. ja, geht so, wenn ich mir Dein Video ansehe. Anscheinend nichts zum schnell Fahren
    Meine Tiger 800 XRt hat (nach ein paar Verbesserungen) von Beidem mehr 😎😁😉
    Leider hat Honda die Chance verpasst eine 6-Achsen IMU zu verbauen und die Koffer sind auch zu klein (Helm).
    SEHR SCHADE......
    ..ehe ich es vergesse: Kurvenlinie: Schaafissimo 👌

    Welche macht mehr spaß?nt 1100 oder bmw rt?das wären meine 2 Kandidaten für nächste moped....mir geht's um windschutz,Langstreckentauglichkeit....bmw hätte halt das soundsystem on top....nt hat aber auch irre spaß gemacht bei der probefahrt!bitte hilf mir

      Mir macht die RT mehr Spaß. Die NT ist nur in Sachen Windschutz ein bisschen besser.

    Sorry for being harsh, but DCT should just stay on 4 wheels instead of 2. I hate to manually configure the engine break, left alone the auto gear, as down shift and slipper clutch are my go to. Your set up looks effortless to ride, still.
