when i think Space Engineers this is what i imagine. outstanding.
and then you try to build it yourself and see it all blow up after spending 4 hours building it. Beautiful game

Same not overall crap looking builds with 9000 mods and claim their "vanilla" and use dlcs and mods then don't even work in atmo cause the don't have enough thrust going up and slowly fall down and can't go up well

Now he just needs to make a version that unpacks from a container of supplies, a battery, a projector, and a nano repair system. That way I can go to a planet... drop the package off let it buildup and do my thing. No self building needed.
The timer block wall killed me. I don't know what I honestly expected but this is beautiful.
And here is my question: how many times did this beautiful contraption klang out while testing?

Not even one time i had any clang issues. It has an vanilla "anti-clang" system. Sensors are recognizing upcoming rumble and it resetes the ground attachment, which kills all issues immediately.
@@KelevraEngineering what do you mean by sensing upcoming rumble and reseting the ground attachment? just unlocking and re-locking the landing gear?
@@MsArchitectschannel i think he means it stops and backs the drill alittle bit
@@matthewwilson5019 i dont see how that would solve the rumble?
clang with these things is usually nothing to do with the drills hitting anything and he says "ground attachment" :p

I love seeing deep core mining bases, rigs and vehicles. This one is very cool :)
best part i love about this is its easily able to pack up and move on, unlike the tunnel rigs we used before. this thing can change the tunneling meta if its applicable sidways
Impressive build and even more impressive is the ability to run it with nothing but timer blocks.
SE 2 needs some little big Planet type of logic. Working with just timer Blocks is a nightmare
Mechanical masterpiece. Was curious about the Timers to bring this thing working. Then u showed.. Soo many of them! Still cant imagine how to keep the brain in order to set all the Timers proper without freakin out. Thats a 2nd masterpiece hidden within. Hands down, what a great work man.
Workflow diagram, perhaps ? Then just stick to the plan. However, yes, I'm impressed how that worked so smoothly for SE notorious clang-iness.

As a fellow german im thoroughly impressed, I cant commit myself to such outstanding builds... I'd go insane during testing
I'm totally impressed with this build! I was caught by surprise a few times there! I couldn't tell why it had those conveyor tubes lined like it was. Then when I saw the first one swapping and could see the mechanism better, it was jaw dropping! Just absolutely brilliant! And the perfect use of merge blocks with the connectors. I almost thought it was large block parts at first. but I can see it was mostly small grid.
On one hand, amazing. Lovely. Incredible. Gorgeous.
On the other, anyone who would take this over weld/grind based one is crazy
On the third hand, I am crazy.

Reminds me of an oil drill, same simple idea of extending it via attachments, yet I'd have never had the patience required to fiddle with the controls. Well done, I do think clang or just maxing server/computer specs would be an issue. The few rigs IV played with or made tend to either kick me off the game or just slowly/suddenly breaking apart.
The doors and drill looked so smooth I at first thought it was a mod, I couldn’t dream of building something this impressive

They're more likely to fail when things get complicated but this thing... ohh this thing amazed me, it's beautiful. Very nice job my man.

Nice setup. When it was locking down, it gave me a flashback to an old wheeled mining rig I made long ago. I had it set to automatically lower the suspension and lock, then drill down, retract, and unlock. Problem was, I had the suspension raise before unlocking the landing gears, so when the timers released the landing gears, the rig launched into the air, came crashing to the ground, and became a crater full of scrap.
Wow. This is amazing. Good work. Nice Car. This is probably difficult to program. I hope one day I understand how it's done. I haven't been playing long enough to have that knowledge yet, but I'm impressed with what can achieve in this game. Thanks for sharing this project and greetings from Poland.✌
It is a pity that it will be very difficult to build survival. even if you are using multiple projections.

2) Stability arms, side panels and roof all opening at the same time is always cool.

That's so sick, i wsa working on a mobile large scale ice rig a month or so ago, fully moveable and station able, awesome to see other people with similar ideas to me, nice!

This is absolutely impressive from the slick design to the incredibly smooth application. How long did this take to develop?
Around 50h of building and setting up the timersystem + 100-150h for test runs.
When I see creations such as this then I always think this must be a true and real life engineer that made this.

I've been busy making a large grid drilling rig based on Wizard's design. Got the rig working, I just need to get the insides finished.

I challenge you to build this with projectors, welders and grinders, manufacturing tubes as the drill goes down and grinding them back up as you pull the drill out. :D

I wish I could trust the game to build things like this in multiplayer survival. But in the time that you've drilled a 500 meter hole in the ground (and filled your cargo) I've already made three trips to and from this icelake with my atmospheric thruster mining ship that has trusty fixed mount drills. And it clangs slightly less. But for sure, this is a marvel and I'm super impressed, particularly since this appears to be small grid.
