2:17:07 Larry and DW talking about how Chad Knaus and Jimmie Johnson having chemistry and "if Jimmie has any talent, he'll be able to show it" apparently Jimmie has some talent
cookieboy17 He's overrated to me because of Chad Kanus. If he had any other crew chief he wouldn't have been as good. He has some talent no doubt but not Richard Petty, Dale Earnhardt talent and no 7 time without the chase in my opinion.

I swear there are more nascar fans watching these races on youtube than fans tuning into the crap today. The only race I watched in 2019 was when Jr. raced at Darlington.
@ 30:00 well at least it's not as annoying as it is now. It seems like he was gonna do it as a one off. or that's what we hoped for..... but it's not really bad here.....
@@santinopucheta1111 Not the full quote though. You have to hear the whole thing or it doesn't count. That's why I say Rockingham 2002 for FOX's first full race covered that year. Remember FOX and NBC alternate for the Daytona 500 and Coke Zero 400 back then.
A rare Atlanta win for Tony Stewart, but after seeing Bobby Labonte win so much there, it was his time I suppose. Also the first Cup race for Darrell's signature Boogity Boogity Boogity Let's Go Racin' Boys. He did say it in Kentucky in 2001.
we miss dodge and also we miss pontiac too.. damn those manufactures are good racecars but sad on pontiac they gone it all close forver. and then now japanese toyoyo's are now in the top thats craappy, shamed on american brands they loosing up.
This race was a letdown by the standards the old Atlanta spring race had given us. After the Earnhardt/Labonte and Harvick/Gordon epics, I felt this wasn't gonna be the same. While not epic, it was a meaningful race- the coming out party of 2002's young guns (I don't consider Kenseth a young gun, since he had been around a little longer than Newman/Busch/Jimmie)
+Chris Kreager It didn't have the epic finishes of 2000 and 2001, but at 34 official lead changes it was the most competitive Atlanta 500 since 1980 and the most competitive Atlanta race since the 1999 Dixie 500.
Man, when Pontiac left I was really disappointed. Just a good looking car.
Same thing to Dodge

@@osurocks24 Completely agree. As soon as he lost Knaus. He never won again. Chase rarely crowns the champion who scored the most points
