Met Pete a few months ago, I'm planning on doing all 6 speakers, amp and the 19' head unit on my 18 CVO SG. Pete was very informative and honest and took lots of time going over the options, I just need to schedule the time to do it. Great company!
When I first saw the new Harley radio on a 2019 Ultra, the first question that came to mind was 'will it fit on my 2015?' That question has now been answered. Great video!

I used the Soundz GTS interface kit to upgrade my ‘18 CVO Road Glide, and I love the new GTS radio. Not cheap, but well worth it for me. One thing I did was buy the GTS headunit from a H-D dealer who has an online marketplace, and I saved a couple hundred bucks by doing it that way.
Wow, that is some real impressive audio equipment. Not totally sure that the new radio is that much better to spend that kind of money to put it on my 2017 RGU. I mostly just run Spotify off my phone into the sound system on the bike. Great video a John . Thanks
I've had Soundz install their gear on my last two touring bikes ('14 Streetglide then 14' CVO Limited), first with the old Focal stuff (streetglide) they had and their own gear on the Limited. Can't recommend Pete enough, catch them at the various rallies and let them do the install - they do great work!!!
John, good see that you were able make the visit possible. Now I would like to hear Harley why the GTS is not possible for 2018 models and earlier. Perhaps a topic when you will Mat the next time.
HD's corporate answer will be that it's not possible with Genuine Harley Davidson parts . they will never recommend an aftermarket part to you . going to an individual dealer is different , but finding one who knows what you need to know is hard . even if HD makes a part that does what you want , if they haven't tested it they will say it won't work . corporate CYA in action .

Check out Audiowerks while you’re in Laconia. They built my stretched street glide, and just did bars and audio in my 19 Road Glide. The owner Matt definitely customer oriented. Great bunch of guys.

I plan in the future to do a stage 1 upgrade but it looks like some of the exhaust cover the stock mounting location on the exhaust side. Keep up the great content. Big dirty thumbs up.

I bought a pair of Legend shocks off him and he made a mistake about which model they were. when i pointed it out after money had changed hands, he was gonna eat the shipping costs and refund my money immediately, but we worked out a deal on them anyway. i'd do business with that guy any day.

When did folks start to get too scared of being in their own head and just listen to the symphony of the highway as they ride???? Only use I can see for it is when you get to a campsite and everyone is partying. You can get a ghetto blaster for about $50 and spend $2450 on real bike parts. #deepsigh I guess that's just what these newer riders are becoming... 😒 Having said that, I really appreciate all the videos that you produce, so thank you and please keep up the good work. /PS: I've been chasing my front wheel since the early 60s, the difference in the riders is remarkable! I believe the demand is high. If an aftermarket company finds a solution either Harleys product marketing department is not very strong to get a request into the organization or electronical development can not find good solution. Btw, same issue with Whim and the non stereo streaming.
WIsh someone would find a fix for using a non-Harley Sena headset with the WHIM. The units are the same so it has to be a matter of firmware programming. Where are the hackers when you need them?

Unless you got somethin REAL unusual, grab a pr of boxin gloves and wear em out on your dealer. I had a worn out 14 Tri Glide with a weak motor (no cooling and 40K 2 up miles runnin hot WILL wear the old 103s down) and ended up ridin home a new 19 with not only a GTS radio, but new forks new suspension new TC New ABS New Brembo electronically linked braking system, and a 114 motor. Hell of a lot of good stuff this year and yes the radio is MUCH faster. The 17 and 18 TGs are now instant "orphans"
I'm waiting for Harley to make the comm system universal before I do anything with the infotainment system on my 17 Ultra Classic. The whole system is kinda useless until I can bluetooth it into my helmet.
The "Module" that seemed to be the interface from New Radio to Older Bike... It seems to occupy the CB bracket? Is that correct and doesn't that mean if you do this... NO CB?

Only on CVO model, they have TPMS linked to the internal Boom system. Is there a way to enable TPMS ( tire pressure monitoring system) - linked to Boom system on non CVO models?

Soundz is great. I have one of there Arc amp and focal speaker set ups but I am thinking about getting there amp and dsp.

You can add the WHIM and do that.. or the Free Wire kit.

Yes, it can be “flashed” to work with your boom stuff.
