- Chuck D appears with Henry Rollins in a cover of Black Flag's "Rise Above" 24 Black Flag Songs! We Filmed live at the famous Whisky A Go-Go. Directed by Modi and Kevin Kerslake who joined forces to capture the Rollins Band live for this special event that was in support of the West Memphis Three.
rollins voice got better as he got older
even as an old-looking dude, Rollins still kicks ass!
Most miniscule Chuck D guest spot since Sonic Youth.
So is this what Black Flag would have sounded like if they had a decent sound engineer back in the day?
But ... but... SST without Spot producing?.... Imagine what that would mean?.... I mean Husker Du could have been Nirvana...
Bless you, Kevin Fong.
West Memphis Three have been freed, now they need to RISE ABOVE!!!!!!
Black Flag with Henry was the ass-kickinest show I ever attended
One thing I like about Rollins in this video is that his voice clearer than old videos. lol
Solid Black Flag cover
Rollins and Chuck D? Hell you're nearly there just add the rest of my fave singers/bands/musicians
Excellent front man
This song kicks ass
Thanks for your "appearance" Chuck...

Последние из могикан, откликнитесь! Эта музыка позволяет жить дальше, утерев розовые сопельки
@flairmonkey Yeah I know. I was talking about how little Chuck D was in it
Hank is the man!
wait the whiskey in LA?? why the fuck wasn't I told about this.... gah..
@imptuner nad Hank has had some EPIC battles with Iggy trying to outdo him onstage some of the spoken words stuff about it had me breathless with laughter 'YOU'RE GOING DOWN IGUANA MAN!' iggy blows hank offstage :)
At the end, Henrys RAGE FACE!
Охуенный драйв! )))
@Dayberry Totally agree! but have you seen Iggy Pop lol that dude is nuts lol
@Dayberry Henry himself would argue that Iggy Pop has more energy then he does.
@carnagegerman It's odd because this footage was actually shot at the Glasshouse in Pomona the nite after the Whiskey show. It was December 2002! Sorry you didn't know about the show, as it is a fond memory of mine..good times..
