I'm a 31 year old boy, but these were my days. Everyone was younger back then. The world was a better place. There was no facebook and twitter. 2001 was a good year. Take me back Jesus.
They had fans (albeit limited capacity), but I'm guessing you decided to forego the trip. Did you go back in 2021 and ever since? The only tracks that I've been to are Pocono, Nazareth, and Dover. I moved from the Northeast to Myrtle Beach last year, and Darlington is only 70 miles away from me.
at least robby got into nascar through hard work, he didn't have his daddy's money behind him...plus robby's one of the greatest races of this modern day, racing and winning in everything from nascar to indycar to offroad trucks...dale jr. coasted by on okay talent and a name
If you look at Jr.’s early career it was obvious he had exceptional talent. Three major crash related concussions in a row scrambled his brain for good. The only difference between him and his dad was the fact that Sr. escaped any serious head injuries until very late in his career. Robby Gordon was a great off road driver but a lousy NASCAR driver.
you're a delusional moron if you think Junior got in solely on name recognition. If that was the case, Kerry would've been in the cup series too, but he wasn't. You're just a slack jawed mouth breather, plain and simple
and the track is destroyed they need to go back to this race or another configiration just not progressive banking its allright but no bump and run anymore its dive slide infront slow the field down just cant get nowhere so i agree

Honestly, I was born in 1998 and wish I grew up in my teen years in the early 2000s.
TheEgg185 This was in 2002. But goodness, 2001 was a phonemnal year. My favorite year of all time for me.
I was born in 2006 and all I know about 2001 was dale earnhardt dying, 9/11, and my parents getting married
It’s even worse now. This world sucks absolute D
Of course Robby Gordon would jump the start
That intro>>>> Man I miss those days. Both races here in 2002 were excellent. Now this track can't even break 30k for the Spring Race. Old Bristol>>>>

Stewart had a hard crash at Darlington the previous week and was still in pain from it.

William Grantham's Best Finish: 3rd (2002 Food City 500)
This is NASCAR at its absolute peak, except for the fact that Jeff crashed 😞
I Was 5 Years Old 2002
William Grantham I was too.
I forgot Nemechek drove the 26
I agree with Jeff Hammond
Junior’s Pit Strategy was Flawed in this race. I would have stayed out. But anyways!
On sunday, guess who will be there? GOLDBERG!
