Shading with pencils is a lot of fun and once you get the hang of it isn't as hard as it looks. In this video we talk about drawing with a pencil, different types and lead hardness and how to get a nice pencil gradient when shading.

Drew some dsmp Cracters and didn't knew how to shade
My absolute favorite part of this is when you do the backgrounds.
I often felt ashamed and frustrated when doing background or maybe just filling something big in the same shade and the lines are visible and I'd end up comparing my progress to the "smoothness" of others or how the lines look almost invisible while mine looks like a hut weaving pattern but seeing you just go for it really helps boost the confidence.

The most difficult part for me was the background and your background is actually very constitent and mine is somewhere light and somewhere dark. BUTTT I know that I will get better and it actually makes me feel good that I'm learning from someone who is actually good in his work. Love u 🤟💌

My daughter has a set of shading pencils and I've been trying to get her to use them all, but she keeps using just one (it's not HB btw. Lol). I want her to watch this (I'll definitely get her to). You're like a teacher, but ACTUALLY entertaining.
