As always a killer video. I love your videos around camtasia and how you address the product and the tools within camtasia. By far the best videos I've seen out there on this software.
Nice tutorial. I do not have Camtasia but did have a demo a few years ago. Seemed nice but was not into editing any video. 63 now and I get a headache trying to make sense of any of them now. I have adobe creative suite cs4 and premier pro is in it. I was able to edit some video but when it came to rendering and saving, the playback , the video was always small on the screen. I tried many times to find out why. I know it has to do with some output setting but I tried many and got same result. I am now messing with Davinci Resolve. Your videos are looking more pro all the time. : )
Hey, if inspired, feel free to reach out to me for some help... I think I can help you sort things pretty quickly.. bookme.name/gordisman/lite/30minfree .
Great work here Gord. Back in the day, I use to say "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" should be using this effect when they went to commercial. They could have shown the band playing thru the letters. Haven't thought of that till now seeing your video. I may try this myself. Thanks for the insight.
Your videos have been super useful - I'm just learning to use Camtasia. I'm looking for a confetti animation - any idea where I can download one? Thanks for all of your help!!!
Hi Sheila, are you looking for an alpha transparent Confetti to use in Camtasia? Is this an animated video, or do you just want to add an animation Confetti element to a video as a transparent overlay?
Those are some great effects. With the green issue, can you import a transparent png into Camtasia? The software might read the transparency instead of using the colour remove option.
Yes Jo, transparent PNGs can be used as overlays! I create those sometimes for filter effects as well. The Photoshop and Powerpoint Images were PNG imports. The main emphasis was to teach about the use of Remove a Color and show that you can do things right inside Camtasia, and when you are limited, by Camtasia, you can go outside (e.g. Powerpoint, Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, etc... ). Also, I wanted to show the cool Kinetic Text animation + Remove a Color to create very cool, animated stencil designs.
Hi CherryGiggles, unfortunately, I don't. But I may do a deeper dive into something like this in a course or workshop. You and some others have asked me about doing something like that for this and other videos.
Well, I'm sure you can create it in Premiere Pro, you just may need to build it, as I did. I also bet that there are 3rd party transitions you can buy for Permiere Pro that do this and a lot more!
Hey Christian, I appreciate that you find my videos worthwile! I continue to grow with each video and for me, I know that I start out with pretty good energy in my voice and then I find that as I get longer into the lesson, I sometimes lose the energy and become more monotone. I'm am always trying to improve on that for sure! I'm going to explore more on how to improve. Thanks again for the feedback.

Rob Maggs, thank you. My favourite features in Camtasia are the kinetic features :).
Nice effects Gord. 🙂
Thank you, Naomi. I learn lots of Camtasia magic from you!
I think we have a great friendship. We've learned so much from each other! It's reciprocal!
Hi Gord,
Thanks and wonder your great spirit in presenting new ideas.

That's a cool idea Jim... maybe back then it was a lot more work than it is to do now with something like Camtasia?
You are probably right. Now you and Camtasia make it possible for me to do it.

Thank you so much
thank you boss
Welcome!
Do you have an actual step by step tutorial for this please?
Hi CherryGiggles, unfortunately, I don't. But I may do a deeper dive into something like this in a course or workshop. You and some others have asked me about doing something like that for this and other videos.
Why You Don't share Project Files ?? please
Premiere pro needs that effect 4:55

For me is to fast. I am total beginer. I need step by step instruction.
If you click the "settings" icon in the UA-cam player, you'll see that you can slow down the playback speed. Hopefully this will help.
carry on Gord,Anyway U r look like my grandpa.....
You're a genius at a creating videos, but your monotone voice, as you're teaching, needs some adjustment.
