I have attempted Kinetic Typography in PowerPoint but in Camtasia, it has also been made easy. Thanks a lot for guiding us through a significant feature of Camtasia. Please keep it up.
Tariq, thanks for your kind words. Good luck with your text animation creations. I have a whole playlist focused on Text stuff. If you haven't taken a peak yet, here it is: ua-cam.com/play/PLqq5GVGhecWJi2FJRH8Mx1_Ivb4IVXBqc.html . Enjoy!
Haha, I never realized how great Camtasia 9 was until I saw this video, completely forgot about its existence and was stuck with 8. Vegas and After Effects are way too complicated; this is exactly what I wanted, and it's so easy and simple. Thanks uwu
Hi Sayin, I can't find where you are referring to in the video. Can you copy/paste the time-based URL here in another reply, or give me the time where you want me to look?
@@GordIsman Thank you Mr. Isman. These written text are on first views of all your videos almost. Before videos begin to play you can see the two colored written texts. Thanks again.
Damn it, Gord! This video was fantastic; now I have to get the new Camtasia. Rest assured, I'll be pumpin' up your views to go back through and learn the process of the Camtasia Animated Text feature. 5 stars!
Gord, this was a fantastic video. I was going to try to screencast text animation from Apple Page because I did not realize you could do this animation in Camtasia. Thank you so much!
Could you please explain the second one 6:39 (I mean guess what) in the reply section down below? I am not able to understand that. Please🙏🙏🙏. Thanks your series helped me a lot.
Hi Curious T. Try to focus on how the animation keyframes work. The trick is to look at the beginning and end keyframe positions and see what is visible on screen - what the shape is and it's position (via the properties). I appreciate that it may be hard to follow, but replay a few times over and see if you can figure it out. If you need help, feel free to reach out to me for a FREE discovery call: bookme.name/gordisman/30minfree .
I don't have the same options as you with tweaking the behavior in 2019 and 2021. I don't have the Type and Offset. My behaviors don't behave the same as yours.
My video is from 2017 and pre-dated the 2019 and 2021 versions. Perhaps you can share a link to an image or video clip and I can respond to help you out with the issue? Note that when you change context - the "Style" option or change from "In", "During" and "Out", you will see the parameters change. I see Type and Offset options for many things. It depends on your context. Share a pic/video with me via a link in response to this message.
Excellent videos. So glad I found you, Gord! I have an unrelated question. I need to record some videos, but like many others, I hate the sound of my own voice. Is there a way to type in the script and have a tool read it in a natural, professional-sounding voice? If that doesn't exist yet, someone will get rich when they figure it out.
Look into something like naturalreaders.com - I see they have an app service for text-to-speech creating. I also know that there are many other options out there. Just look for "text to speech" apps and you should find what your looking for.
Sir how to select the text, bcoz if I m using the annotation the text which is already there on my screen hides up the annotation bar, there after I m unable to add any effect to my slides
Are you having trouble adding a text annotation onto your timeline or canvas - is that the problem? Or, are you telling me that you're having trouble updating a text annotation that is on the Canvas and you want to update it with your own text? Perhaps you can tell me a little more.
@Gord Isman yes exactly sir I have trouble updating a text annotation that is on the canvas and want to update it with my own text. I have created a ppt lecture in which I want to add animation and behavior so I used camtesia, where I have imported my ppt. I have followed the steps which is their in ur video. But when I m applying the behavior to the timelines (it go with the whole screen not the text) Kindly tell me how can I animate the text which is already there in ppt slides.
@@MKupadhyay0728, thanks for the additional information. Sorry for the additional questions. When you are saying "applying the behavior", are you referring to trying to edit the text, or actually applying a Camtasia Behavior? Regardless, to edit the text in a Callout that has text, try to click or double-click on the annotation on the Canvas and then update the text. If you're having trouble getting context and accessing the text, try to "hide" other tracks that have elements around the annotation you want to edit, so as to help you isolate where you want to change. Then, after you update the text, "unhide" the track(s) that you hid. I hope that helps.
Gord Isman yes, the new video is coming soon, if I ever get over this cold. Coughing and sneezing does not permit good video! Going on three weeks now. Sigh!

Hi Techliner, I'm not sure I understand your question, but I think you are referring to the aspect that you are having performance problems. Here's the recommended specification for Camtasia 2019: www.techsmith.com/camtasia-system-requirements.html . That said, whenever I've had performance issues, I call TechSmith Support and they ask me to supply them with some information and then they make some suggestions. I suggest you follow up with them. Note, I too use an SSD for my C:drive, but I only put my OS and programs on that drive, and use other drives for data - this is a good practice. Using the SSD as you are is a good idea!
Can you tell me the start time for the example? You see, there are short and quick examples in the beginning and then deeper examples later. I can then give you a time estimate after that ...
I use Premier Pro, and have been put off trying kinetic text so far, as I am not technically minded lol You make it look really easy with Camtasia though.
I use Adobe Premier Pro, but not nearly as much as Camtasia. For many things, Camtasia is just so much easier, and for me right now, I appreciate "easier". That said, Adobe Premier Pro is a powerhouse and I will do more with it as well. Let me know how you make out with Kinetic Typography exploration there if you go for it!

If you feel like, it, check it out - my link: www.awesomecreatoracademy.com/a/6502/seRFs2ZH . What's great about this kit is that he keeps adding new assets to it. It's a great value. You will need Photoshop or something like Affinity to read the files. He also is now starting to add asset PNG files that you can use in something like CANVA. I hope this helps.
Yes, the variety is limited when one compares to more powerful editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut/Davinci Resolve. I too hope that TechSmith will add some more sophisticated pre-made animations - Behaviors going forward. We haven't got that many new ones. The last ones added were Explode and Fly-In...it's been a while.
On a separate topic, the 2021 release included over 100 new transitions, with many decent contemporary styles. Let's hope that improvement happens with new/added Behaviors.
