"I dont think the car is hurt that much"
"There's a fire on it Bob"
yes
I just love how Harvick launched himself over that car to get to Biffle.😂😂😂
i was thinking the same thing, he wasn't about to let anyone get between them and keep him away from Biffle that day
Yeah I had completely forgotten about that. 🤣
We teleported in next to biffle
He*
That landing right in front of Biff just classic
The enthusiasm of the old NBC/TNT crew was always so great! Miss Benny so much
Sometimes i do too, i miss larry mac occasionally too
Tony Stewart has the best helmet throw form
It's not bad
@@chrismathewsjr Another case of people not looking at the facts of the accident 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
@@chrismathewsjr Right....so we just going to ignore the fact that Kevin Ward was high during the race and the fact that he got out of the car and went into the racing groove. Yup I'm totally the dummy here 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
@@chrismathewsjr That wasn't a murder. Kevin Ward played a stupid game and he won a stupid prize 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
@Damar Fadlan you can count on that
That tony Stewart helmet throw will always be one of my favorite nascar moments
And vice versa
Gonna rewatch the 2002 Sharpie 500 just for the commentary lol
that whole race🚘is commentary gold💎
let's hope we get some of that good bristol action on Saturday
We will.
@@MyMrsMoon loganos trash
And hopefully Logano doesn’t win

@Shane Mendel i hope chase wrecks Logano again, it would make my day.

"Dale you're the best!" 😂
Yes, Dale is the best.
@@Ghostmotorfinger Both of them are
I still remember that 2002 race. Was a blast. They were counting cautions, heel boots thrown and everything 🤣
Give us a streaming service to watch old races in this quality!!!! People will pay for it!!!!
Dang, 2002 was a wild year for Bristol
Love him or hate him. Dale Earnhardt made Bristol exciting. Sure do miss him.
With as much as happened at the Bristol night race in 2002, I only remember Ward throwing his pads at Junior, and Jeff Gordon bumping Rusty Wallace for the win, and the words Rusty said afterwards. Literally forgot about Jimmie Johnson showing emotion on the track for roughly the only time in his career.
The 2002 Night Race is my personal favorite of all-time for so many reasons.
Both 2002 Bristol's races were awesome. Man, Old bristol was incredible.
Kyle busch will never have as many boooo’s as Dale senior! Dale lives forever!
Robby Gordon. The driver with no friends hahaha.
No brains either
Funny you guys say that because Tony Stewart said Robbie although not his favorite person, was a guy who could strap into anything and win,
Robby Gordon is a guy who had tremendous talent in everything he drove but whatever series he was in whether it was nascar, off-road racing, or stadium super trucks Robby Gordon's issue will always be the same thing. Robby Gordon
A asshat in epic form
The Tony Stewart one in 2012 is class 🤣😂👌🏻
I watched it live, was not a Kenseth fan after that
@@mandude03VideosYT yeah I was pissed off
@@mandude03VideosYT Was at the race with a dead ahead view (between turn one and the end of the front stretch, 25 rows up). They traded for a lap and a half. Tony did more taking than giving. Matt let Tony slide up the turn before the wreck and tried to race clean. Tony didn't give the same courtesy, then didn't like when Matt slid up in to his door (the same way Tony did before. The announcers called it a slide, but Matt lifted and let him in). When Tony turned down to do some rubbing of his own, they wrecked. Stewart's fault. I came home and watched it dvr'd the next day, and tv didn't do it justice.
@@marcushudson2911 all im gonna say is there is a reason kenseth only has one 'ship and Tony has three.
@@theheadofthetable4246that has nothing to do with what happened that day. unless you are saying that being a hotheaded aggressive driver equals more chances to win a championship. Tony is in the category of top 3 naturally talented drivers in my opinion. Matt is an intelligent and methodical racer who worked on his car all race with good feedback that not only helped on race day, but also let you build programs around. They are different. But none of that mattered on that day at Bristol. I'm not comparing the driver's careers, so I don't understand your comment. That day, Tony caused the incident. doesn't matter if he had 40 championships.
I'm glad I've been fortunate to see some of these incidents happen in person. When I was 10 years old I'll never forget sitting in the front row between turns 3&4 watching beer cans fly over my head at Dale's car after he spunout Terry in '99.
Terry, what a loser
What a race car driver you are dearly missed Nascar isn't the same without you go number 3 .
it's bristol BABY!!!!!!
It’s really cool looking at all of the race cars over the years.
Terry Labonte was spot on when he stated it depended on who it was. Dale wasn’t penalized for a lot of things that others would certainly have been.
I also forgot how much of a tool Robbie Gordon was. It’s hysterical Joey wanting an apology when he’s never given one- particularly when he injured Denny.
Robbie is delusional
Joey when he gets wrecked: cries. Joey when he wrecks people: tHaTs JuSt ShOrT tRaCk RaCiNg
Denny Hamlin sounded just like himself when he tried to copy joey. Funny shit
Funny that’s half the field these days. Elliot does it. Gets cheers. Joey does it gets boo’d. Guess it really does matter what your last name is.
Ward Burton was a cool dude to root for. him and his brother both. vividly remember those early 2000s races, weekends from childhood. such a fun track.
The #22 CAT Dodge will forever be my favorite livery
2002 was a hell of a year at Bristol.
Seeing tempers flare at Bristol is what makes Bristol so good
Tony Stewart’s was the best because you can see exactly what happened. As soon as Kenseth pushes him up the track he full sends it left and then once they spin he just locks it straight and ruins Kenseth race because he says F U with a perfect helmet for throw hahaha that was awesome
I sure miss this golden age of nascar drivers
Watching this video while sitting at Bristol September 2022!! Ready for some great action!
Should've called this video the Dale Earnhardt Bristol highlight reel.
God, the Oppermans from Texas will always love and miss you Dale Earnhardt Sr, your fans forever. Lord, we wish Dale Earnhardt Sr was still with us still able to race. We have missed Dale and his racing. Jerry and Sugar Bear and Gloria and Bear
Hell yeah on the helmet thing
Sure do miss the TNN coverage.
They need to go back to the early 2000s type of racing, also great rivalries in this sport helps
2002 was a great year for Bristol
My old man loved Earnhardt, but he always said if Tim Richmond had lived longer he would have gave Earnhardt a run for his money.
*** YOU FORGOT GORDON VS KENSETH 2006 SPRING RACE.. ***
Let's be honest, if one of the young guys in this day and age raced as aggressively and spun people out as willingly as Dale did, the NASCAR faithful would probably hate him.
in all honesty Dale's only as loved as he is because he died midrace. He has fans split when he was alive. If someone today had the same hard-nosed, dgaf personality, it'd be more or less the same. Logano got bashed because he was a brat about everything, Ross today gets held back because there's times he should've owned up to what he did but either didn't or gave a nonanswer to avoid saying it was his fault or the other guys. You gotta have the right personality for the fans to back that driving style
I think i need to go watch the 2002 Sharpie 500 with how many incidents from that race alone are in this video
Can’t wait for Saturday
The content we need
Boy Bristol has changed over the years 🏁🏎💪🫡

That's how it looked on the broadcast. HD existed already by then.

Rusty Wallace: *Haha. I'm in danger*
My hair looks terrible sorry mom 😂
I like how most of these are Earnhardt
Not surprising he was a dirty driver
JDM forever
Nope
Bristol was best when the bumpers didn’t line up like they do today.
I think alot of has to do with the low line being better then too.
The people who disliked got their cages rattled a bit too much 😂
NASCAR, yall needa do a full race replay for the 2008 Sharpie 500 and 2012 Irwin Tools Night Race PLEASE
2002 night race was crazy
Kyle Busch is the modern Dale Sr yet everyone hates him bc of how aggressive and hard he is. Weird.
Not because of the way he drives.... love the way he drives a car. Because he just whines and complains when he doesn't win.
@@mikep3813 Fair enough. That's a far more reasonable reason. 👍🏼
@@Andrew-wt1oq Busch is trash and very overrated he is nothing compared to Dale sr or jr

Track hasn’t been worth a damn since they repaved it.
Dirt track was pretty good tho
RIP Tim Richmond, Lovely guy but certainly wasn't perfect
Robby Gordon vs everyone lol
I would've thought Kyle Busch vs Brad Keselowski from the 2010 Xfinity race would make an appearance in this
Sweet jebus '99 still makes me mad holy crap. haha
back when NASCAR was bigger than football and had the best fans.
Bubba needs to actually pay attention. McDowell got hooked first
Bryon didn’t touch McDowell until he had already started turning Bubba
I miss Winston Cup NASCAR.
It's been amazing watching Harvick and Busch mature with age. back in this time, they were no more than selfish punks
Which Busch are we talking about 😂😂😂
BIGBURT Kurt
Ole Winston cup days 🫡💪👍🏁🏎
Everyone that praises Dale Sr. For his driving then whines about chastains driving are hypocrites, they drive exactly the same, thats why chastain is amazing.
Wow
Yes
2 Things about booing, they pay the same for a ticket, and if they're booing, they are watching.
Gordon vs Kenseth?
Crazy how back in the day everyones freaking out over wrecking someone to get the win and calling it illegal. Meanwhile its every damn week these days
Maybe it’s a bad angle, but it really looked like McDowell was at the very least loose from turn 2 and got into Bubba. It really didn’t look like the 24 got into him at all. Accident or not, was freaking awful. Hated that for both of em. At least a positive came of it and they sold that bumper for charity. Haha
What about 2013 Irwin tools night race?
I just LOVE the way that UA-cam loves to shove these commercials right in our faces, just as we're watching a great clip! It's being done right in the middle of these clips, and it needs to stop! At least, wait until a specific event in the video is finished, before putting in a commercial. Come on, UA-cam! You can do better than that!
What about truex vs Kyle Busch in the 2018 night race
they missed Kenseth Vs. Gordon in 06'!
Wow you can see the decline of the crowd start in 2013
Bristol compilation
Robby Gordon sounds absolutely mental
Definitely.
I'm just here to watch ads
Back when Bristol was the best race to watch.

Bubba should take his own advice.
i want Bubba Wallce out and gone forever he's trash
Says the toxic nascar fan 🙄
What did he say to you in the car
He said he was coming for me I usually don't see him so he's not a factor
Famous last words...
Logano ended up breaking Denny’s neck at auto club.
