I started roadracing in the mid 80s when I was 19. Went on for 30 years. Plenty of broken bones and bank accounts but I wouldn't change a thing. A wonderful period in my life.... 🏁🏁🏁🏁
The late 70’s and early 80’s were the glory days of motorcycling in Northern Ireland. Growing up in Armoy at that time listening to the bikes, going to the races was magical so much excitement in a small country village. The boys were like heroes to the young ones. It was a sad journey back to Armoy after the 79 and 80 NW’s but Joey gave us many more great years and memories. Hearing the roar of the two strokes on the Bushside road is a memory I will never forget as the Armoy Armada rode into legend.
Loved this documentary, especially after catching up with John Smith on Tuesday and Con Law Wednesday when he very kindly came to visit my Father, both Absolute Gentlemen!
